After a pretty hard day at work in Berlin I just wanted to come back to the hotel with my wife and mellow out. We need dinner of course though. So across the street so close that we could see it from our hotel window, I spotted Blend and looked it up. Their website describes this place as a snapshot of foods from all around the world. Well that intrigues us because we're adventurous eaters!
I loved the architecture and decor of the place. The high ceilings gave you the feeling of space and the open-floor concept. Huge fan. The huge zebra centerpiece (if you look at it the correct way) was also such a cool touch since it's the restaurant's logo.
Our server was awesome. She was sweet, funny, spoke great English and made sure that we had everything that we needed.

Damn-near got full off the bread before any appetizers showed up. My celery pastrami was delicious and very unique! And for my main course I went with their signature dish a filet mignon with miso jus, roasted onions, tomatoes and served with fries. I really liked this and would certainly come back for it.
All in all, this place was cool! Would I spin the block for it? Unlikely, but I do recommend you giving them a chance if you're in the area and don't feel like walking too far from the InterContinental Berlin... read more
