I was told by the owner that his store doesn't warranty Craftsman products. When I asked why not, he alleged that he would be out of business in a week if he did and that he loses money to ship broken tools to Craftsman. He said I would have to drive 15 miles to the Lowes store in Wauwatosa to get a replacement. This greedy shyster is more than happy to sell Craftsman products all day long for profit but won't do the mandatory support of the product after the sale. They're the worst and they won't see another dime from me!

There was no upsell, and she was able to show the clusters of price ranges in their very large showroom so we could avoid the oh my gosh level of pricing. Currently, the best deal by far for all brass is Astor Marris but prices are fluctuating dramatically differently by brand. Their lowest price kitchen and bathroom pulls are not cheaply made products, they start at good, lots of intermediate better, and a startling selection for those for whom money is no object. We also got some work gloves and a smoke detector for good prices (better than Amazon).

I've started shopping at Home Depot more often than I have in the past. My in-store experiences have generally been excellent. What I'm reviewing here, however, is a recent online order. I ordered a couple of closet cabinets for home delivery. Fortunately, I was home when they arrived and had a chance to inspect the boxes before accepting them. I couldn't believe they had been loaded onto the truck in that condition. The boxes were badly damaged and appeared to have either been mishandled or previously returned. I mentioned it to the delivery driver, who I don't believe was a Home Depot employee. Unfortunately, there wasn't much he could do beyond shrugging his shoulders. After opening the boxes, I found that the cabinets were usable. Since I planned to modify them anyway, I was able to cut away the damaged portions without affecting my project. In the end, I decided to keep them. Still, customers should be able to expect that items purchased as new arrive in new condition. Shipping damaged merchandise, especially when the damage is obvious before it ever leaves the warehouse, isn't the level of quality I'd expect from Home Depot. I hope this is the exception rather than the rule, because my overall experiences with Home Depot have been very positive.

A guarantee that I would get it the same day by 8pm. Never came so called (the order was suppose to be delivered by stupid Uber/Door Dash), then the store said ok by next morning from 630 till 10am...never came. So called again...guess the order was processed to the store but the dumb uber/door dash never picked it up. So went to the falls location then and canceled the order ($250 order canceled). Even said maybe use a service instead of Uber/ door dash cause if not wanting to work the order will never be picked up. Store had nothing to say!!!!!

The issue is that the space is small which makes it difficult to see everything as its all crammed in, floor to ceiling. The switch plates we had come to see were hung about 6' above the floor making it hard to see details. Honestly, it was just overwhelming and we soon gave up. Staff at this location was really helpful - we were greeted immediately and asked if they could help us find something. I appreciate that. Also, this gallery is connected to the main hardware store so you can get several errands done at once.

Noah helped us compare carpet and laminate flooring and provided us with a plethora of good information, knowing all the time that we were comparing pricing with a local Carpet Dealer as well as another Big Box store. We ended up obtaining our carpet elsewhere due to a specific type we were looking for, BUT because of Noah's customer service we purchased everything else for our remodel from Menards - a store that is out of our way compared to other Big Box home improvement stores. We did purchase Vinyl Laminate flooring with Noah's help for around a basement kitchenette. Next was cabinets, where we met Ted (who seems to always be there). Ted worked with me to search through cabinets while my wife was on her way with kids (count them 4 under the age of 5) in tow. When my wife finally arrived Ted and I had a game plan and only need a little input and the final stamp of approval from my wife. My 4 and 2 year old were thirsty while we were finishing our order, so rather than sending us to the water fountain at the front of the store, Ted pulls out his lunch box and proceeds to grab one of his two (unopened and sealed) bottles of water and hands it over to our kids with our approval. WOW!!! That's above and beyond. Since then I have visited Ted for Cabinet accessories and countertops - and the same GREAT service each time without fail.
