Hourigans Flooring We had all our floors replaced except…read morefor the living /dining areas. We were happy with results, except for the kitchen. It was a nightmare. 1st of all there was a gap between the flooring and the cubboards of around 1/2 to ¼ inch. The floor had to be lifted and reinstalled. Then two of the tiles lifted and again that potion of the flooring was reinstalled. Now after a few weeks, one of the tiles is again lifting All in all, we would not recommend Hourigans to any one. The workman ship by the installer was shoddy at best and he seemed to have more important issues on his mind. Because of Hourigans poor planing, the cost was much higher than the original estimate

Highly recommend his services!

Why were they in the book? While we did get a quote on a less preferred brand that at least had a few fabrics we liked reasonably well, being the picky type, we finally decided to go elsewhere. I have no problem recommending Budget Blinds. My spouse and I just didn't feel like continuing on to ordering after the disappointing issues with an out of date sample catalogue. I think they need to do a better job with their communications and customer service. Their estimator really tried though to make us happy.

Terrible product, no quality control, poor customer service. Disappointed all around…read more Process took 5 months in total. Blinds arrived in the wrong size for one window & damaged for the other. Valences were the wrong colour for one of the blinds. First installer had dirty hands - fingerprints on the blinds and the walls. Cords cut improperly. Second attempt, blinds were the right size but the visible mechanisms were the wrong colour. Third installation attempt had to be made to fix everything. 2nd installer was friendly and did his best. Not a surprise, the salesperson passed us off to someone else. While it appeared to be that person's job to deal with issues she didn't seem to care much, glossed over the problems and blamed it on the manufacturer. Zero follow up from anyone once the job was complete and they took the full remaining balance off my credit card. 10% off for the 3 times I had to be at home for the installs would have gone a long way. Would not recommend this business.
