We first came to Blinds to Go about 14 years ago while also looking at a competitor (a design store that did blinds). We got contact information from both places for their measure and installation person - and both places used Shawn. Blinds to Go was less expensive, so we bought 10 cellular shades from them (8 cordless, 2 of which covered extremely large windows) for windows in 4 rooms and 2 hallways. Why start with this ancient history? Because of the lifetime guarantee, of course! About 2 years ago, one of the interior strings that held the blinds open snapped in one of the large windows, so that one side drooped terribly. Blinds to Go replaced the interior cording at no cost - no cost. However, in the years since we'd purchased our shades BtoG changed their header hardware. We got updated headers and clips (no charge for this) - and because the new header didn't match the other window shade in that room, they updated the second shade, also for free, though it wasn't even broken. Fast forward to now. We're finally replacing the remaining shades and blinds in our place. Shawn is still doing the measuring & installing. He's been here twice recently, since I changed my mind & want individual shades instead of one large one over a bay window. He's fast, pleasant, and accurate, though a man a few words. These blinds are not cheap - even at the lowest price point - but the company stands by its product. That means a lot to me given how long I'm keeping the product. Customer service in the store is ok if a bit slow, and they love circling things on your invoice. Be prepared to spend at least an hour here, even if you come in knowing what you want. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with BlindsToGo. Not only did they keep pushing my delivery, but they also delayed the installation of half of it due to missing parts. Both draperies purchased are the same fabric, one pushed to now (missing parts, not installed) and, to make matters worse, they've pushed the delivery of the second one to November. Despite having my full payment for months, there has been no resolution in sight. This level of disrespect for a customer's time is unacceptable. They don't let me cancel the orders nor give me a discount or proper answer. I will not be purchasing from them ever again and recommend you look for another place. read more

