Ordered a large sausage pizza last night and it was bad. Once, one of my favorite pizzas around, now...Pizza Hut is a better option.

A great place to find local beer in the suburbs. The wings and pizza kick asd too! They do two beer festivals a year, the summer and winter solstice. read more

Awesome food, good deals, great machines & tvs. Good place for live music or to watch a sporting event. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Good atmosphere, tasty made to order food and nice adventurous beer list. I would go again but maybe there could be more O'Douls in stock other then the ONE and only that I ordered then couldn't order another and at least one TV streaming something other then sports lol.. I'm pretty sure a screw driver is the easiest drink on earth to make, but apparently that's not the case for this place. Gross drink, politely asked to replace it with a higher priced drink, I was unaware of the price difference, but I was hoping to get it in lieu of the horrible excuse for a vodka/oj, but was told "well you ordered it", (the vodka/oj) so I had to also pay for a suspiciously tomatoe-y Bloody Mary. Seriously? Didn't want to start a fight, all the precious regulars were staring, trying to enjoy my day out. So I paid for it. There were parties going on, I would have been mortified if someone at my party was given a drink like that and treated like I was. F*** this place, marcottes is down the street and way better, don't waste your time in this sunless dump. read more

It's nice to have such a great neighborhood bar/grill that truly appreciates the community. The food is great and affordable.. 1/2 price pizzas on Monday - delicious wraps and burgers... Great local and micro brewed beers available.. Live music on the weekends.. This place has been a favorite of ours for years. They always help out local organizations (I have been a member of many)... The semi-private room is great for meetings and/or parties. Little or no notice is needed (although they probably don't want me to write that), and they have always gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my group. The service is most always great, and the few times that it hasn't been top notch, it's been crazy busy and they've apologized and still managed to take care of us. This afternoon my wife took a group of 25 people in with no prior notice.. Their server was Terry, and she was phenomenal. The owner also came over and personally thanked my wife and her friends for coming in. He extended the 1/2 price pizza deal to them even though it was before 4pm. Well done. They get it. They understand how to keep people coming back. It's such a simple formula that so many owners just don't comprehend. Offer a consistently good product. Make sure you have good service and take care of the community that your business is located in.. Simple. Well done Blarney Stone. You've earned my business, and will continue to get it. I hadn't been here in a few years but made my triumphant return last night. Now i remember why i like this place. this pub has a great set-up. The bar is in the middle, giving patrons many spots to come up to get a drink. The place is very roomy too. There is a cozy area with a fireplace and a stage for bands. They definitely increased their beer selection since the last time i was here too. I don't live on the South Side anymore but i hope i find a way to hit the Blarney Stone every now and then. read more

One of my favorite bars in Oak Forest. Great drink specials, and typically the staff is friendly. If you went there for the first time the day of the Oak Forest Fleadh/Pub Crawl, please go back some other time! That place was a mess that day, and should definitely not be judged based on the amount of traffic that went in and out of Blarney! The only downer is that there is typically a cover on Saturday nights when they have live music. Not a huge issue, but if the band is a disappointment, then I feel like I just wasted $5. Definitely a great, casual place to meet with friends. read more

1st it took over 15 minutes for anyone to notice we were at the table. There were six of us the server bought us silverware for five a pitcher of water with 5 cups and five plates for our appetizers. Food was good BUT took well over an hour to get, also had to tell the 3rd server (that was appointed to us because the 1st one got sat in other room) that we had ordered food, my sister order an absolute drink , on her 2nd one she was told they don't have absolute that the bartender probably gave her Tito's which she is allergic to. We were asked for a credit card halfway through our meal by the third server that took our table, I understand that places do ask for a credit card but not halfway through your meal and then charge the credit card when we asked for our check never asked us if we wanted to charge it to that card, we were going to pay cash. The table next to us had the bouncer come out and yelled at him because he complained the service was terrible. The girl across the way who said she was the owners daughter,yelled across the way at us (I think she was on something) . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! read more

We've had many family parties here over the years and always had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, our last was a huge disappointment. Our children hosted a party for my husband, we had 40 guests with the deluxe pizza package. They brought out 5 pizzas and a small bowl of salad; all was gone before our last guests got their food. We then had to wait a good 40 minutes before the next round of pizza's came out. The waiter told me it was our fault because we didn't tell him we wanted more. As I said earlier, we've had multiple parties here in the past. NEVER before, were we in charge of making sure the pitchers of pop were full or had to order additional pizza's. He (the waiter) then told us he had to charge us $2 additional per head because we were going over our 2 hour limit; this, after the manager told me there was not another party booked and we could have the room as long as we wanted, altho, they would have to open it to others. So...my children were charged for 45 people altho there were only 40. My children were charged an additional $2 per person at 45 people and, then, he (the waiter) gave them plates and a knife to serve the cake we were told would be plated for us. I feel so bad for my kids, I hate to see them being taken advantage of. We won't be back. Ever read more

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly and makes great drink recommendations. It's a laid back atmosphere, both inside and outside. It's never overcrowded, but never too lite on a crowd either. read more

