I had the most amazing swedish massage from Diona. She is professional, knowledgable, and attentive. I liked her communication regarding the level of pressure while targeting the stubborn knots in my body. The atmosphere is so relaxing and I felt rejuvenated. The staff are friendly and I'm sure the other massage therapist's are just as good but Diona rocks! I highly recommend this place. I'm sorry if I am spelling her name wrong. read more

The service for mani pedi was exceptional! My husband and I were serviced by Kiara and Adriana. Super nice and took their time. Making sure we were comfortable and offered champagne to sip. Such pampering! Will definitely be back. read more

My massage therapist, Penny, is great! I schedule an appointment every time I visit (10 years now at least 1-2 times per year) The signature massage is by far it is the best massage consistently over and over. There are so many things to do on the mountain, but if I don't do anything else, I always get a massage! read more

Very nice inside! They play mellow music. When you check in they take you to the waiting area. They offer you water or champagne and fig bars! The wait was not long at all. I was then taken to my room and was given a heated neck pillow. I just got a regular pedicure. Mind you I went snowboarding the next day and all my polish was still intact. The staff were super friendly and just gave off good vibes! I would come again! I'm smiling way too hard in the pic Bcs as she was taking off the calluses and I'm very ticklish!! read more

I had one of the best hit stone massages ever here! Penny was my masseuse and was just fabulous! I wish I lived closer so I could go to her at least monthly!! I felt better for weeks!! read more

Services requested were completed per the menu selection. Staff was professional and friendly with clear and open communication. Place was clean and comfortable. My only miss would be price. Lots of other spas not to far away had cheaper price for same services and or for same money could get pamper way more. Was still a pleasant visit read more

Let me be very clear......my massage was trash, we get couples /individual massage often be it locally or during vacation. I can also give a professional massage. This location was on the resort and conveniently place to my stay. The spa was neat and clean. Were the first people there, front desk greeted us by name. *mask are optional with the staff* No long wait.... Let's get into these massages.......... Amber: She gave exceptional service, introduced herself and presented herself in a positive vibe. Babe enjoyed his massage with her, he gave a hands down. The pressure was great for him. He was totally relaxed. After and during..... Matthew: this guy has was not into it. Zero introduction , zero personality. The massage felt like a oily rub down that you would do on yourself after a shower. Zero pressure, (I had the signature full body massage as a birthday gift) felt like he didn't want to touch me. Didn't massage my hands, the foot, thighs, neck, he did do pressure points but no pressure so to explain he just touched area of the pressure point and held his hand there. At one point he used the heel of his palm to touch and hold. His fingers and rest of his hand went limp. I feel no difference from when I walked in and when I left. At checkout they said we are giving 15% off as they are trying to boost clientele during the season. A complete waste of Babe money and my time. Annoyed and ready to book somewhere else.* read more

I just had the best massage of my life with Josh! I'm visiting on vacation and wish Josh was coming back with me because let me tell you his hands, his intuition, the pressure, the rhythm and strokes, customer service, and overall vibe were EVERYTHING!!! Josh worked out all my kinks and knots. His movements were fluid and on point! If I could give more than 5 stars I would because Josh is a master of his craft. Thank you Josh! read more

My dear friend, Karen Walsh and I indulged ourselves with a Spa day at Massanutten, VA. Our experience was fabulous. We were treated with such respect and kindness, which continued and set the tone of the visit from the beginning to end! Our therapists were extremely skilled and excelled at executing their individual assignments with expertise, while not losing sight of outstanding customer service! I would highly recommend them. read more

We had such a good time with our couples' massage in August, that we decided to go back! From scheduling to check in to the massage, nothing could've been better, easier, or more efficient! Kerry and Anna provided some of the best massages we've ever had! They had to work hard to get all the tension out of our muscles, but they did it! Both were professional and so courteous. We will return, if possible! Thanks for an amazing experience! read more

Had a massage here and it was a complete waste of money! The experience was terrible. I like deep tissue massage and I received zero pressure so needless to say I refuse to go back here for anything! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Spa today. I made an appointment for the Best of Both Worlds service (half massage/half facial (no extractions) massage) plus a 15 minute reflexology add on. Angela, my therapist, was very thorough & knowledgeable, and I left the service feeling relaxed and pampered. She even sent me home with the head wrap she used for my facial. The front desk staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. The prices seem a bit higher than I'm accustomed to paying, but the service quality is well worth it. I cannot speak to the quality of their other services since I haven't tried them, but I highly recommend their massage & facial services! I am interested in their spa packages & nail services, so I will be back at the Spa on my next trip to Massanutten. read more

Gel manicure took over an hour and it was see through if that says anything. I paid 65 bucks for gel remover and gel manicure.