Customer service is horrible. We ordered 6 fabric blinds and they said we have to pick up the plastic handles at the store instead of them giving the handles to the installer. When I told her the installer said he would bring them, she changed her tune and said he would only bring six. I told her that the middle bedroom is a double shade and she said if we wanted one extra plastic handle, we have to drive one hour round trip to pick it up at the store. Since March 2023 I ordered blinds. Today is May 22, 2023 and they are installing them for the second time. It has taken 4 people out to my home to measure. The first set of blinds were installed the week of Easter all incorrectly. The installer was at my home for 7 hours. All put up incorrectly. The blinds had to be reordered because 3 people could not measure right. Finally the 4th person measured correctly. Customer service is awful. Mind you I had to pay off the balance before you set up the date to be installed. I had this room freshly painted and from installing and reinstalling I had holes in my walls additional holes. They wanted me to fix the problem after there installer damaged my walls. After going back and forth with them they said for me to find a painter to fix the problem..throwing the problem on the customer after they damaged my walls. Well today May 22, 2023 they send the original installer to my home to paint and fix the holes. He has the audacity to tell me he fix the holes. A Ten year old would have done a better job. He also said when I addressed the mounts which have three holes for 3 screws that it was not necessary as long as it was secure. I said there is a reason why there are 3 holes again he once to argue the matter. If you don't want aggravation and have all those things go wrong. Customer Service that is the Sales Manager of the store that does not put her customers as a priority especially with a issue like mine. Beware...I would not want anyone to go through this craziness and aggravation taking up all these hours and time from your busy schedule as they did to me. Over 12 hours of my time for 1 Room not including back and forth emails, phone calls and text messages. Stay away It does not seem that they care about there Customers.. they take your money and if something goes wrong they then place you on the back burner. Not a happy customer!!! We purchased 16 sets of blinds from Blind to Go in on Route 1 in North Attleboro, MA in 2013. We had the blinds measured and installed. There was a gap of about 10" in the three Master B/R blinds and 4" in the other two blinds for each of the two B/Rs, for a total of 7 blinds. During this pandemic, there is much more time spent at home and I decided to "attempt" to get this nuisance "fixed". I called the store and spoke to Tim who told me the blinds were guaranteed, looked up the 7-year-old order, and told me the blinds all should have been cut to ~70". Just bring them in and we will make it right (WHAT?) It should take approximately 5 days to complete. I went to the store and spoke to Tim who said there was a lot of paperwork involved and Kyle will do the paper and will email the receipts to me. When I got home there were seven emails from the store. Two days later I received a call saying my blinds were complete and were verified in the store that the length was correct. This is the first time I have written a yelp review and just feel I needed to let everyone know what great service I received at this Blinds To Go store. I couldn't be happier with how it all worked out. My wife and I went there one day to browse and we were told that for $40 we could have their independent contractor (Shawn) measure every window in our house. Score! Shawn came to our house a couple of days later and within 30mins had measured all of the windows. The following week we met with one of their design consultants (Margherita) and she spent an hour with us explaining all of the different options; we never felt pressured to buy anything. We founds blinds we liked, ordered them, they were in the store two days later, and three days after that Shawn came back to our house and for $15/window he installed all of the blinds. Score! I can't be anymore positive about our experience; everyone was professional, I feel like we got a good deal on the blinds, and Shawn did a great job installing them. Worst experience ! We had the entire house roller shades to be installed and order was worth more than 1000$. The installation was supposed to happen 2 days after placing the order in the store. The installer was no where to be found. The entire store only has 1 installer. He shows up 3 weeks after placing the order for installation. We've used blinds to go for several years for different projects. The latest project was for an office in our home. Of course my wife and I couldn't agree on a style, but after visiting blinds to go, we finally settled on a style that worked within the limitations of the Windows we had which had very shallow depth. The store had a great selection. Lots of styles to consider. I was really pleased & impressed with how helpful and informative the staff were. We picked a few styles for different rooms and all came out great. They allowed us to take many samples and some brackets home (with a deposit). They weren't pushy with us to make an order & let us take our time to decide. There was no push toward more expensive options and hey told us what would work and what wouldn't. They recommended faux wood rather than then real wood blinds because we have radiators that create moisture. I really appreciated that tip! It is something I would not have considered. We placed our order on a Sunday afternoon, and picked it up on Tuesday (amazing turnaround). We installed everything on a Tuesday night, surprisingly it only took us about an 1 hour for 9 windows. These people are totally unreliable. I tried to book an installation for cellular shades for my great room . I could not even get them to come to measure my windows. After leaving many messages Jeff did not even have the courtesy to call me back. At this point I wouldn't trust them in my house. They do installations for Lowes in Seekonk. I needed new blinds and verticals for replacements to what I had in my windows downstairs. I stopped into Blinds to Go in Attleboro and was very glad I did. The process of finding blinds can be kind of overwhelming because it can be an expensive mistake if not done correctly. Brenna was my sales person - she helped me pick the right blinds for me which was exciting in itself. But I had expected to be spending a lot more than the estimate I got so I ended up replacing all the blinds in the house - upstairs and down. They were installed this weekend. Attleboro Store: Terrible customer service. Bought an automated blind and the motor died. Called in September to get help. No response. Went into store and they said they would have someone contact me. Never happened. 3 more calls and I finally get a response that the Installer said I never called him back (never got a call to begin with). Finally got the guy to come out the week before Christmas and he took shade, motor and remote with him. Week later told I could come get every thing and they would schedule install. Opened box up, no remote. Have to wait a week for remote to come. No call from installer, figure I would instal. Get it hung and NO MOTOR! They send me a motor still no call from installer and nothing from the store manager. I open motor and it's a rechargeable motor with no way to recharge it and also no directions. Run away from these idiots go to Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

I bought shades here 2 years ago, after having them come out and measure. The shades never closed all the way, and I never did anything about it. I finally emailed the company and they told me to bring the shades in and they would send them back to factory. I brought them in Wednesday night and had them back 1st thing Friday morning. A lot of companies would have told me to get lost after 2 years, very happy they did not. We now have there shades in both of our kid's rooms, and they are great black out products read more

I would have saved 30% on top of the line Levelor on-line the day I left the store. I thought the price match would protect me from making a quick purchase. Seems that my purchase of their top of the line blind is no match for any other blind...and oh by the way their snap in installation is the only one of it's kind...go figure...so no match could be approved. I recently purchased (2) roller shades, Foliage style and was amazed as to their poor construction. Nothing like what I saw at their store. The shade fabric is cut uneven causing loose fibers to hang at the edge since their linear string was sheered off. After installation on day one I already have fibers separating from the pull down handle. I can't imagine these shades making it 6 months before I need to replace. A total waste of money!! read more
