This was my second time coming here and I will never be coming here AGAIN!…read more Carol did not honor my appointment that I had scheduled AHEAD of time. My appointment was at 4pm and walked in at 3:53pm. Once I arrived, Carol told me it would just be a few minutes. However, she had just sat another girl at her station. I was very patient waiting on Carol but once 4:30pm hit, I asked Carol how much longer it would take because I literally had an appointment at 4pm. Her reply was "Oh yeah sorry but she came first" even though I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! I was so extremely annoyed. In my eyes, that was unprofessional. I would have preferred for Carol to be honest and turn away my appointment from the very beginning rather than have me wait. And waiting was not the issue, it was the principle of Carol not honoring my appointment. I got there on time, I wasn't late, so Carol could've taken me in first. But oh well, they lost my business! This negative experience led me to find a new nail salon who honor my business/appointments and they do an amazing job.

What I have an issue with is their communication. I had an appointment booked today and even received a email to confirm 2 days before which I responded to immediately. To my surprise, when I show up to my appointment, the receptionist tells me the sugarist wasn't there and they tried to call me to reschedule my appointment. I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them. The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

I normally don't leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with @lashedoutbymellyy because…read morethis was my first time ever getting lashes done and I was really disappointed with the outcome. I booked a wispy set and specifically asked for a soft wispy cat-eye look. mind you i did tell her dark but me thinking she was going to make them dark at the ends for the cat eye and the spikes , but I didn't expect BOLD AND SUPER BLACK. Before the appointment, I showed multiple reference pictures and was hoping that she would understand that I have lighter/feminine features and didn't want anything super dark or heavy. Although the lashes themselves were not badly done, they looked nothing like what I requested. I ended up with a very bold mega volume look that did not flatter my face at all. It completely changed my appearance in a way I wasn't comfortable with. I reached out respectfully afterward and explained that they were too bold and not what I asked for, especially since this was my first lash experience. I asked if she could accommodate me with a removal or some kind of correction, but I was told I would have to pay again for both the removal and a new set. For $120, I expected better communication and a result closer to the references I provided. If you like very bold/full lash styles, her work may work for you, but if you want a softer wispy cat-eye look, I would be cautious and make sure you discuss it very thoroughly beforehand.
