I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by. The wrap was a little salty for my taste, with the dressing and the cheese a little overpowering and the chicken seasoned well. The employees were nice and patient, and I felt relaxed in this casual and calm environment. I'm only writing to give Touch of Flavor their flowers…read more You see, I've been pretty disappointed lately by a number of restaurants calling their fish CATFISH when it is actually Swai (technically known as Basa). It looks extremely similar to American catfish, but it's an entirely different species native to Vietnam. And while its looks may deceive you, its taste will not IF you are a true lover of catfish. So why give Touch of Flavor flowers? Well, they are only one of two restaurants I've encountered that stated upfront their fish is Swai and don't try to fool you into believing you are being served American catfish. I greatly appreciated the forewarning and decided to give their Swai a try anyway. The fish was cooked nicely and seasoned well, but I'm still not a fan because Swai itself lacks flavor and in my opinion tastes watery. But for their honestly I'm rounding my overall rating up. This location is a spin-off sister restaurant to the extremely popular FLAVOR RICH restaurant in Suwanee, GA. I've eaten there a dozen or more times and have never had a bad meal, so this location came with built-in credentials. That being said, I'm not sure if I would return. The mac n' cheese I ordered needed another 10-15 minutes or so in the oven. It was very liquidy, but still good. The candied yams and fried shrimp were also good, but the fried pork chop was just okay. I was told it was amazing, but I didn't find that to be accurate. [ SERVICE / ATMOSPHERE ] They seemed to be a little busy for just two people to manage, but they got the job done. Still it was a longer than expected wait for the food.
