Les, the owner, said he treats others like he wants to be treated after his shop caused far more damage than was fixed. I'll give this to him. When I asked Les how he'd feel if someone did this to his trailer, he said to take a full refund and never return. My bill was $1.5K, but it will cost me at least triple that to clean up the mess, and complete the worked that I wanted. BTW, Les' battery pitch seems to be a review through line. Easy margin? Took my camper in for a simple systems check, which I was told would cost about $300-$400. When I came back to pick it up they had replaced the water pump without contacting me prior. My bill ended up being nearly $800 so double what I was expecting to pay. The gas was left on and the panels covering some of my appliances were also left half closed causing one to open while I was on the highway. Great place to come if you want unauthorized fixes and make sure to double check everything before you take off. Les' excuse for the panels opening was due to them having a busy day. They wouldn't have been so busy if they didn't spend 2 hours replacing a pump I didn't want replaced. read more

Les was very helpful when I rolled over and did things his way. Les threatened to come to my RV and removed my recently repaired furnace with a Sheriff. I told him to go ahead. Les never submitted parts to my Forever Warranty claiming they would NOT be covered. I contacted my Warranty company and in one call the parts were covered. I will pay Les when I receive those funds. We called Action RV for service to replace the refrigerator drain, to look at the electric service on the water heater and to fix the gas oven. Total bill was over $1,400 and when we called to tell them that the oven wasn't working, the owner told us rudely that they were busy and that there was no warranty on the work because out 5th wheel was almost ten years old. We were very disappointed in the fact that 'even Camping World offers a 90 guarantee on it's service.' Won't recommend them for anyone owning a coach more than a year or two old. Price seemed high before we found out they DON'T stand behind their work. :( read more

I recently had a power issue with my camper and couldn't figure out what was causing it. I called Action RV to see if I could get a mobile repair visit set up. They were unfortunately booked all week and I couldn't wait (temps were in the 30s and I live in my camper). Les was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to walk me through the problem. Turns out that my power plug had zapped the neutral prong and needed to be replaced. Les had the part in stock and walked me through how to replace the plug- I'm certainly no electrician and was nervous. Part of the electrical system went out in my motor home while staying at a KOA. The were too busy to come to check it out but did take time to listen to my description of the problems. Les said it sounds like the converter went out but he would have to check if they had any in stock and call me back. He did call me back to say they had one so packed up the rig and drove in to pick it up. Les and the others working there were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would have given them 5 stars except they charge double what Amazon charges for the same unit. I know that some of that extra cost pays for me to talk to an expert but my wife called around and two other shops sell the same model for $270.00 instead of the $378.00 Action RV charges. In observing the techs working on other RVs I believe that this is a shop that you can trust your rig with, just be setting down when you get the bill. read more

