We wanted a reliable carpet cleaner in the Rancho Bernardo area for my boyfriend's dad. With Yelp I was able to review this company and feel fairly knowledgeable about the company we were sending to his home. Just as we thought, this company did an amazing job and was a great company to do the work he needed. He was more than happy with the work and the gentleman who came out to do it. They also scheduled and did all the work the same day! What more could we ask??! Thank you so much!! read more

As long as Frank Blake is in business, I highly doubt I will ever use any other carpet cleaner. I mean it. After using Frank for awhile, we used someone who charged slightly less, and learned our lesson! I've never met someone before who is so passionate about carpet cleaning and flooring maintenance! He not only takes care of carpets, but also cleans all kinds of flooring. He's been doing this for decades, and was able to educate us about how to choose flooring for our remodel in the various rooms in our house. Frank is honest, personable, and takes great pride in doing a good job. He uses top quality equipment and products. His prices may not be quite the cheapest, but they are competitive, and if you want the job done right, it's worth it to pay a few dollars more to have someone like Frank. He does the work himself, answers all your questions, is easy to reach to get an appointment, is reliable and punctual, and, takes credit cards. I can't ask more from a carpet (and flooring) cleaner. Frank is "the bomb"! read more

Blake Carpet Cleaning did a great job at a reasonable price. I really like that Frank will come out to your place and see your home before giving you a quote. He is very easy to talk to and doesn't try to up-sell you. Frank came by on Tuesday and gave me a quote. I called around to a few others who all gave me quotes at about the same rate, but none of them actually came to see my home. Frank then came back on Friday morning to clean the carpets. He arrived on time and got the job done in an hour and half (three bedrooms and a family room). The carpets look great. He doesn't move furniture for his normal price and his machine is rather large, so it won't get into smaller nooks and between furniture, but I am pretty sure that goes for most places. I am also pleased that my house does not smell like a cleaning product commercial now. It is clean, not masked with perfume. My only reason for 4 stars is because it would have been nice for frank to move a few smaller pieces of furniture to be able to get under them (my glider in the nursery, and some lamps). Also, his prices were competitive, but not cheaper than others. He left me with two sets of booties to use while the carpet dries. Edit: changing to three stars. Upon further inspection. Stains were left in my carpet that I was easily able to get out with resolve. There is also a border of not as clean carpet around the rooms. Down my hallway you can see the main track him machine made is lighter than the foot closest to either wall. What a bummer. Frank is a super nice guy and easy to work with, but the result is not up to par. read more

Frank is professional and arrives with a great attitude to take on the task of dog friendly & human (ice tea, wine) stained carpets. This is the 3rd time I've used Frank and will continue to use him for future carpet cleaning. I expect what I pay for getting stains out of the carpet that I have attempted to get out myself, without any luck. What a difference it makes to have them cleaned! Thank you Frank! Great job! read more

If you're looking for someone to clean your carpets, look no further. Frank was right on time, cleaned our Persian rug nicely on our driveway (used a leaf blower to clean the debris off the driveway first) and was very professional and polite. There were no attempts to upcharge, and he takes credit/debit, which is very convenient. Our rug is drying on the driveway right now and we will bring it inside in a couple of hours. The whole process was easy peasy and I can't recommend Frank enough. (I wrote this a week ago but didn't post until now) read more

OK lets just start out with saying that I thought I was going to have to replace my carpet and this was a last shot at saving it. Frank came by and gave me a very competitive quote and assured me that the carpet would look great....I was pretty skeptical but we gave it a shot. After he was done I couldn't believe my eyes. The carpet looks NEW!!! His equipment is state of the art and he knows how to use it!!! He will be coming back next week to do my Traver-tine floors and Leather sofas. I would happily recommend his services to anyone!!! read more

Frank the owner cleaned all of our carpets today and did a great job. When I called he was fast to respond and was able to book a date for me right away. He demonstrate real care and knowledge and gave great personal service. I will definitely use him again. We may have him clean and seal our hardwood floors next. read more

He was great! My cat is an old man and accidentally peed on our new ottoman. He came the same day to check it out and give us a price range. He got deep into the cushion so it wouldn't leave a smell and it worked wonderfully. I highly recommend him! read more

I have known Frank Blake for the past 5 years and have used his carpet cleaning services on my personal residence twice now. Frank and his team do a great job...I could not believe how CLEAN my carpets looked when he was finished and everything dried! I mean the heavily soiled areas on our carpets are GONE. In addition to the great carpet cleaning Frank is friendly, honest, price is reasonable, and he is a Veteran of our armed forces which to me is another plus. Frank thank you for your service (to our nation) and thank you also for the wonderful carpet cleaning service and I'm here online to recommend your services to other Yelpers like me. read more

Excellent job done on my white carpets! Fast, Friendly and Efficient!

