My wife Judy WE are Volunteer WA. State Park Camp Hosts at Dosewallips State Park in Brinnon, WA. August 2019

IT'S SUMMER 2018 ...and everyone in the state seemed to be pulling into the BLADE, RV Service and Repair parking lot this 3rd week of August when I did. I mean, what happened...did they not get their RV's serviced or repaired over the winter months and be ready for this summer or were they like me, they did get their RV's winterized but they just now found something broken so they brought their RV's in? Well, that was me! However, BLADE RV service manager, Jon Hill took care of me, PRONTO,when I dropped and left my 30' Komfort 5th in his care. He had the units refrigerator diagnosed and installed a new component that got running cool again. Jon is very knowledgable about RV trailers and can highly articulate himself to an average senior like me. My wife and will be purchasing our second RV 5th wheel, this time brand new from BLADE RV Sales next year when she retires as we can attest over the past four years, that BLADE is the best for sales and service. If you're RV is in need of service, get'r done at BLADE RV Service and get out there camping like I did. ...and DO have a wonderful and safe summertime out there!

    Shelton, $17 bucks a night.

I have been dealing with Blade RV now for over a year, my wife and I purchased an Open Range for a great deal and made sure they added the items I wanted. (Dual 6v batteries, clean transfer of my hitch and larger propane tanks) We have used the Service department three times now, 1st time was for a delivery problem with my awning and some lights were out on the interior. 2nd was for more minor fixes. 3rd was Major fixes (keep in mind we go twice a month camping) Awning, stove fan, interior lights, wheel cover, slideout propane hose, separating front nose, bathroom track and interior furniture problems. Everything was covered under my 2 year factory warranty and I didn't even have to use my extended coverage. If your going to buy a 216RBS, or any Open Range I would highly recommend Brett in sales and Carl in service.

They did this in a timely manner and for a very reasonable price. Recently we were on our way from Anacortes to Idaho to meet up with family. While inspecting the wheels I noticed a leak on our rear axel. I called Freightliner and Keith answered the phone. He said that while he did not have time in the schedule he was willing to look at the problem to diagnose what the problem was. Keith spent a few minutes tightening some bolts and checking the fluid levels and sent us on our way with confidence. Thank you Keith for being a great guy willing to help us out in a pinch, and thank you Freightliner for fostering a culture that allows him to do that. My only wish for this location is that they had more time for RV service since it can take a while to get in a get a problem solved.

I recently had the dash air on my motor home repaired at Valley Freightliner and the service was excellent. From the time I first called until I drove away with the repairs completed every person with whom I spoke was totally courteous and knowledgeable. A particularly nice service is a personal update each morning via email explaining what has been done the previous day and what is planned for this. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle the service representative provided me with a thorough explanation of work done as well as a detailed review of the charges. The final charges were exactly as I had been quoted at the beginning. When I asked for some extra information to be included on the invoice. The service representative did not ask why I would need such information or imply it was inconvenient. She simply re-prepared my invoice with a smile. Sometimes little things can tell a great deal about a company. After driving home with my air conditioner working perfectly I opened the access panels to see the new parts. Just curiosity. I noticed a couple of original hoses now had sections of large wire spaghetti secured over the hose. These were hoses not connected to this repair. It took me a minute to figure that out. The technician working on my air conditioner had apparently noticed that the hoses had been rubbing on frame structure. He took the initiative to protect those hoses from damage. Not a big thing but a nice extra that says a great deal about that technician and about Valley Freightliner.

I worked with Mike Zimmerman, who met me the same day I called and helped me do a thorough evaluation of the trailer I came to see. Making the actual purchase was a fair and easy process - with no pressure. Our discussions about price and terms felt relaxed and comfortable - and they made a lot of adjustments to help it work out for me. Bill, the Manager, generously (and unexpectedly} included some repairs as well as a needed part that was missing at no extra cost to me. They just surprised me when I picked it up! Truly it was one of the best buying experiences I've had at a dealership. After it was detailed and safety checked, my license and forms were all ready to go - so even the paperwork was a breeze. The service crew did a fantastic job of resealing a window gasket as well as making the older trailer I purchased look in top form. Everyone at Everett Poulsbo RV showed genuine customer care, and made sure that everything went well with my purchase - from initial visit through rolling it off the lot! I highly recommend doing business here!

My family and I went into Camping World genuinely excited to see a used Brinkley travel trailer we…read morehad researched extensively online. We were paired with a salesperson who, to his credit, seemed knowledgeable about RVs overall. However, it became clear very quickly that he was far more interested in showing us new rigs rather than the actual unit we came to see. When we arrived at the Brinkley trailer, it was dusk. The trailer was very dark inside, and when he opened the door, we could barely see anything. We had to use the flashlights on our phones just to see what little we took the time to see given the silence of the sales person who clearly wasn't interested in showing us this rig. Did he offer to bring a jump kit or portable light so we could properly inspect it? No. Did he walk us through the unit, highlight features, flaws, or basics? No. Did he appear remotely interested in showing a used unit? Absolutely not. Instead, he redirected us toward new models--units that have clearly been sitting untouched on the lot--insisting they were "top quality." He even attempted to pitch lower-grade materials as premium, including countertops we knew would melt if a hot plate was set on it. We asked about top sellers and were told it was the Keystone and Coleman trailers. When we asked who owns Keystone, he said Thor. When we asked about Thor's declining reputation, well-documented quality issues, and financial concerns, we were confidently told, "Oh no, they're doing great." This was completely contrary to our research. By this point, it felt like he saw us as a waste of time because we were only there to see a used brand. We were brought back to his office, handed photocopied sheets of "information" meant to steer us toward brands we had researched and weren't interested in--and that, once fed into ChatGPT, were easily debunked with publicly available data. Even funnier, he recommended a specific YouTube reviewer... whom we watched when we got home. That reviewer actually praised Brinkley for their quality and pointed out the very flaws in the brands the salesperson was trying to push. So our simple RV-shopping afternoon turned into a 1-hour round-trip waste of time, disguised behind forced friendliness and insincere sales tactics. We are not experts--we're genuinely trying to learn. But this experience left us feeling dismissed, misled, and pressured toward inventory we didn't want. If you're considering buying an RV, please research everything before stepping foot into any dealership. And if you find a trailer you really love - by all means absolutely hire your own certified RV inspector--do not rely on the one affiliated with the dealer that is going to serve their interest and not yours. Manufacturers have rushed production since the pandemic, and the drop in build quality is real. The last thing anyone wants is to drop their hard-earned money on a rig packed action packed with issues before you've ever had a chance to use it like we are reading about. Bottom line: Camping World was interested in one thing--moving new units--not helping customers find the right RV for their needs. Extremely disappointing experience.