The Thetford water modular that is behind the Thetford toilet broke and sprung a leak every time I turned on the water pump in my RV. I took the toilet apart, took off the old water modular and installed a new one. I bolted the toilet back down to the floor but I couldn't get the plumbing to go together. I didn't have the correct tool, nor did I have the strength to twist it together. I drove over to Action RV in Burlington, WA from Camano Island, and as usual, they are so accommodating and eager to help you. First I was told they are booked solid three weeks out. I told Les I just need five or ten minutes to have someone use the right tool to tighten the pipes and stop it from leaking every time I turn on the water pump. Les had one of his technicians take a look at it, walk back out of the RV to get the tool, and sure enough, he fixed everything within ten minutes or less. The technician said it was a special tool that he made himself to fix my toilet dilemma. I might add, I drove over to a RV repair shop on Camano Island where I live, and the guy wouldn't even come out of his house to talk to me. When I was talking to him on the phone, I told him all I needed was a special tool and five or 10 minutes of his time. He wouldn't even budge. I left there so frustrated and upset, I decided to go to my favorite place for help, Action RV. I offered to pay them for their time, and they wouldn't accept any payment. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience here. Well a couple. The first time we needed their assistance, we were experiencing leaking from our bathroom sink, maybe toilet or kitchen sink. We had their mobile unit come out to our site, as we are full timing it. Their mobile fees there are already very steep, arrival fee and then an hourly fee. Our problem was that after traveling across the US and back, our fixtures had all become loose, and we needed a special little tool to tighten them up. The service worker recognized the problem right away and had everything tightened in about 15 mins but was extremely talkative and burned through an hour like nothing. That was about a $300 fix. Our next experience, which is the reason I felt obligated to write this review. We were experiencing a sluggish grey water valve, which was getting worse and harder to pull in or out with every use. We took our rig in to have the valve replaced. After dropping the belly, they called us to come back within an hour, they said they were unable to work on the valve, that it was a manufacturers flaw, that the cables were intertwined and we're just going to have to live with it. They zipped up the belly and charged us $350 bucks for labor to drop the belly. Well the valve got worse until it wouldn't close anymore. Meanwhile, awhile back a mobile guy had been recommended to us by our RV community. Everyone (the full timers) reported having excellent experiences with him. We had Nick do a couple of things which we were pleased with and asked him if he knew if our make and model had a design flaw in the valve system, Nick said not with his experience. He ordered the part, arrived the next day and had our valve replaced within a 1/2 hr. All under $300 (parts and labor). Nick also said "I sealed up the under belly real good, whoever did it the last time, did a crappy job" Well thank you Action Rv for taking advantage of us, twice. It won't happen again. read more

Had our water heater replaced in our RV and while there the service rep found a problem with the electrical power into the RV also our batteries I would highly recommend their service, Tony the service rep corrected all of the problems along with a explanation as to why these problems had happened, their fair honest and a great company to deal with and will definitely continue to use them in the future. read more

During a cross country trip, found that all my propane appliances stopped working after shutting off the main valve when riding the Washington Ferry. Local Camping World recommended Action RV. Les and his crew took me in within an hour and his technician, Tony Marandola, quickly discovered a stuck ball valve just past main shut off. I was back on the road within the hour! We contacted Les when our 5 year old fridge died in our Arctic Fox 5th wheel. We had used 1 week a year so 5 weeks total but when we were selling our home moved into it full time. I talked to Les on the phone and he helped me troubleshoot it and said to call back with results which we did, it had to be repaired (if possible) or replaced. Since we needed to be sure we opted for replacement. This is where the top notch customer service comes in. He searched high and low for a new Norcold fridge for us and finally found 1 (they are on back order for 6 to 8 months due to Covid) and ordered it for us. When it arrived he found it was damaged and sent it back. He then called us to explore our options and let us know he could get a different brand that was available but more expensive. He honored our original agreed upon price and appointment day and time pending it arriving to them undamaged. The day before our appointment he called again to let us know it was a go. Tim and Jeremy arrived on time and were so polite, super informative every step of the way of what and why they were doing and after the install left no trace of being in the trailer. They also offered some extra wisdom about our trailer that nobody had mentioned before. I would never call another company and although we had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment and parts it was so worth it. They are 5 stars in our book, very honest, reliable and communication was excellent. Les also helped us fix a leak by having us pick up a part at his store, and telling us how to fix it ourselves since they were booked out so far, and it worked out perfectly. We were planned, prepared and ready to go. As many, we had systems ready - check , RV loaded - check. One last check: run the propane refrigerator and furnace for functional confirmation through the night followed by an early departure. So . . . up early roaring to go and DANG - sometime through the night, the furnace quit functioning! Ahhhh, there goes our schedule - out the window! Immediately called our repair shop: Action RV Services in Burlington WA. The proprietor, Les, said he'd have the "Boys" check it out so bring it in. Within hours, Les called and explained that due to the factory installed screens on the intake and exhaust ports on the exterior of the RV, air-flow restrictions were created, burning out the furnace's "brain!" Man that was quick and thorough! My hat is off to 'Les and the Boys' for helping me down the road. A few hours delay but we were able to make our timely destination.
