Bennett's Tree Service in Fawn Grove did a phenomenal job with our recent tree removal after a…read morestorm. They were prompt, courteous, respectful, communicative, and extremely reasonable in price. They took great care with every part of the process of my tree's removal. The tree was uprooted and smashed down onto our wooden fence (the poor fence is past due on getting replaced) but Bennett's team carefully removed the tree without causing further damage to the other panels of the fence. I thought that this would be impossible to remove without ripping out more portions, just to clear it to get it out.  Part of the service that I opted to purchase was the removal of the entire tree, debris, and cleanup. I happened to mention that I wanted to keep some of the wood for a project (the tree had great sentimental value) and was thrilled that they neatly left behind what I had indicated I was thinking about doing with it, if I could cut it up myself. This was not part of the service and yet they did it with such thoughtfulness and respect, leaving those pieces behind for me to take back to my workshop. After removing the remaining parts of the tree, they filled in the hole. I don't know if that is typical but for the price of the service, I did not expect that, on top of their help with the pieces that I wanted to save!  That willow tree was an important part of our life since we moved here in late 2000. Mostly because we planted it ourselves (it actually survived!!) but primarily because it was a memorial for our beloved pets over the years. Words can NOT adequately express just how impressed with this business that I am. It goes without saying that over the years, it often seemed like customer service and overall pride in one's workmanship had dwindled to the point of almost nonexistent. When we encounter situations such as these, we really need to make a point to acknowledge those who have made a lasting impression on us with their thoughtful actions and strong work ethic. I absolutely recommend them (Bennett's Tree Service) and would definitely use them again. The pictures can be found on Google reviews to see how awesome they are. Again, I was not expecting to have much of that portion of the fence remaining once the tree was removed. The only part missing is the portion that the tree squished (it's there but in fragments). Right now (while we search for fencing contractors) the fence is being held up by wooden pallets, duct tape, & a prayer but that's because they left something behind for me to do that! I am still SO impressed!

I wasn't planning to do the work this year, but Jordan offered me a very attractive price (lowered…read morethe offered price 3 times) in order to get the job. The crew showed up on time at the agreed upon date. This vendor had previously done work for me with no problems on a prior job and I was expecting everything to go smoothly. I even referred them to my neighbor who hired them for some additional work to be done while they were onsite at my house. Unfortunately, there was a disagreement about what 2 large branches were supposed to be trimmed on a large oak tree. I did not get the work done that I had agreed upon with Jordan. I needed a large branch removed that was in danger of falling on my neighbor's shed. That had been discussed at length with Jordan and was the primary reason for the job. A different and much smaller branch was removed instead. Stump grinding was part of the job and that part was completed as agreed. The stump grinding equipment was left in my neighbor's driveway and a truck came to pick it up. The truck drove across my lawn. This was really not necessary since the equipment was parked in a driveway and easily accessible without driving across my lawn. This is not a big deal for me (my lawn is ok) but some folks do get upset about this stuff. Misunderstandings about which branches were to be trimmed can happen. However, I don't feel that they really cared to try and resolve the issue with a reasonable compromise in good faith. Poor attitude. I paid them in full for taking down a different branch and will now have to hire another vendor to finish the job. This vendor is no longer welcome on my property. If you do use this vendor, make sure you get each branch clearly marked.
