From start to finish, Floor Cleaner Fred was great. Texted on a Thursday afternoon to request an estimate and got a quick response and a very reasonable quote to steam clean my 20+ year old plush carpet (3 bedrooms, walk in closet, hallway and stairwell). Was able to squeeze the job in the following Tuesday. Sammy was punctual, personable and very professional. He was able to arrive a little early because he knew I was on a time crunch to make it to a Padres game and spent a good 2 1/2 hours treating and cleaning the carpet that had been trampled over by contractors who had done some work in my house. Highly recommend Floor Cleaner Fred if you need your carpet, floors or upholstery cleaned - support small business! Thanks Sammy! read more

There are a few people in life who you really NEED--Sammy (owner of Floor Cleaner Fred) is one of them! Had carpets throughout the house (w/some really tough stains) & cream-colored floor tile grout cleaned: INCREDIBLE RESULTS!! Thought I walked into a new house. The only thing he didn't improve was the floor plan!! (Bummer.) Fabulous job, great personality to match, & very fair pricing. Reliable--Hard-working--Honest--Committed to his work. Sammy was very professional. He was prompt, responsive, and great communication. All the things I look for in a reliable service professional. I will definitley refer him to everyone I know! I was grateful that he would take a small job (just two carpeted staircases) and gave as much time and care if it was a mich larger job. read more

Sammy from Floor Cleaner Fred was amazing in helping get my condo unit cleaned for the carpet and tiles throughout the home. I was recommended to them and Floor Cleaner Fred is superb based on my first hand experience. They were super professional in ensuring that the job was done to perfection! Great communicating and being clear on the pricing too! It was great to get a walkthrough and Sammy explained the process of what was being done and helped assessed the cleaning areas as part of the initial walkthrough. Communication was great as they showed up on time and got things all set up. The job was superb and I am super happy with the results. Sammy (the owner) does a very thorough job and he's very friendly. Always on time and easy to communicate with. Will definitely use again!

Sammy is great, he is always responsive to email, arrives on time, and is very thorough and quick with carpet cleaning. My house always feels so clean when he leaves. I feel his prices are competitive with other companies in the area, when I found him last year I had received quotes from 3 companies which were similar but I think Sammy's professionalism and kindness makes all the difference. I will continue to book with him for yearly carpet cleanings and have referred him to my family and friends. read more

We have been so pleased with the service Sammy has provided over the recent years and especially this week. We were babysitting our daughter's dog for a week and he tracked in so much dirt on our carpets that I thought they would never look the same. But once again Sammy came to our rescue at last minutes notice and did a fantastic job of restoring our carpets. Sammy is always so friendly and professional. We highly recommend Floor Cleaner Fred for reliable service at reasonable rates! read more

Sammy did an amazing job on my wool area rug and my nursery recliner chair. When I sent a message out to various vendors on yelp, he explained in detail his process of cleaning and prices. He didn't simply just send a quote, he actually explained that he has the capacity to clean wool rugs which was important to me. He came on time and even came back and helped my husband move the recliner chair back into our home since I'm pregnant. Amazing customer service. I will be using him in the future for any upholstery or rug cleaning. Very reasonably priced as well!! read more

Sammy is incredible. We hadn't cleaned our carpets in 5+ years and we have both kids and pets. The time had come. Sammy made the carpets look new again and was SUPER helpful in helping with last-minute pickup of stuff on the floor, with giving me choices/options, with communication, with our working around our schedule. I felt his prices were more than fair. We'll use him as long as we live in San Diego. read more

Sammy is top notch! Very professional, reasonably priced, excellent work. I didn't think my carpet could be saved, but thought I'd try a new provider to see if there was a chance. I was truly amazed how great my carpet looked after Sammy worked his magic. Honestly, I think it was more hard work and know how than magic though. Sammy explained how he uses all of this tools to work out stubborn stains... most of these tools are on everyone's truck, but very few use them because it takes more time and effort. Online scheduling is great. Showed up on time and was a true professional. read more

Another great job by Sammy- this time on our personal home. Very fast and efficient, the carpets never looked so good! Our appointment was at 8am, he pulled up at 7:45 and set up his equipment. He has a truck mounted machine, with a really powerful vacuum, which leaves your carpets nearly dry, so you don't have to wait very long to put your furniture back in. Thanks again Sammy! read more

Messaged them on Yelp and the whole process was super easy. Sammi was great, they came to me and took my area rug downstairs since my apartment is small and they cleaned my rug. Whole process took about 30 minutes and it looks great. I have a Moroccan wool rug so unfortunately some stains couldn't be removed but it looks so much better. Sammi went over and beyond and left his 3 fans for me so my rug could dry correctly and not smell like a wet dog bc it's wool. I would recommend and will use them again. read more
