I am so grateful for the care and compassion they showed me. It was my first experience with acupuncture and its certainly not what they depict on TV (wink wink). My initial meeting was a consultation where they took a history and we just chatted. It was like a having a warm fuzzy tea session, very different from my doctors office. Judith and Kim devised a protocol based plan for the next few weeks and months. They were extremely knowledgeable about IVF. The actual treatments were painless and very relaxing. I basically had lovely naps. End result was positive. Highly highly recommend.

Acupuncture for All Decatur was a godsend. They accept walk-ins which is fantastic when you aren't…read moreable to wait until next week for an appointment. I'd called two other acupuncture clinics, and they couldn't take me until the following week. That's not what you want to hear when you just want some relief ASAP. Also, Acupuncture for All Decatur is a community clinic which makes costs significantly lower; one place I contacted charged $200 for an initial visit. Each treatment's fee is on a sliding scale, $35-55. You can also purchase a package of 4 visits for $120, cash or check, with credit card online being an added fee. With the community clinic model, there are four beds in one room meaning you can be treated at the same time along with up to three other people. There's soothing new age music playing in the background, but you can still hear talking within the room and sometimes from adjacent rooms. I like bringing earplugs to tune out any chatter. Dr. Judy Yu can seem a little no nonsense, but she puts your health first and genuinely wants you to get better. Dr. Judy has over 30 years of acupuncture experience, and she is happy to answer any questions you may have. Besides acupuncture, other treatment options available include cupping and herbs. There are two other acupuncturists who work at Acupuncture for All Decatur. You can book online with any one of the three. Parking can be a struggle in downtown Decatur, but there are some reserved spaces in the parking lot behind the building. Look for the spaces marked reserved for 235 East Ponce. So grateful to have Acupuncture for All Decatur as a healthcare resource!

I could open it much wider without it catching, and the clicking was almost totally gone! I cannot tell you how excited I was :-) Dr. Lin used acupuncture needles and jaw exercises in his office to achieve this; neither was painful. I know I'll have to continue "maintenance" visits if I want to keep these results (no such thing as a one-time miracle cure), but all things considered it is COMPLETELY worth it. Dr. Lin is very affordable (comparatively), does excellent work, and is thoughtful and conscientious. I'm so glad I decided to go to him for treatment! I am incredibly thankful this practice exists. Less than a third of the cost of most acupuncture clinics, and really the group treatment room is no big deal (I was nervous at first). Practitioners are highly skilled and the whole system runs smoothly. Highly recommend.

The decor is nice and definitely helps you get comfortable. This review is for Josh and the deep tissue massage. The Positives: I have had numerous deep tissue massages, but Josh goes deeper than anyone I have ever encountered before. It is amazing how deeply he can go with just his fingers without resorting to elbows. Since he goes so deep, be prepared for some pain. However, take his advice, drink a lot of water and you will feel amazing after. In addition, unlike many other therapists where they bill by the hour, Josh doesn't start the clock until he starts work so you get the full hour instead of just 45 minutes. The Negatives: Josh is a real professional, if you need to be adjusted or work needs to be done in order to fix your muscles, he will go the extra mile to make sure that your body will be in the best condition it can be. In doing that, there is some pain involved, but it is worth it for the amazingly relaxed feeling you get afterwards.

I would have to agree with that. A session with Josh is not a day at the Spa. Josh is serious about what he does and what he does is treat your issues. Josh is not exactly a massage therapist, he is a holistic healer. He has treated me with a combination of deep tissue massage acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies. At times there is a lot of pain of pain involved. People who will benefit from a session with Josh are people with serious or chronic issues. I have chronic back, shoulder and neck pain. I have gotten a lot of relief from Josh's treatment