Andrea is a wonderful massage therapist! The best massage I've had in a decade. I wish I lived closer so I could come to her regularly. I had the Signature Massage for extra strength on the back and neck where I was very tight. I can't say enough good things about her. Highly recommended! read more

We had a couples Massanutten with Julia and Rebecca. Great place and Excellent job! Thank you read more

Out of everything in the park my lady really wanted to do a couples massage. I wasn't to enthused at first, but it actually turned out to be quite relaxing. We both ended up getting the Signature Massage, which is a combination of Deep Tissue/Swedish massage. It was 95.00 per person for an hour. The staff is very professional and upon arrival even offered us our choice of cucumber water, spring water, or wine. I of course chose the latter (Pink Moscato). I would definitely recommend this place while your on the resort. read more

I've gotten many massages. And the Massanutten signature massage is wonderful! I wish the 60 minuets started once the messaging begins but it would appear it begins as soon as you enter the room, so you still have to get undressed and on the table and wait for the therapist to come back in. Feel like I lost some relaxation time, but the actual massage was amazing, very relaxed and refreshed! My pedicure was also amazing! Great colors to choose from and so many options on what to get. They have complimentary water, tea and wine! Services are a bit pricier than back home. Hoping to try the couples massage our next visit! read more

First of all, I want to say that the services are totally 5 star. Every employee is super friendly and super conscientious! I've had two massages here this week and both Josef and Alissa were superb. I would recommend either of them. My three star review has more to do with Massanutten's Covid policy. They require masks if you are not vaccinated and you don't have to wear one if you are. That policy is for guests and employees. It's a sound policy. However, I booked a facial and given that it is such a close up encounter, I assumed that my service provider was vaccinated. She was not and I stated that I was not comfortable. So we stopped and moved on to the pedicure I had booked, which was much more socially distanced. She did an awesome job! So where is the complaint? The Spa still charged me a cancellation fee instead of offering to find another service provider or apply my money to a different service. They were so concerned that I had unnecessarily taken a slot that someone else could have had "because we do have a waitlist." It reeks of money grubbing and had I known I had to request a vaccinated employee, I would have. The manager actually told me that most people who are that concerned ask - so of course I was to blame. Once again - the services are five Star and I usually get 4 or 5 massages the week I am here and it's totally part of my bliss. But one might expect a resort that has high guest turnover ( weekly) and the emergence of the Delta variant, letting guests know it's their responsibility to pre- check about their service provider's vaccination status would be something they put on their website. read more

Visited the spa today.... I had the signature massage. (1 hour, $85 - $100 after tip) It was very nice. It was not "amazing", but very relaxing & enjoyable. I would have rated today's visit a 3 star visit, but since I have been before, and it was a 5 star experience then, I decided to average those experiences. The spa is a separate building now - in the old days it was tucked into the basement of another building. It's very upscale and very nice. I was sad I couldn't get a convenient appt at the nail salon. As long as I got my massage, who cares? I can get a mani/pedi elsewhere. PS - make your appt in advance! read more

This has been my best spa experience they made me feel like a princess and amazing from start to finish! I'm still on a high from the experience and so relaxed, I came in with arm pain and now I feel completely better. Ima big girl and the team made me feel just wonderful, no size discrimination at all!!!!! If you want a great massage ask for Rebecca she was amazing!!!! The experience was amazing from start to finish! read more

They are truly amazing at this SPA!!!! This is my second experience here and they only get better!!!! Definitely a place to check out!!!!

