While relaxing by the pool to get a couple of hours of me time after a few long days I was serviced very well by the folks at this restaurant who attended to my needs. I tried the nachos with extra Carne Asada, and they definitely packed it on. I was a little surprised to be honest because typically when you have nachos at these kinds of establishments, the food and toppings are right up top right here. It was a bit layered in which really helped and didn't take away from the crispiness of the tortilla chips. They were well salted and had great flavor. They even gave me water and Coke as I needed it and delivered to a great level really added to beyond beyond and vibes of being right by the pool on a warm winter day which really helped someone coming from Boston after a polar vortex storm. read more

I waited at the hostess stand for a while before a bus boy said someone would be with me soon. I was sat outside(no umbrella). I guess my waitress was overwhelmed she stopped by twice saying she would take my order shortly. The wings were ok and the chips and salsa were above average. If you want to sit down and enjoy a sunny hot day, this would be the restaurant to pick at the Ritz-Carlton. We got seated right away and the pace of the meal was good. Our server was not great, since he took a while to come to our table, spilled ice on our table, did not refill our water and forgot to bring the condiments we asked. As for the food, it is overpriced but that is what you expect while dining at a high end hotel. We ordered the classic burger with caesar salad, the churrasco quesadilla, the classic burger with fries and a pitcher of farm fresh sangria. I was the only one that enjoyed the meal and the sangria. My burger was cooked well and the caesar salad even though it was small had a good dressing and good parmesan cheese. The sangria was light, refreshing and not overly sweet. This is a pool bar type setting. Outside seating that's under a roof. The service was very good, from the time you're greeted to the time you get the bill. The food was good, nothing great or had the wow factor though. Now the portions are something to write about. I ordered chicken Tenders and fries. The fries, by the way, are considered a side order. Extra money. They bought me out maybe 8 or 9 huge tenders! I mean it was enough for 2 people easily. The fries came in a large bowl, huge portion as well. 5 stars for quantity. The drinks were good, not a big selection on the menu, but I assume you can ask for a different drink made special. It's the Ritz-Carlton so expect everything to be overpriced. An order of chicken tenders, wings, 2 orders of fries, 2 drinks cost 135.00. Oh and they add 18% tip automatically to your bill, so be mindful of that. read more

Stopped by right around opening time at 11 and met with friendly service. Erica was fantastic! It was a hot summer day but the seating was shaded which made it bearable. I loved the overall look of the place with pretty blue walls and matching color scheme of the furniture. We had free drink cards issued by the ritz and we were able to order drinks beyond the monetary stipulation- Erica was super patient and gave us great recommendations as we thought through our options. Ended up picking a mango mojito (delish), virgin strawberry mojito (equally yum and super sweet), and sangria (made with fresh fruit from the farm on site). The chips and salsa were shockingly my favorite thing- there was something about the salsa flavor I couldn't quite figure out but I wanted to keep eating. The wings were sweet and pretty big in size. The fish tacos would have been better with more sauce other than salsa. The salad was flavorful but also something I felt I could replicate at home. Easy 5 star. The staff here are all incredible. Very attentive and friendly. The food from Bleu is impressive! Perhaps the best pool side kitchen experience ever. I had the tropical fish tacos, and they were so bland. And the tortillas were tough! My husband got the wings, which were much better. For some reason, they had a limited menu for the days that I was there. I didn't realize this until I was seated, which was a bummer (the online menu had a quesadilla on it, which is what I really wanted). The service was decent, and they were able to accommodate my husband's dietary restrictions. Overall, I would rather trek to Knife Burger given the quality, high price and limited offerings at Bleu. read more

Best fish tacos I've ever had! You get an order of 3 grilled Mahi Mahi tacos, with red onions, cilantro and chopped mango. Just out of this world delicious! I couldn't finish all three, so I took one to go and had it for lunch the next day. I think it was even better, if that's possible. Beautiful location overlooking the lake and golf course. Lots of tropical plants and birds surrounding the restaurant. Great service. A lovely meal! read more

Service was terrible especially for a Ritz! I expected the service to be at the same level as the Santa Barbara Ritz...sadly it was not. We waited 15-20 minutes while servers just walked past us never acknowledging us. It was absolutely crazy! My husband finally went up to someone who said they'd send someone over. After 5 more minutes and nobody showing up we left went back to Highball where we were greeted right away. Won't be back! read more

Grabbed lunch here on our first day in Orlando. It was exactly what we were looking for....outdoor seating in this beautiful Florida afternoon and delicious food. I highly recommend the black bean and quinoa burger for the non-meat eaters!! My husband had a fresh grouper sandwich which looked wonderful! The house made chips are delicious (I "upgraded" to the fries and wished I hadn't). The view is great and the food is fresh and delicious...what more could you ask for! Bleu is the poolside restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Orlando. We changed and went down to the pool as soon as we checked in. A waitress promptly took our order and had our food and drinks out quickly. I ordered some sort of watermelon drink, the bartender knew what they were doing. Fish tacos were a bit on the small side, which is expected poolside and we intended it to just be a snack. I visited Bleu last fall while staying at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes during a work trip in Orlando. Bleu is poolside al fresco dining, and my firm had scheduled a private dining event for our group, so we got to try lots of menu items; including the usual poolside menu fare such as chicken tenders, nachos, and chips and salsa and guacamole. We also drank tons of Frozen Drinks, including their Orange Margarita, Frosé, Goombay Smash, and CoCo Island. My favorites were the Frosé and Orange Margarita. We even ended up getting several pitchers of each during our day spent at the pool. If you're staying at this location of The Ritz I highly recommend spending some time at Bleu. The service is excellent and the drinks and food are the perfect thing for a day spent relaxing by the pool! read more

It was raining so tables were limited (which is fine...they can't control the weather), but after we did sit nobody came to our table. I had to go get the menus and after another 5 minutes someone finally came over. Then 2 other tables that sat after us got their food before us and when our food did come out it was cold (which they did take care of so I appreciate that the waiter recognized this and handled it). I am an Orlando resident who went to the Ritz Carlton for a holiday weekend. The majority of the weekend was enjoyable. The pool restaurant, however, was not. One particular employee, who I believe is a manager of some sort, was quite unpleasant. Her name tag said her name was Tina. We had a very simple problem that didn't even require manager intervention. Our waiter could've solved it. But she happened to walk by and ask if everything was OK, so we mentioned it. Once she realized that we had a problem, and we weren't going to say, "Everything is fine, " her whole demeanor changed. She wouldn't listen - she kept interrupting, then left without helping. Why did she ask if everything was OK, if she didn't really want to know? She definitely doesn't understand the concept of ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen.
