Erin and Jun provided an excellent experience from start to finish. We were on a tight schedule to paint the interior of our home before moving in, and they were incredibly accommodating to our timeline. Since they have a lot of experience with custom/designer projects, they were able to offer an expert opinion for color selection and even designed a custom color that we love. Erin provided very frequent communication (multiple times a day) to keep us up to date on how the project was going and finished the job on time. Our home looks fantastic, better than we could have hoped for. They paid great attention to detail in every room and it really shows. Now that the job is done, Erin continues to stay in touch and make sure we're happy with our new paint. We could not have asked for better color, quality and customer experience. read more

During a recent trip to S.California we stumbled across their ad for some refinished bedroom furniture. They had exactly what we needed for our guest bedroom. You know how it is with furniture, it's either cheap garbage or crazy expensive... There never seems to be a good happy medium. Problem solved. They were selling great pieces, beautifully refinished and very affordable. Nice people too! read more

Hello Everyone!! From beginning to end, Erin, Jun and Gary were outstanding. Jun and Gary painted the interior of our home. They took extreme care of our furniture and possessions, as if they were their own. Their attention to detail was outstanding, especially Gary! Our interior walls required more coats of paint (darker to lighter color) than originally anticipated, so the job took an additional day to complete. Jun and Gary maintained their dedication to completing quality work and maintained a caring, professional attitude throughout the entire job. Thank you guys! read more

So Impressed By Erin!! She is fast & decisive & creative. She & Jun work so well together. We had trouble picking the right paint color for our bath (matching tile, the vanity, etc.) -- and she picked just the right neutral color for our color palette. Thank you, Erin & Jun! read more

Erin and Jun painted my master bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen area. Which in the end turned out to be stellar in results. Erin was responsive, communicative, quoted fairly, and answered all my questions in a timely matter. Erin even came back to do touch ups when some of the walls needed it. Upon meeting both, they were both real nice and professional. Erin even gave suggestions on paint colors and what colors would look best in each rooms. After working with them, I see now why their yelp reviews have awesome ratings. I'm very happy with hiring this company and will surely use them again! read more

Erin painted my living room and stairwell. From quoting to job completion, she was exceptionally responsive and communicative. I especially appreciated the status updates, as I wasn't able to be present for most of the job. She was very respectful of the space and cleaned up the area. She provided helpful tips to spruce up the place beyond the paint job as well. And she did a great job with true attention to detail. It's clear that she has pride in her work. Overall, I highly recommend 29bydesign for a high quality and affordable job with great service! read more

29bydesign is a family owned business. We hired them to paint the interior walls of our 2400sqft house that we just purchased. We wanted to transform this beige house into a grey interior. Erin and Jun are very professional, fast, and detail oriented.  They came back to do some touch-ups after our movers and carpet installers.  They really helped us turn our vision into real life.  Erin is really great at offering suggestions on paint colors as well.  My husband and I highly recommend Erin, Jun, and their assistants Gary and Jack!  They did a fantastic job!! We can't get over how beautiful the interior paint came out! read more

We recently moved back to Poway and wanted to get our new home interior repainted. I found 29bydesign on yelp and they were quick to respond to my quote request. Erin and Jun came by to see the scope of work on Saturday morning and sent us a quote almost immediately. We wanted to get our house painted ASAP so we could move in our furniture so they squeezed us in on Monday and had the entire job done in one day! Erin, Jun, and Gary were all super professional and a pleasure to work with. They even let my four crazy dogs run around while there were working which was the best! Definitely would recommend and will use them again for any future painting projects! read more

I can't recommend Jun & Erin enough. They have done several projects on our home that have helped transformed the look of our simple track home into something more custom. Erin is an expert communicator and has a great eye for design and Jun is a true artist who can expertly replicate the look of rich wood grain on even the most challenging of surfaces - like the metal spiral staircase pictured. Because they are a joy to work with and they do such stunning work I keep looking around my house trying to find opportunities to beautify it even more. They are true professionals and genuinely nice people. Highly recommend! read more

This review is Loooooong over due! I'm sorry!!! Erin and her team repainted the walls and the baseboards in our rental condo last May and I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. Since we live in the Bay Area it is not always easy to coordinate things like this without actually being in San Diego, but Erin made it so easy for me. After getting details and pictures from me, she gave me a very very reasonable quote and then she picked up the keys from my moms house and got started! She helped us choose the perfect paint color, and made our house look fresh and young again. Thank you so much Erin and her team for helping us out so much, and making this process so easy for us, and giving us a beautiful finished product!!! read more

Erin and Jun made my old, worn out dining table into a piece of furniture I love! The table was originally stained a reddish brown with whitewashed chairs, which no longer matched the style we wanted after moving. The table top had several damaged areas from hot plates, which created white rings. I was thinking of buying a new set when I read a recommendation for 29bydesign. Erin and Jun came to my house and helped me decide what would look best in our new kitchen/dining area. Now the table is the natural light wood color and the chairs are black. We love it and get compliments on it often. I would not hesitate to recommend 29bydesign to my friends. read more

I had them come out to repair a piece of furniture that had been in my family for decades. It had lived through the 50s with sky blue paint. Then the 70s with bright yellow paint. It's final paint was crackle red from the 80s. I almost threw it out but decided to refinish. Now it is cool and sophisticated. They did an excellent job changing the color scheme completely. Also redoing the handles so they looked brand new and yet old at the same time. They also refinished a chair that had been damaged after having a plastic item placed on top of it. It matches all the other chairs in the dining room very well. I would highly recommend them for any kind of restoration work. read more

I am extremely pleased with the work done by Erin and Jun repainting the interior of my home. I found 29bydesign on yelp, and Erin set up a free consultation with me the next morning. I recently purchased a home that had some rooms with good paint jobs, some rooms with bad paint jobs, and some rooms that just needed touch ups. Erin and Jun arrived promptly to the consultation and were very helpful in guiding me to what was needed to make my house look the way I desired. When I told Erin I wanted to get the job done ASAP so that I could move my furniture it as soon as possible, she worked on fitting me into her schedule and started working on my home later THAT DAY! Two days later and my house looks amazing and move in ready. I will be using them for any further painting services I need! read more

Excellent service! Erin really goes above and beyond to make sure we get excellent service. So prompt to respond and closely works with us. Also gives us great options and feedback, that really helps us make some decisions on the choices! Very understanding and so flexible, we had to get the painting work started right away and Erin, even though had another project, juggled things to get our work started. Also, delivered well ahead of time with great quality. Will definitely recommend Erin and also will go with her for any future painting service. Great work Erin!! read more

I found Jun and Erin on Yelp to do a faux Venetian plaster finish on our family room walls which was covered by an aging wallpaper. I showed Jun a picture of what I wanted it to look like, and he assured me it was not a problem. It was a fairly big room, and they spent more than a day just to carefully remove the wallpaper, and another two to apply the finish. The result was even better than I had expected. In fact, I liked it so much that I had them come back to do a small powder room. I had initially wanted the same finish as the family room, but Jun suggested an aged plaster finish with 3D details that would put the wow factor in the small room. He actually worked out a sample board to show me what it would look like, and I was convinced. It was a 4 step process that took 3 days to complete, and the result was amazing. He even painted the switch plates and exhaust fan cover to match! Needless to say, I'm more than pleased with Jun's work. He's an artist with a lot of pride in his work, shows up and completes the job on time, and a professional every step of the way. I would recommend him without hesitation. read more
