The other company is experience, but does not explain exactly what they are ordering for you or I wouldn't have had the issue I had with the blinds/shutters. I have in my house. I started this project in March 2025 did not get any installation for over four months and was given all types of excuses from the owner David. He then discounted me some money off of My order because of how long it was taking used every excuse as a delay by the vendor delay by the VP of the vendor, etc.. The shutters that were installed were made to supposedly tilt both ways and is why they don't close completely, which I was never asked that question my other shutters in the rest of my house are not made that way and closed and block out lots of light. They also have framing from the top and the bottom that hide 11 inches of light coming into my house instead of just putting another slat in the shutter and making the top and the bottom only 3 to 3 1/2 inches. David then stated after I refuse to pay any more money because he said I didn't have to until they were fixed. He took over six weeks and still never communicated to me until I wrote a review and then that's when he again spoke up. Again, giving me excuses that he was waiting for the item to come in. This gentleman should not own a business because he gives most of his money away to fix the problems that he calls because he has lack of communication and doesn't properly order the product or higher the right subcontractors to help him out. This is definitely a buyer beware situation.

We got an amazing deal for 5 windows and selected the faux wood slats. When you pay your deposit (which we did on the spot), they order your custom blinds. About three weeks later we got a call for installation. They came out on a weekday morning ​and had those babies up in less than 40 minutes. I was so impressed with​ the quality and customer service. Their product can't be beaten​. Plenty of options! We are definitely going to use them again as we start to replace some of the metal blinds we have in other rooms of the house.

She has a great eye, and never fails if follow up visits are needed. With our first project in 2011, we had several blinds fail (not Cheryl's fault, but the manufacturer's). The issues were ALWAYS promptly taken care of, the blinds were sent back to be restrung!. We are waiting on a second project of motorized blinds. We did fabric selection, etc. one day with Cheryl, and the measurer was at our house the next morning. I was informed today when the blinds will ship. Total time from initial meeting with Cheryl to install will be 3-3 1/2 weeks!

Side note I had calls from two different people and two different numbers to follow up. I had no idea who I was supposed to call back so I decided to come to the store. I walked in and was not greeted. So I walked up to the counter. The man just stared at me so I said I'd like to look at kitchen flooring. He was so short and condescending to me. I watched as other customers got in depth explanations of the differences in styles and thickness etc. they were even taken to desks to talk. He didn't say follow me. He just turned and walked to the counter so I assumed I was to follow. I was taken back to the counter and in a scene from a used car salesman he pounded on the calculator for what felt like forever and then said oh it will be this much. It was such a high number from the estimate I had gotten from them and from other companies. I said can you explain the price break down. He seemed so mad that I asked. Then I tried to look at his paper and in the corner in small print was some calculations. He couldn't explain what he was using for the prices and blamed it all on tariffs. I said ok and started to walk away. He didn't care. He made a face. Actually the whole time I tried to engage him he would make a face and move his hands in a " I don't know what's going on fashion". It wasn't overt but it was there. I had measurements in to their system so clearly I was there to make a purchase. I just can't believe bow I was treated. I mean I stood and listen to the other salesman while this jerk went to start his complex math calculations and they were explaining thickness and differences. I learned a few things actually. From this guy I learned that my money can go elsewhere and I'm not buying a used car so I don't need to be jerked around like this. I really wanted to support local but after this I will not. I should go back and ask for the manager owner whoever but I don't think I'll waste my time.
