The owner was able to find me a refrigerator in stock that was in my price range. His son was able to schedule delivery with removal of the old one on Monday. I never would have gotten one that fast from anyone else! The delivery arrived right on time, and they were able to get a big, bulky unit out of a small space in a kind and friendly manner. The showroom is a time warp, but the family-run business is great and they are all so sweet. I really wish they had prices on the appliances though. For just an extra $140 or so, they came out and installed the new dishwasher and took away the old.

Excellent customer service still exists-- at Blodgett! At…read morethe suggestion of our local hardware store, I headed to Blodgett for some landscaping materials. I walked in overwhelmed by my many options and the math I thought I'd need to do to figure it out. The staff at Blodgett greeted me instantly and put to rest my anxiety. I browsed the beautiful outdoor area and greenhouses and came back into the store with a rough idea of what I needed. From there the staff took over: helping me to calculate how much dirt and stone I'd need; giving me suggestions for how to save time and money on my project; setting up delivery. Four days later, right at the time I asked for it, the stone and dirt were delivered and it was just the right amount. I would send anyone to Blodgett for their landscaping needs.

It has that old-school, neighborhood hardware store feel that's getting hard to find these days.