My SO and I came here a few Sundays this past month for some Bears games. I wasn't up for the whole "all you can drink and food" deals that a lot of bars were offering and the craziness, I guess I'm just getting old lol. This place was nice to go to for the game. They had a good food spread and we also had the pizza which was very good. The service was great whether we sat at a table or the bar. The crowd was all ages. Used the Groupon (dollar day) for a $1 14" pizza with 1 topping. I got 1/2 sausage and 1/2 pepperoni. I wasn't expecting much for the $1 especially since it's a bar, but I was shocked at how good it was. Excellent pizza. Unfortunately, the prices are pretty high without a coupon. I felt sorry for the regular customers picking up pizzas at full price when a bunch of new customers were walking in with the $1 Groupons. It was a far drive, but if I'm in the area and in the mood for pizza this is definitely what I'm going to get! read more

I love this bar! This is my favorite local bar to venture to on any given night. They have a huge selection of draft and craft beers, and their food is a hidden gem! Everything on the menu Is a win, but their pizza is top notch and the buffalo wings are outta this world! The staff is always pleasant, and they are constantly having events and great sports leagues! This may not be the best for everybody on a busy friday or saturday night, due to it gets pretty busy with a good size early twenties crowd. So if that's not your scene check it out on a week night or come in for dinner on the weekends. With great daily food and drink specials, you're sure to have a good time! Went for the first time last night to celebrate a birthday with husband and couple friends. Always heard great things but upon arrival I noticed for a bar it's awfully bright in there for 11:30pm. It was really bright then paid a $5 cover because there was a band ( band was really ) but about 25 min later a group of young men came in must have known the girl and she didn't charge them $5... we waited over 10 min to even get noticed by the 3 bar tenders and it wasn't busy at all lots of spaces at the bar. Then when my drink was gone waited about another 20 min to get noticed before I had to wave hands for anyone one to notice us... everyone around us were being waited on before drinks even were gone. So I'm guessing it is a locals only bar but too bad could have had some good patrons here since I could walk from my home. I will never be back read more

Blarney Stone has become my favorite place of choice. I choose to go nowhere else, as this establishment has been my family's favorite place to eat and drink for years now. Any day of the week you will find a great special. The pizza is excellent, and my favorite would have to be the Hot Wings, I do know they use thier own home made recipe for the sauce, and its the best hidden secret about the place. Garlic Crisper, if you've never heard of it, TRY IT! It is one of Blarney's other hidden secrets, and everyone who I have had try it, raves about it. Night Life is always great, They have tons of beers on draft, and recently just added some 3 Floyds products which is a rarity out this way. It seems as if the owners are always looking to better the place in some way, and I think this is why "the Stone" has always attracted such a great crowd. This is the place to be when Oak Forest has it's annual "Fleadh" for St.Patricks day, T-Spell runs a very great adult sports league with softball, kickball, volleyball, flag football, and dodgeball. It is a great place to eat as they have a very extensive menu, and a great place for drinks, and to meet with others. I give Blarney 5 stars, and my business for years to come. read more

The parking is ample if you get there early. Good luck trying to park after 8:00 on a Friday or Saturday. The food is decent but expensive for bar food. The waitresses are usually excellent. The daytime bartender J gives you the evil eye if don't tip but she'll never buy you a beer. She only buys drinks for her regular drunks that belong to her little clique. read more

There is NEVER an excuse to speak to a customer in a loud, hostile voice like that. Not ever. That pretty much sums up my most recent, and FINAL, visit to Blarney Stone. I have been here five times, and only twice was the service good. There are too many good craft beer bars and breweries in the area to put up with this kind of service. Tribes and Hailstorm in Tinley Park just to name a couple. I noticed that if you are a local and the Bartenders know you, you get great service, but if not, you get treated as if you are not even there much of the time. Even when there are only a half dozen people in the entire bar, I have had LONG waits before I was asked if I wanted anything to eat or drink. If the food wasn't so good, I would not have come back as many times as I did, but many of the menu items are very good. The craft beer selection is also very good most of the time. But neither of these things will bring me back after the snotty bartender I had this last time. There is no excuse for that kind of attitude towards a paying customer. read more

We have been Going there for years. Today, New Years eve, I was so disappointed. The Fries and Tots were so over cooked that they were practically gutted... They also said that they were getting rid of stuff off the menu but proceeded to give us the bottom of the barrel. I can't believe they said they were out of a specific kind of beer on NEW YEARS EVE!! It was such a waste of money and I will NEVER go back again. I really like this pub. My friend and me went on a Thursday. It wasn't busy but it had a nice atmosphere. The best part of this pub they had Not Your Fathers Root Beer on tab. If you had the beer bottle it's okay but has a weird after taste. On tab it's delicious no after taste and 10% alcohol. Main reason we came to this pub. Bartenders are nice and friendly read more