Good job at a good price. It's been a while since I had the carpets cleaned. He was on time, courteous, vacuumed, helped move some of the furniture and got the carpets clean! read more

I would highly recommend Blake Carpet Cleaning. We initially used them to clean the carpets in a house we were selling. Their booking process is easy and efficient and they were able to come the following day. We then booked them to come and clean our couch. They did a great job but there were a couple of spots that got missed. I emailed Frank with the photos and he got back to me immediately. He came out and personally hand cleaned the spots and told me to call if I had any further issues. We will definitely be using Blake Carpet Cleaning for all our carpet and upholstery cleaning. Thank you Frank! read more

***GREAT COMPANY!!! Called several companies on a weekend and didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Frank called immediately back and scheduled a time to inspect the carpets and tile and give an estimate that same day. He was prompt and didn't try to sell additional services. He just now finished cleaning the carpets and tile. They look wonderful! Almost new! Do not hesitate to call them. Your home is probably your largest investment!*** read more

We just used Frank Blake to clean our carpets after my one year old dumped a cup of mud on the living room floor. He showed up at 5pm, less than an hour after I called him and got our carpet amazingly clean. I highly recommend them! read more

Wanted to use you again cause your the only guy I have ever used but you have out priced yourself...same services different guy$200 less!!! So sad! I know your good but when you price yourself out of the normal people's range its sad. Glad you are doing so well read more

Great response and customer service, with a conscientious and skilled cleaning. I will continue to use them in my home.

Simply pit, I called and explained my floor cleaning needs and after giving my zip code I was ask if we could meet in 20mins, I was amazed and said yes! This ready cool guy showed up and reviewed my rooms, gave me a quote that I was happy with and then ask if he could do the work the next morning which I needed, amazed again! The same cool guy showed up "ON TIME" and went to work. He completed the work quickly and with little to no mess left behind. Sometimes fast means sloppy, but not from what I see after my carpet was done and the carpet area done smells so good too! I had the tile in my kitchen done also and to me this was the better part of my happiness since I haven't seen the floor this clean since I moved in. Very satisfied and will call again. read more

I desperately called Frank in short notice. He fit me in and was kind and courteous! I even loved the thank you card he sent afterwards. Will definitely use them again! read more

Frank was friendly, professional, and easy to book. He even tried to dissuade me from cleaning the rug because he thought it was fairly clean anyway. I certainly appreciate the honesty since every other rug cleaner I've ever had is always about the upsell, upsell, upsell! Do yourself and favor and book Blake Carpet Cleaning next time. read more

Frank was very professional and did an excellent job!!! I would recommend him to anyone. Our carpets looked old and dirty, and now, the carpets look brand new and smells so good! He was ahead of schedule and got the job done as quick as I have ever seen. I will not use anyone else from here on out. Thank you Frank! read more

Frank came out to clean my Persian rugs. He did a fabulous job and saved me hundreds of dollars by doing them at my home. My wood floors were full of black glue when I pulled up the rugs before the cleaning. I tried scraping, lightly sanding, using chemicals but nothing worked. He told me he'd take care of it. After working for a couple of hours, my floors looked like they'd been refinished. They were spotless!! Again he saved me a ton of money. I'm very grateful and will certainly use his services again and recommend him highly. read more

Blake's Carpet Cleaning did a fantastic job! Frank, the owner, did our carpets and they looked so amazing. He did both living rooms, our hallway, and our master bedroom with pet stains and the odors of many dogs running through our white carpets. I look forward to becoming a regular customer of Blake's Carpet Cleaning. They were super nice, really accomodating and gave us a great price. Highly recommend them for any type of carpet and any carpet cleaning needs! read more

Carpet looks like new. Even the hard stains came out. Thank you BTW same day service on Easter weekend

Got a quote over messages on yelp within the day, and scheduled service right away. Frank called the day before to confirm the appointment. He showed up on time and did a very good job. Carpet look very clean now. Their rate is reasonable, and overall very happy with the result. Will definitely use them again. read more

I echo the other Yelp posts. Frank is nice, affordable, fast, on time and he did a great job.

