I have been going to Christina since I was 8 years and I could not trust or love her more. I will share this story and photos just to show her magical abilities and serious understanding of hair and hair treatments. I moved from Chicago to New York City a few years ago and was going on a last minute vacation for which I wanted to touch up my highlights. For reference I am a brunette and Christina has given me this beautiful balayage/ lighter pieces framing my face and I just needed to touch up these highlights. Let me reiterate... HIGHLIGHTS. Long story short I walked out of my nyc appointment fully blonde. Not one strand of brown hair left on my head. Like Britney spears blonde circa 2000. It was trash. I immediately flew home to Christina. Before even telling my family I was coming into town I made sure Christina was available. She worked her magic ...after laughing and getting over the horror that was my hair. But she completely transformed my hair back, which not only shows that she is good at her job but truly understands the process of the treatments and how to appropriately use which colors /treatments to obtain the best results. All in all, Christina is amazing and she will make your hair goals come true.

I've visited Tricoci Spa in Naperville, and unfortunately, the experience leaves much to be…read moredesired. For a business that positions itself as a spa, I expected a more elevated, relaxing atmosphere. Instead, the space feels somewhat dated and run-down and could definitely benefit from some updates. When I visit a spa, I'm looking for an experience that feels luxurious, welcoming, and well-maintained, and this location just doesn't deliver that. The customer service at the front desk could also use some improvement. The ladies haven't been particularly warm or welcoming during my visits, which makes a difference when you're coming somewhere to relax and enjoy a little self-care. At this point, I only visit for underarm waxing services. I wouldn't consider this location for a full spa day or a more indulgent experience. Go to the Oak Brook location. It is 10x better! Overall, there's definitely room for improvement, particularly with the atmosphere and customer service. A spa experience should feel special from the moment you walk through the door, and unfortunately, this one falls short.

Instead of just a silver/grey color, I also wanted my hair to have some dimensions to it so that it will have a more natural look when it grows out. There were so many different colors mixed in that I couldn't keep track of, but the resulting look allowed my grey/silver hair to reflect other subtle colors under different lighting. It is usually very hard to go from black to a lighter color but Ms. Chong also did a great job in being transparent and explaining the process to me and took care of me well!

I was then refunded and told, "To be very clear, Dira wants to and loves doing precision cuts. She is one of the best. We're sorry you were not a fit."
