We hired Floor Mart for a whole-home tile installation, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moredeeply disappointing. While the scope of the project was large, the execution lacked professionalism from the very beginning. The installation crew was clearly inexperienced--something the crew leader openly acknowledged, stating that several workers were still in training. Throughout the install, numerous baseboards, walls, personal property and existing finishes were damaged. Despite providing both photos and videos documenting these issues, the owner refused to take accountability. Instead, he became hostile, personally insulted me, and accused us of being unable to pay our bill--despite having received bank records showing our general contractor had been paid in full two months before the project even began. When we withheld final payment until repairs were made, the owner filed a lien on our home. He issued a partial credit for some of the damage but never took full responsibility. Once paid, he refused to complete the remaining punch list items--despite previously agreeing to do so in writing. Contrary to the owner's public response to my original review on google, the job was not completed. My husband and I had to finish grouting, repairing damage, and repainting--tasks that were Floor Mart's responsibility. Claims that all punch list items were resolved before payment are false, and I have timestamped written communication confirming the owner's refusal to finish the work. The accusation that I was abusive or made derogatory comments toward the crew is categorically false. I was direct in addressing the quality issues. For example, many baseboards were installed damaged. At my husband's request (he was working for our GC at the time), I marked damaged baseboards with small check marks using a Sharpie to indicate which ones needed to be replaced. No marks were ever made on the flooring. One mark was made on the wall to identify a large hole the crew created during demo--damage we later had to patch ourselves. Floor Mart claimed they sent a painting crew to cover these marks, but that's inaccurate. The painting crew was sent to clean up orange caulk lines, dirt, and grease left by the crew--not to cover Sharpie marks. Had all the damaged baseboards been replaced, the sharpie marks would've been gone. There were no other subcontractors present during this project; Floor Mart's crew was the only one on-site. Any claim that other subs had issues with me is categorically false. Our general contractor--a close family friend--has never made derogatory remarks about me or my mental health and neither has my husband who was equally disappointed in this experience. That accusation is a defamatory and dishonest attempt to discredit a legitimate complaint. To be clear: I have written, time-stamped communication, including messages with the sales rep (who was great), that fully support everything written here. This job did not go south until the owner got involved. The photos I've attached show real, unresolved damage and poor craftsmanship--not misleading "extreme close-ups." I'm writing this review to help others avoid the stress, cost, and conflict we experienced. If you're considering Floor Mart, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Pay close attention to how he responds to this review and to others with negative criticisms of the business.

After receiving several quotes I went with this company because they told me they could recess the header in the soffits. That turned out to be false. I reluctantly moved forward with the project as hurricane season was fast approaching. They did the initial install on 08/25/25. It was horrible. They attempted to install them tight to the soffits and wound up bending the headers. I was then told that they would replace the covers. They came back several weeks later with new covers. The result was exactly the same. Several more weeks passed and they came back, removed and lowered the units. while this did correct the warping I now have a big ugly gap between the header and the soffits. Additionally one of the shutters is making a loud popping noise. The other item is the missing snap covers for the vertical supports. They have tried to install these twice without success. We're going on a year since I initially ordered these shutters. Support covers are still missing and I fear that the one shutter is going to soon fail. It's evident that the unit was warped during the initial install. One other item is that the final inspection was never completed per the city website. I've made countless phone calls to the company. They never return my calls. I've also sent numerous text messages to the owner Waylon. Again, he never responds. It's clear that he has no interest in customer satisfaction. It's been almost a year and the job is still not complete. Do yourself a favor and go with Storm Smart or anyone else.

The noise level in my house has lessened which is great. It took some time to get them, but Joe LeLoup the owner always got back to me almost immediately, when ever I had a question. From start to finish, it was a smooth transition! Loved my sales girl, the install guys, and of course the owner! The windows are great, and about 8 months after install I had a tough time getting the windows open, as they are heavy and i am not that strong. Joe sent out his most experienced installer Randy and he fixed everything for me. He continued to work on it until I felt they were easy to open. I refer him to all of my friends or anyone needing windows or Lanai doors etc. Joe has been great! Even when I was a pain! LOL I highly recommend them, as they are the most honest, professional window company in SW FL. And, if you live in Florida, you know that is very hard to find! Now feel very safe in my home with the new windows and lanai doors. Huge Thank you to Joe and his team! JoAnn

Longer story: Our house is 2000 sq feet there are a total of 10 standard windows, 3 small bay windows, and 6 sliding glass panels. Not a huge job. Total cost just over $50K. We signed August 2022 (before Hurricane Ian) and paid the deposit. Hadn't heard from them so 6 months later called to see the status. Turns out with a divorce in the company and turn over we were forgotten about and the windows weren't ordered because no one from Window Geeks contacted our HOA back. So now we were going to be backed up with Hurricane Ian delays. July 2023 windows arrive for install in Sept should take 4-5 days. First they showed up unannounced while we were out of town to install in July but returned in Sept. One installer showed up instead of two. One window was missing. After 1.5 weeks 9 windows installed but they decided they couldn't all of a sudden install the bay windows. One slider had been damaged so wouldn't open so they ordered a replacement. Took a month of back and forth to find out the house bracing was good and bay windows installed Oct 2023. During this time I called to say how unhappy we were and the manager called my wife to yell at her because I complained about him. Took them months to admit they broke the missing window when they first arrived but forgot to reorder it. Finally Feb 2024 the missing window was installed. Nov 2024 the damaged slider was replaced. I spoke with the owner about how outrageous our experience was and he offered a 10% discount. Which by the way was less than our original cost was going to be. When they forgot to order the windows originally standards changed so we had to purchase higher rated/more expensive windows. Also originally we were going to do 0% financing through the company. Nov 2024 that was no longer an option. So his 10% discount didn't even add up to the savings we were going to have. Absolute horrible experience.
