There were only 3 other customers so we were immediately sat in chairs. Someone immediately started my pedicure, but unfortunately, my friend had to wait with her feet in the water for over 20 minutes until someone was able to start with her. I typically love coming to Blossom Nails but lately there have been some issues. One they have not been abiding by their online scheduling. I came in with my friend and we scheduled appointments for 10:15 and 10:30AM. We walk in and my nail tech lady (Mai) is giving pedicures to two other women. I was told by another mail tech that Mai "did not know she had an appointment this morning." Therefore I had to wait until 11AM until a nail tech came in to see me. My suggestion is to hire a receptionist to handle the online and phone appointments. Also, Whenever I get my nails done by Sun she is always the one to answer the phone to schedule appointments. She seems very stressed and rushes to where it becomes stressful for the client. There cannot be one person answering the phone and scheduling and that's why I suggest a nail receptionist be hired to answer the phone. On a positive note, I love getting my nails done by Simone. She always does a great job and I've seen how she treats her clientele and they always seem satisfied. Bee is awesome as well. She is very detail oriented, friendly, and professional. read more

Let me start by saying I usually get taken care of by Melinda and she is wonderful. However, she was out of town and I don't know anyone else well at this salon, so I let whoever they gave me do my pedicure. It was a male, the only one working in the salon, and hands down the most painful pedicure I've ever had. a pedicure should feel relaxing and this felt like pure torture. He used the pumice stone on my foot like he was carving wood. It was extremely painful and he ended up cutting both of my feet. I also am really prone to ingrowns and have them taken out every time I get a pedicure. He did not do this, and I was afraid to ask him to even do it in fear he would hurt me. Then it came time for the hot stones, and he kept leaving it on the back of my foot for too long and I literally jumped in pain. He asked if I was ticklish, and I said "no! That hurt!" finally the hot towel he put on my legs felt like it was 100 degrees and did not feel good at all. I feel bad because I hate writing bad reviews, and he seemed very nice. This one of the most known and talked about places to go and get you eyelashes done by anusha. She is absolutely amazing and great at what she does and she listens to her customers to know exactly what they want. This is one of the beer places in Harrisonburg to get your eyelashes done. Now. On another note I wouldn't recommend getting a Brazilian done at this location. The person who does the waxing goes over the same area multiple times which causes bleeding and burns and it get very unpleasant and painful. This has to be one of best nail salons I've been to! The technician's attention to detail is unlike any other. As an example of the picture attached which has allowed my French gel manicure to last over a month. I got this manicure on November 11th (today 12/13)!! I've never had a manicure last this long without a nail or the gel chipping. Along with that, the type of light pink selected matched with my nail bed so it looks even more natural is it grew out. I also asked for the coffin shape because the previous nail salon I went to did not quite get that even as I showed them pictures. I am really disappointed in my experience with Blossoms Spa. I have been there many times to have services such as acrylics, fills, gel manicures, gel pedicures, eyebrows waxed. But the last 3 times I have gone over the span of 2-3 months my experience has been disappointing. I have tried to book with specific people each time and have not gotten the person I booked with at any of my last visits. I have had multiple people working on my nails being passed around. I was overcharged. Then this last time I went is the last time I'll ever go. My nails were a fill 2 1/2 weeks after the original set had been done I went in for a fill. I tried to book with B to do my nails and of course I didn't get to have her do my nails. The person who did do them cut me multiple times and honestly put too much acrylic on my nail. After I left my nails were in so much pain. I decided I will not be going back. Then about 3 weeks later I decided to soak my acrylics off and the shape my nails were/ are in is horrible. I have 2 nails with an I infection and one nail were the acrylic was so thick and she has sanded my nails too thin. I also had acrylic deep in the sides and under my nail bed. MOST pain ever. I came for a dip manicure. I selected a really pretty nude color and ended up with bright orange, nothing like what I picked. I hate nails with any length at all and asked three times for her to cut them down all the way, each time she took the tiniest bit off and I finally gave up. She was also VERY rough with my nails and my cuticles, and didn't fully remove the old dip powder before applying new powder, which I've never seen anyone do. She was with me for almost 2 hours (and stayed 30 minutes past closing) to make sure that my nails were perfect. She was engaging and connected with me on a personal level even on my first visit. I've been here 5-6 times giving it as many chances as I could. Pedicures are consistent and all of the technicians do a great job. I've gotten two gel manicures, one was perfect, the other had irregular nail shapes even after asking for them all to be rounded. Ask for "B" when getting a gel manicure. The last and final straw was when I got a dip manicure that lifted near the cuticle in less than a week and a half and bent off from daily activities/working. When she started putting on the tips and shaping them they looked different then how I normally get my nails done and I asked her if she was still doing the same thing I asked her to. She was having an attitude and I didn't like how they looked so I asked her to take them off. She then told me to stand in a corner for her manager to see, then told her manager that she did nothing wrong. I told her that I never said she did anything wrong. And she proceeded to have an attitude and be so rude. She charged me for nothing because I left there with nothing. There was no where in the policy that had any type of charge due to leaving. I don't think I'm responsible for paying for 15 minutes of work and leaving with nothing done. I am never going back. Horrible experience. read more