If you are going to charge for a high end massage, business meetings shouldn't be held outside the room where I can here during my massage. Brought it to the attention of staff, and they didn't care. read more

I had had a couple of massages years ago when I was here, and they were excellent. I was expecting the same, but was sorely disappointed. My massage therapist was Sherry. She's your gal if you want a vigorous rub-down, akin to what one might do to a horse. I asked her for a deep tissue massage and asked her to focus on my lower back; she said she'd like to work on my glutes as well, as back problems are often linked to tightness there. I said fine, but she barely touched my lower back OR my glutes. This was hands-down the worst massage I have ever received. Sherry clearly did not know how to do deep tissue massage. She did a lot of rubbing and at one point shook me as if she were making a martini. I was going to ask her to go deeper, but was honestly afraid she might do more damage than good. So I leave $95 poorer (which is how much I pay for an EXCELLENT deep tissue massage in Northern VA -- I don't I expect to pay that here!) and sorely disappointed. I'll not be getting a massage here in the future. That said, the staff were super friendly and the rooms clean. Other services, I would hope, may be better. read more

Spa pedicure was fabulous! So for $20-$30 more than a mall pedicure you get an hour long foot pamper with a cocktail and chocolate. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing and decor is very nice. So my favorite part...the warm wax with warm booties over..wow!!! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a plush robe and more cock read more

Very professional, clean and relaxing. Wonderful views of the Blue Ridge and rolling valley while I enjoyed a pedicure. Better than a mall nail salon; not a super luxurious spa. Reasonable rates for a resort and highly recommend. read more

Had a couples massage with the love of my life. The entrance/lobby is upscale and has a water feature one the wall that automatically sends you into relaxation mode. I had the signature massage with Danielle and she was AMAZING! The only reason I am not giving a higher rating is because there aren't really any more amenities that come with the facility itself. It would have been nice to have use of a sauna, steam room, something. I've had massages in many places and the facility at Massanutten could use a few more standard amenities just to make you want to stick around after or before your massage. However, I would recommend based on the quality of my massage. read more

My hubby and I took a weekend getway to check out the caverns and spa. I called here for a couples massage with reflexology package and couples pedicure. The spa was very relaxing and modern and the staff were friendly. They are very thourough with paperwork because they want to make sure of your nedical history. We both enjoyed the packages and we plan on returning when we make another trip in the area. read more

Amazing massage. I had the Signature Massage with Rebecca... She was amazing!!!! I felt on cloud nine. She made sure to get areas in my back that I told her to focus on. With the signature package, she gave me a foot rub as well a mask for my eyes to continue to relax. She was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable. This is my second time have her for a massage 2 yrs in a row and I am glad the service she provided was consistent. If you want to relax and want someone who is trustworthy especially since your going to spend around $110, ask for Rebecca. There are 2 Rebecca's. I had the tall one. Can't wait to come back again! read more

Enjoyed a hot stone massage. Atmosphere was very relaxing and everyone was very pleasant.

This is a classic example of you get what you pay for! While I found this spa to be inexpensive - the services rendered matched. The facial and massage took 2 1/2hours but so too did the mani/pedi. Well actually I didn't get a pedi becuase I was born without 3 toenails and while 2 grew small patches and one did not the nail tech wouldn't give me a pedi. So from 2:30 til 4:00 pm I received a maniure - that's right 1 1/2 hours for a manicure. She didnt do a very good job either. I would find another place for a day of relaxation - the day at the Spa Botique really stressed me out! read more

I have a stressful job and was out at Massanutten on a work-related trip for the week, an expense paid trip, and I was traveling with a buddy of mine from work. I twas nice for the two of us to get Swedish massages. On Monday, January 26, Heather was my masseuse and it was a great massage. I do not receive massages often but I like a masseuse who does not engage in conversation right at the beginning. The massage was very relaxing and Heather helped me discover tight muscles I was not aware of. read more

My husband and I got a couples massage and it was one of the best of my life. I've worked in many spas and had lots of massages and I was more than pleased. They use hot towels all over my body which was very relaxing. I will recommend a massage here over and over again. If I lived closer I would come here all the time. read more