Frank did an amazing job on our carpet that was worn out and embarassingly dirty. I had rented a carpet cleaner a few months ago and it barely did anything. Frank came in, gave a very reasonable estimate, showed up as scheduled, and made the carpets look almost new again. We will use his service in the future. read more

We had a serious carpet situation in every room of the house due to an elderly kitty. We tried the DIY home treatments, but with the humidity this week the urine odor came out and hit us like a brick wall, we needed professional help fast! Called Blake's Carpet Cleaning on Wednesday morning and received a callback from Frank shortly after. I explained the situation and he offered to swing by to assess and provide a quote on his way to another appointment a short time later. Frank arrived at the time he said he would, was friendly and professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the issue we were facing...old pet stains and a lot of them! He spent quite a bit of time going through each room, assessing the damage and discussing recommend solutions. He even went ahead and pre-treated/deodorized the worst area of damage right there on the spot!! Received his final quote later that afternoon via email (I had added on a few upholstery cleaning items last minute, otherwise I already had his estimate for the damage), he followed up with a phone call and he was able to schedule the job the very next morning! Showed up right on time and went to work restoring our 1 year old carpet back to new, and cleaning our 5 year old cream colored couches and rug back to new as well! The smell was gone, and although the cleaning solutions he used smelled wonderful (and are totally green BTW, no harsh chemicals!), I could tell that it wasn't just a cover-up job and that he'd eradicated the cat urine! Over 24 hours later, the house still smells wonderful and urine free. He also let me know that if I discover any lingering odor to call him up and let him know, I really trust that he stands behind his work...thank you, Frank! read more

I was looking for a good carpet cleaner and relied on yelp to find one. Good thing I did, I found a GREAT one! I'll tell you why I was so impressed. I've got Berber carpet (very difficult to clean) in beige color. Frank set up an appointment right away, drove down to Chula Vista and spent a good pair of hours cleaning it. He worked very diligently and even showed me all the dirt he was able to extract from the carpet. He explained the type of cleaning products he uses which are environmentally safe and safe for pets and children which is important to me. Franks was very generous with his time, I didn't feel like he was rushing to move onto his next job and he really worked up a sweat on my carpets. They looked brand new; I was very satisfied with the job! I would recommend this company! I plan to call them for future jobs! read more

I have used Blake Carpet Cleaning twice, once this week and once a year ago. Fabulous. Frank really knows his stuff and is very informative. He also does a great job. We have five kids and two dogs. One of the dogs is quite old and has accidents in the house. The other dog is a puppy...so... that means lots of accidents. Frank makes the carpet look, and smell, like new! Give them a try! read more

Frank came out to clean the upstairs carpet that our rescue dogs had pretty much destroyed. We had tried to clean ourselves and even bought a carpet cleaner but never seemed to get it out and the odor lingered, which was embarrassing and prevented us from having guests over. Frank was very nice and easy to talk to, I did not feel that his prices were unfair but he was not the cheapest either. I can tell you that the price was worth it though, as after the carpet dried it COMPLETELY removed all traces of odor. During the drying process I called Frank to tell him that I still smelled odors, and he happily came out to make sure that everything was up to my expectations and made me feel like he really cared about my satisfaction. Fast forward a year..........and some more "accidents" and I am calling Frank again. HOWEVER, despite the accidents that have occurred since he last cleaned, there still is NO ODOR, just visible spots and normal wear and tear. No other carpet cleaning company will get your carpets as deeply cleaned as Frank can. He is an expert and you get what you pay for. read more

This is a VERY competitive business. It was timing and proximity that led me to Blake Carpet Cleaning. Long story short, Frank came over and cleaned my bedroom, hallway, living room, and dining room carpet. Turned out nicely. Good equipment. Uses your water. Price was very fair and he worked hard for it. Thankfully, no BS with this guy. I got the feeling he sincerely cares about doing a good job. If you need your carpets cleaned, I recommend his service and I'll use him again. read more