Wish I could rate this zero stars. Wanted to go in eat a meal and get a couple beers, however was stopped by some old lady, trying to make me pay a cover to listen to a band I don't want to hear, which is basically a shake down to torched your patrons by making them listen to a band they don't want to hear and shake you down for extra money! Needless to say, I'm not donating money to a bad cover band. They need a system for people who are not there for the band and want to eat their food and beer. If you don't want to be hustled or shaken down for money don't go on the weekend!!! This may only be a bar that should only be visited during the week when bands aren't play...if that is even the case, in order to save yourself from being hustled by the old woman at the door! read more

We ordered pizza sandwiches and salads .We were very disappointed spent 80 bucks on bad food .The pizza was supposed to be deep dish the woman on phone assured me .The pizza was thick crusted not deep dish the cheese was rubbery .The salads I spent 10 bucks each for were garbage wet croutons about 1/4 cup of chopped chicken and about a cup of what appeared to be left over lettuce chopped so small it was mushy ,the Reuben was tasty but soaked in oil .Never again will I order from here think we'll stick to beggars . read more

So last night my BF and I met up here in the early evening after some serious indecisiveness. Needless to say, I had settled on having the typical bar fare and walking away satisfied but not necessarily impressed. After eyeballing the pizza on the table next to ours and asking the waitress how it was, we made our unsure decision. The "deep dish", which is unusual for us as we are the thin crust type. It seemed as though we had little choice. Either stuffed or deep dish, which the menu stated on the latter that "it is worth the wait". As soon as she walked away I knew that it was probably the wrong decision. So we took our beers and moved to a table with a cushioned bench to wait this one out comfortably. After about 35 minutes of watching our waitress serve and clean just about every table in the place with grace, a perfectly cooked thin crust pie landed on our table. Yes! Thin crust with lots of sauce, lots of cheese, sausage, pepperoni, olives and a thick outside crust that tasted like a pastry. I wondered if the waitress read my mind after taking our order and changed it for me? This pizza was absolutely AWESOME! I have to say that we were both pleasantly surprised and look forward to going back again. read more

Great pizza, wings and sandwiches. The Asian wings are the best. Nice place for consistently good weekend bands and parties. But let's face it, Dozens of fresh Craft Beers on tap is why I'm there. The selection is always great. The Summer and Winter Solstice craft Beer festivals are my favorite events. Awesome place for Sunday Funday in the summer with live music outside in the beer garden and year-round for watching sports (and cute waitresses - some with authentic Irish accents). Was REALLY surprised at Dinners, especially Steak On A Stone. It's a Filet served on a 500 degree rock with a selection of sauces, vegetables and mashed taters. It's still cooking when they give it to you. Every single bite is hot and fresh and cooked just the way I like it. Outstanding. read more

went here only 1 time since feb of 2009. my friend worked here but it was a nice place to go to after a house party and stay till close. the drinks were still good and atmosphere was not bad. we had a table in the room not near the bar but could see it from seats. walked around half the time to talk to friends who i have not seen. it is not a bad place to go there around 12am on weekends only. read more

Love Blarney or as I refer to at as the stone. It's a great place with excellent food and an amazing ever expanding beer list. The employees are friendly and welcoming always happy to help with a smile on their faces. The owners are wonderful and giving as they have helped with many fundraiser's that I have volunteered for. I've never been a fan of this place. Service sucks and the bartender with the long dark hair always has an attitude with me and my group of friends. The bartender Tom is always extremely nice and helpful. I never like going to this place mainly because of the constant over served under aged KIDS they let in because they dress seductively... if I had a choice I'd choose ANYWHERE else but here..but since my friends like it because of its convenient location, well go here. Tonight I tried meeting a group of friends and the bouncer almost didn't let me in with my ID...rolled his eyes at me and pretty much threw it back at me(I'm 24 yrs old and come in there 3-5 times a month). My 26 year old boyfriend followed me and showed a STATE issued ID which they would not accept and threatened to confiscate as the bouncer proceeded to reach into my boyfriends wallet and try to take his debit card. He asked to talk to someone higher than the minimum wage bouncer, to where he was directed to again the dark haired bouncer who always seems to hate her Job and customers... She looked to both of us and yelled how about you two just leave and never come back......that is absolutely no problem for me. I have no problem spending money at a better establishment with employees that are more friendly than the group of employees Blarney Stone has. This is just a heads up to anyone who's looking for a good enviro,net to hang out at, I would never recommend this place. I only gave it one star because I can't do negative. read more

This place is awesome. We have eaten there and ordered delivery. No matter what it is also hot and fresh. When Delivery - it is always here quicker then the quoted time. If you dine in - they have a great selection of draft beer and always adding the latest and greater. I just don't have anything negative to say about this place. Always has a great selection of craft beers. Taps are always changing with seasonal or new brews. Check out the big board on each visit to see what's new on tap. This place blows away most places in terms of "bar food". Everything I have tried off their menu has been great . read more

One of my favorite local bars! The atmosphere is always a great time with the exception of a few town drunks - but that's a given anywhere. Tons and tons of beers on tap which always tempts me to try something new. They have live entertainment often and a large outside area. They sometimes have cover charges which is fine given the entertainment they provide. read more
