Stopped in for a cocktail while visiting Atlanta. What a beautiful fun bar. Staff was great! Drinks were strong. Supporting the Gay community is always a highlight!

This is a fantastic LGBTQ bar in Atlanta. The vibe is totally on. The bartenders are awesome - very attentive, friendly, personable. I was in Atlanta by myself on a trip, and stopped in for a drink. It was a Saturday night, and it seemed that most people that were there knew someone already. So I felt uncomfortable talking to anyone. I would definitely come back here if I found myself back in Atlanta.

This is a staple in the Atlanta gay scene (30+ years) and is a good bar to get started at, but will quickly get crowded as the night goes on. It has a good energy, but it can be a bit much if you want something low key. There are two floors with more of the dancing happening on the upper floor. They serve food until about 9 pm so if you want to get something to nom on be sure to do before the kitchen closes. My party came a bit later so unfortunately we weren't able to get any noms. Next time though! Other than that, they are opened until 3 am so get your Vodka and Soda and enjoy the drag shows and dance out to the music!

Have you ever been at a bar and paid for a round of drinks, then when the tab came, you told the bartender "No I want to buy the round of drinks, not just MY drink" and then she says "this IS the entire round" and then your jaw drops down to the floor and it's super super hard to pick it back up again? That's Blakes. And the drinks are cheap. Even when it's top shelf. Like $12 cheap for two drinks. Wow. My jaw is still down there. Blakes has a lot of different spaces. The downstairs bar, the upstairs bar, the upstairs outside area. The bathrooms are, wow, really disgusting. And are no gender. I decided to wait to go elsewhere. But then again.. it's bar. What do you expect? And it was in line with all my expectations! 5 stars for cheap drinks and friendly bartender service!

Came here to pick up a boy but the prospects were pretty Blake's. I mean Bleak. Actually both. It's a pretty spectacular Gay Club in Atlanta with several levels and tons of different rooms. They play some really great music, and when I was in here close to Christmas time the whole place was singing Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You - especially the backing vocalist parts (and ayyyyyyyyyahahayyyyyy). It was pretty sweet. Kudos to the cop out front who let me park illegally since it was late at night. Maybe he was hitting on me. Unfortunately nobody in the club was but that's life. Ended up here two nights in a row. Long story. Emphasis on long.

Was visiting Atlanta for a few days and decided to stop by for a drink! Place is lively and the bartenders are very attentive! Drinks are cheap as well and the music was great! Definitely a place to stop by and have a drink!

Awesome gay bar. They have a full service bar downstairs and upstairs. They have a gender neutral bathrooms which was pretty awesome to see. The bathroom has two way mirrors so you can see out into the bar. They also serve bar food at the bar downstairs which is really nice. They have a lot of giants screens with music videos play on them. It's a great spot to relax and hangout.

An Atlanta staple. They just beefed up the upstairs and patio after an unfortunate fire. The bartender Josh is the best

Ask the Community - Blake's On The Park

Is there a dance floor at Blake’s?

I think a small one and perhaps one in the back room

Do they have a drag show every friday night?

Absolutely! It's starts @ 11pm. But hey, it's Drag Queens so it's more like 11:30pm

Could anyone answer this question for me.... Does Blake on a Park allow open mic opportunities on…

Unlike Midtown Moon (Burkharts) there's no karaoke night as of the time I'm answering this message. And there isn't anywhere inside the bar that'll be a practical place for karaoke. Not downstairs or upstairs.

I can't help but think the owners here just want suck money out of the LGBTQ community, not provide an actually decent experience. Let's start with the basics. When I was here around Halloween last year, I had to use the bathroom. That was a big mistake. There was a drag show that night... MSR's response? To close the women's restroom and make it a drag prep room and then force people of all identities to use ONE restroom with ONE stall and a urinal. There was easily over 100 people in the building. You mean to tell me a LESBIAN BAR is providing ONE TOILET TO A TON OF WOMEN? Be fr. I had to wait in line with the door to the bathroom open just to use a gross toilet while men are walking in and out freely to use the urinal. Why am I being subjected to that??? Another major gripe that I have with MSR- they (illegally?) deny free water here. Maybe that has changed, the last time I was here was over the summer. But out of the like 5-6 times I have been at MSR, they've denied me cups of water every single time and the bartender insisted I have to buy bottled water. Isn't it against state law to do that in Georgia? What a truly terrible way to treat your patrons. They don't care about you. At all lol. I'm sure if they didn't have to live up to health department guidelines that conditions would be even worse. My sisters room gets business and attention because it's the only lesbian bar in this area. If (hopefully WHEN) another lesbian bar shows up on the Atlanta scene, MSR better count it's days. It's really sad and frustrating to me because I want to come here and have a good time but I just can't. As a patron I've had a bad or neutral experience every single time I went. The only reason last time was neutral was because I held my pee the whole time. I shouldn't have to do that. Please do better. This bar has no right being recognized as one of the last standing lesbian bars. If you're an entrepreneur and you're reading this, please start another lesbian bar here.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.
