From start to finish, dealing with Craig made the experience easy. He had great ideas with suggestions for design, what materials would work best for our plans and his budget was easy on the pocketbook. Craig's experience and attention to detail building the patio showed in the final product. It also gave us great confidence seeing Craig working along side his crew. It says a lot for a company when the owner is right in there, getting the job done. I will definitely recommend GTS Landscaping to anyone who is looking for a reputable company to handle their landscaping needs.

They also built us a stone retaining wall flower bed that looks fantastic. GTS put in full days and it was a pleasure to deal with Craig, Sam and the whole team. They paid close attention to all of the details which is so appreciated and each team member was friendly and great at their job. They were organized and cleaned up the site and even power washed the area at the end of the project. We are so happy with the end result and would highly recommend them for landscaping projects!

I hired Pillars of Earth to do snow removal at my new house before I moved in, three times over…read moreabout a month. (I didn't move in right away because I was having renovations done.) They promised to take photos of their work, so I wouldn't even have to travel to the house to make sure it was good. The first time, I had forgotten to leave outdoor lights on, so they were unable to clear the stairs down to the basement door in the dark, but they came back and did that the next day. The photos were a little delayed, but when they arrived, showed that Pillars of Earth had done a wonderful job clearing the snow in all the areas I asked (sidewalk, pathways up to the door, the garage, around the side of the house). There was a little bit of ice in a couple places but enough clear path to walk on. This was confirmed when I went to the house a little later on. The second time, they did a great job again, absolutely no complaints, and they sent photos again. The third time, I gave them very little warning, as I wanted the paths to be clear in time for moving day. I didn't hear back until after they had already done the work, the day after I requested it. They had taken photos as usual, and they didn't even charge me, as a housewarming gift! So in short: Pillars of Earth does a great job of removing snow, receives payment by etransfer, works on pretty short notice (generally a couple days), and is happy to do special things like taking photos of their work. The person I booked with, Tony, communicates by email and text (but not phone, due to lack of hearing, which is fine by me), and is very pleasant and nice! I definitely recommend Pillars of Earth for snow removal, and I'll be looking into their winter plan where they come whenever needed for a monthly fee.

I contracted them to trim my apple tree and remove some cedar shrubs. They came several months…read moreahead of time to estimate that job. As this was a small job they would get to it in between jobs. As the summer was quite wet it took several months to come to the site for the job. They scheduled the job but missed the scheduled day by about a week without notice. The day they came, they trimmed the tree quite poorly (basically chopped the top off), and left the stumps for the cedar shrubs even though I asked them to remove the stumps. I emailed the manager and complained, the manager was quite sympathetic and had the supervisor of the crew call me to resolve. The supervisor was argumentative and dismissive of my complaints. He offered no resolution other than they can come back and re-do the job (note this is an hourly contract - so additional costs) by taking direction from me. I'm not a licensed arborist - that is why I hired them. I said I'll take care of what was missed, not offered any compensation or discount. I was very disappointed. I would not use this company again.
