They were very honest with their reports, reasonable on their rates, and even flexible in ways most businesses are not. Not to mention that they are just really nice human beings! I would really recommend them to anyone who needs their car/truck serviced or inspected. Not only are they nice to you, the customer, but they are good for your vehicle too. My truck is running much smoother now that the exhaust is fixed, I've even noticed marked improvement on the fuel economy.

It was brand new and driven in from Jersey. It was not put on the back of a tow truck. I had 400 Niles on it when I was handed over the keys. 5 years later, I have been contacted by them via email to come in for oil changes I refuse to do so. The Salesforce made it very obvious to me that all they wanted was my money. I will never go back to this dealership. I have nothing good to say about them and I will let everyone within the sound of my voice now not to deal with this location. Buyer beware. The staff here are as ruthless as they come. If you are here for Service, the waiting area is a clean, pleasant place to wait while your vehicles is getting serviced. Complimentary water and coffee remain here, while the Covid pandemic appears to have killed the free popcorn that used to be served. Service staff always seem patient and friendly, and try to separate out what is required maintenance and what you need to be aware of ahead of time. Few new or used cars are currently available, due to the Covid pandemic--quite a wide selection of cars used to be available here, previously. Ciocca appears to be pushing Service very hard these days, which makes sense considering car sales appear to be severely low due to lack of stock. We don't have much choice for Honda sales or service in the Williamsport region, as Ciocca Honda is it--and it's not a bad place, overall.

I've now had two separate mechanics look at the car and both confirmed the same thing. The vehicle was dangerously unsafe to drive after leaving this shop. Instead of taking responsibility like a professional, he blames the aftermarket parts that he personally approved or starts attacking customers for "Googling things" when called out. The environment at this place is just as bad as the work they do. * Substance use. The main mechanic has been seen getting high while working on vehicles. Think about that for a second. The person responsible for the safety of your car is impaired while doing the work. * Drama and vandalism. The shop is surrounded by constant drama and chaos. Even basic issues that were supposed to be fixed "within the first few months" suddenly become your problem once you try to hold them accountable. * Service department that makes things worse: People bring in cars for warranty work and leave with vehicles that barely run--some even break down immediately after leaving the lot. They claim they "test drove" the vehicle extensively, yet Subaru Starlink reveals they barely touched it. The dishonesty is unbelievable. * Constant contradictions depending on who they're talking to: A woman brings in the car? Suddenly it's "dangerous," "needs thousands in repairs immediately," and "the bearings could fail any second." Her husband calls? Magically the tires are fine, the bearings are fine, and repairs "aren't urgent." They told me it was free and I could come get it or they could try again for a maintenance charge. Because we have a 4 hours drive I said keep it and I'll pay the charge. A few hours go by and again after a 20 mile drive still no recreation and Bobby said no charge. I offered to pay and he said "I couldn't do that- it wouldn't be right". I was so appreciative and they said after popping the hood they deemed it safe. I haven't had the issue again but I sure do appreciate the piece of mind. A few months ago, my car started showing symptoms of impending alternator failure. Based on positive Internet reviews, I took it to Bastian. They said they wouldn't be able to look at it until the end of the week but suggested I leave the car with them rather than chance driving it. At week's end, they diagnosed the alternator problem and quoted $150-250 to rebuild or replace it the following week. I agreed. Things went downhill from there. They called to say they were able to rebuild the alternator but, in putting back in the car, other parts had broken requiring further work. They worded this carefully, avoiding responsibility and claiming it was due to the car's age. I felt I had no choice but to agree to this additional work. Over a week after I initially brought the car to them, I paid almost $800 to get my car back. It ran very rough and sounded like they'd ripped the muffler off, unacceptably loud. I was able to get this fixed at another local mechanic who found holes in the exhaust piping and patched them. So, I suffered a very long wait for my car, their claims of additional parts spontaneously disintegrating when they reassembled my car, a final price far exceeding the original quote, and return of my car in an unacceptable driving condition. I won't return to Bastian.
