If you're looking for compassion during the loss of a loved one, do not choose Adams…read more After my grandmother passed away, my grieving mother handled everything over the phone. Instead of being met with professionalism or even basic empathy, the owner decided to accuse my mother of being "rude to the staff." Imagine calling a grieving daughter to scold her while she's trying to arrange cremation services. Completely unnecessary, inappropriate, and honestly disgusting behavior for someone in this line of work. The owner was cold, passive-aggressive, defensive, and seemed more focused on being offended than being helpful. This business does not treat grieving families with care -- they treat them like an inconvenience. To make it even worse, my grandmother's remains were returned to us in a plain box, not an urn. No dignity, no sensitivity, no effort -- just a box. And if you think this is a one-time issue, take one look at the owner's responses to Yelp reviews. She consistently responds to honest feedback by personally attacking customers instead of taking accountability. She has absolutely no right to insult or make assumptions about people she doesn't even know. She has no idea who we are, what our family dynamic is, what our grieving process looked like, or what we were dealing with -- yet she speaks as if she does. That alone tells you everything you need to know about her professionalism. If you can't handle death services with compassion, maturity, and respect, you are in the wrong profession. I genuinely hope more families speak up and report this business, because no one deserves to be treated this way while mourning a loved one. Save yourself the stress and choose literally anywhere else.

There was absolutely no pressure, just information. This is the second time lve used Lawncrest Mortuary and l chose cremation both times. The entire process was explained to me by Brice and l agreed on the price and service. In a time of need, Lawncrest helped relieve so much pressure on me. I had the opportunity visit Allen and Dahl on Eureka Way and their prices were almost twice the price rate l paid at Lawncrest, plus the front office manager was as rude and calloused as she could be. I wouldn't take my dead cat to Allen and Dahl. They're good at overcharging for everything.

The flower vase was still missing, weeds overgrown on the headstone, only dirt to be found. We walked to visit my Grandparents gravesite and we had to wipe all the headstones off to view the names. We witnessed a man cutting weeds off of a headstone he was visiting as well. This is unacceptable. When my Aunt chose Lawncrest when my Uncle passed she was lead to believe Lawncrest was going to care for this gravesite in the most compassionate way... that's a lie and the proof us in the pictures. Take a walk and see for yourself. Very upsetting and disappointed.

We sat down with Jen and went through the types of services that were offered. My brother was cremated and then laid to rest in the eye go veterans cemetery in I go California. The arrangements have included a processional, an honor guard, a 21 gun salute, A ceremonial flag, and my brothers ashes in a rosewood box. I had not received confirmation on the processional, the honor guard, or the 21 gun salute but proceeded to attend the service in Anderson California: which is 7 1/2 hour drive from my home in Washington. My two sisters and my brother along with their families friends and acquaintances all arrived to the chapel at the 2 o'clock time frame. Upon arrival we were quickly ushered to our seats and told to hurry up and get the stuff set out because people were waiting. The honor guard was standing at attention(As they should) and I was in the midst of setting out my brothers flowers when we were told we had to get started so we left things incomplete and sat in our designated areas waiting for the flag to be folded and presented. It was at this time I realized that the 21 gun salute had not been provided. My family was deeply saddened as they were looking forward to celebrating my brothers life and his final resting place with a 21 gun salute. Many thanks to our escorts for my brothers remains to the veterans cemetery even though we ran one hour late, and many thanks to the honor guard even though we did not receive the 21 gun salute, many thanks to I go services personnel for explaining step by step the process of the services. I have contacted Allen&Dahl and spoke with Jen who is trying to work out some thing. We're hoping in the event that my Brothers headstone is placed, there might be a 21 gun salute at his graveside to acknowledge his service. This was an unfortunate turn of events.
