We had to have passed a dozen employees where no one spoke at all... but Bertha went completely out of her way to reach us. She gave us some good suggestions on foods and event told us alittle bit about herself and how much she loves her job. She even gave us some cool facts about the meats that come to Ingles 82. The store was super clean with even cleaner bathrooms. We have family visiting and FoodCity produce department was beautifully stocked... I attached a picture. Fresh Eastern Peaches, with leaves attached. That's not a cantaloupe, my father called that a musk melon. They don't come from Guatemala or California, they come from Georgia and North Carolina and Virginia and they're sweet as candy. To their credit, they had several checkout lanes open and seemed to be focusing on the customers. So hopefully once the rush settled the boxes of jalapeños and potatoes were cleared quickly.
