The crawfish was BLAND with a little kick (you can definitely taste the natural flavors of the crawfish if you catch my drift...). The corn was okay, but the potatoes are bland as if they were boiled in plain water. And don't get me started on the turkey neck. When y'all get turkey neck from other places, you get the whole neck. Here, it's like they only give you a piece of it. WTH? They also charge $4 PER SAUSAGE LINK, and $2 per pair for potatoes and corn. A little too pricey for what you get. At least add more flavor to the boil and it'll be worth the price.

I was excited to see that the store has greatly expanded since my last visit so many years ago and they had Big Shot Pineapple in stock *Yesss*!!! Well everything else was great the snow crabs, pickled pig lip and of course they always have the best prices around town!! The good sized shrimp come through and carry the flavor without any other seafood flavors out of the deep fryer. Fries also taste like potatoes and not like seafood. Seafood Gumbo was decent, flavorful not overly salty or spicy. I had rice with it and found sausage, shrimp, and okra. We waited about 15 minutes, but the line moved really fast, so it wasn't bad at all. I ordered 3 pounds of crawfish, a half dozen crabs, and 6 orders of fried hot wings. Overall, everything was good, and I would definitely recommend this spot. The crawfish were a little too spicy for me personally, but I can admit--in my younger days, that level of spice would've easily been a 10/10. Because of that, I'd rate them about an 8/10. The crabs were decent, though slightly on the dry side, especially the claws--but still not bad overall. Now the fried hot wings? Absolutely amazing. That's one of the main reasons I came, and they did not disappoint. Fresh, hot, and full of flavor--definitely something I'd come back for anytime I'm in the area. Honestly, there's only one other place in Amite, Louisiana that makes wings this good. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and hot. If I hadn't already paid, I probably would've added some fried catfish too! Everything was so good I forgot to take pictures
