I can not say enough wonderful things in this one review, to even begin to represent all the praise that is rightfully due to Morgan Gibson, owner of Blades & Bevels!! First I want to comment on her customer friendly website, which is very easy to navigate thru, and packed full of education and information! You could not leave her website and feel uninformed, it is beyond adequate about procedures, cost, who may or may not be a good candidate for her services! It is one of the best I have ever been on, for a company that offers professional services! That being said, I booked my apt online and was able to get in within ten days! Again all the info that you would ever need is on her website with do's and dont's prior to your apt, for a successful procedure! I have wanted to have permanent makeup on my eyebrows for awhile, to say I was anxious is an understatement! With the amazing reviews and pictures of her work, along with individuals I personally know that had been very pleased with her work, is what gave me the courage to book this apt. At my first meeting with Morgan, she is so calm, so professional, so full of knowledge and education within her practice, you can't but feel safe and comfortable in her hands! I honestly answered majority of her questions about what I wanted with, You decide, I feel very confident in your recommendations!!! With Morgan's knowledge and talent, she knew far better than I what would look best! Everything about her studio was beautiful, super clean, organized, professional and calming! By the time she said we were ready to start, I was so relaxed and confident with her, I literally fell asleep during the process! To the point she had to wake me more than once, for moving in my sleep. The final time she did so, was to say we were finished, and she was handing me a mirror. My first thought was, oh my gosh, she has taken me back 15 years (so near to how my brows used to look, only better!) I can't say my whole face looked that much younger, oh how I wish, but my brows definitely were much more youthful and beautiful! I have to say at this point, I am 59 yrs old, I state this because of a review left on here warning anyone over 50 should beware of getting services by Morgan! That warning I wholeheartedly disagree with! When you leave her studio you are fully equipped with product, and written material on how to care for your brows and fully what to expect day by day! There were no surprises whatsoever, a few times I looked back over the info and even pictures she supplied preparing you on what to expect, I had not one question for it is ALL given to you! I have just completed my perfecting session a few days ago, and I can't wait for my whole healing process to be finished. For I want to see the final full beautiful brows I know I have now!! I can not begin to fully describe the level of professionalism Morgan has, her amazing natural talents, the superior skill in her trade, and top notch customer service with remarkable bedside manner!! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone, no matter your age! If someone states they were not handed a mirror, or had questions unanswered, I find that very very hard to believe actually! Morgan has been Great with me and my daughter even if it's last minute when I need an appointment. I love the way she maps my eye brows and the way she does my lashes . It's hard to find someone that takes the time and gets to know what exactly you want . Everytime I go for a fill I feel good on the way they turn out . Morgan is a rockstar at what she does very friendly, but still professional vibe. I had microblading done in 2016 that i wasn't too impressed with. I wasn't sure what to expect when getting pmu with her- ya know, color, shape, combo, ombre, microblading etc. However, she worked her magic & showed me the mapping, explained the technique, what it would look like, and walked me through every step of the process so I was aware. Wasted $850. Not the best experience. I waited a long time for this and was genuinely excited, especially based on what I saw on social media. Sadly, I learned that you cannot always trust this. I have two completely different eye brow shapes. My second visit was rushed, as she was running late, which is ok. But then there was not enough time to really go through things. Her next client arrived, and I left without looking in a mirror to really make sure everything was ok. There were no before or after photos for comparison. All in all disappointing. I had provided photos for comparison. Had it been the color I requested and the shape I requested, I think it would have been ok... the fact I had it done before is irrelevant. I also don't think it's right, just because you are running late/rushing, to not allow someone to look in a mirror before they leave your studio. And to assume that conversations that were had 2.5 years ago are sufficient... very poor communication. I will update No discount was offered. I paid full price. It was not worth the $850 (before tip) I spent! It is unacceptable to provide a service without allowing the client to look in a mirror before they leave their appt. This should never happen. Edit: Morgan, this is not true. My end result was not lovely" and not what I asked for. Please refer to the photo i posted. And you can't attach a photo anyway, because you didn't take a photo "to add to your edited reply" remember you were running late, I didn't even look at a mirror, let alone have photos taken. read more

They are literally perfect...every single day and I don't have to do anything except get them touched up once a year! Morgan was very professional throughout my appointment. She made sure I was comfortable and understood what she was doing. She was very thorough when explaining the aftercare and even gave me a care kit to take home with everything I needed to care for my brows! She was also sure to let me know I could reach out with any questions or concerns during the healing process. She told me what to expect to see as my brows healed so I would know how to properly take care of them to prepare myself for the touch up session in just a few weeks. I am very satisfied with the professionalism I received and the final result of my brows. Morgan microbladed my brows and she did a fantastic job! She was very thoughtful and kind when answering my questions about the process before the appointment, and made a point to make sure I was comfortable and ready for the actual procedure. Although I was a bit anxious about the pain and how the finished look would turn out, Morgan's excellence and attention to detail made it all worth it. When I arrived, Morgan and I went over the shape and tint of of the brows. I appreciated that Morgan was sure to ask specifically how I wanted the shape and color, while kindly providing her expert opinion. My 63 year old mom had an absolutely terrible experience. Morgan did not even come close to doing the desired shape she wanted and my mom experienced excessive bleeding so she had to stop and told her to come back in 8 weeks. When my mom rescheduled Morgan said she wasn't comfortable doing another session without a doctor's note. My mom had asked about her prescriptions and was told by the pharmacis it would not cause it. Morgan basically said my mom was lying about medical history and refused to see her again. Rather than telling my mom the first go-round she wasn't comfortable she has put my mom on an emotional roller coaster and refuses to refund even the deposit on a job that was botched and incomplete. If you are over the age of 50 and have little to no eyebrows do NOT waste your time or money here. My mom's already fragile self esteem was crushed by how the initial shape (which faded to nothing) was 100% not what she asked for and then devastated to basically be called a liar and have Morgan refuse to do a second session. I know she has some great pics on Instagram but let's be honest, you only post the best. I would give negative stars if I could. read more
