A local at the counter and the owner both recommended the Kentucky Burbon pie so we had a slice. It was good and fun to try a regional food. I was wishing we'd have been hungry for lunch as it looked like a great place. I was impressed they use cute, cloth napkins. The little things matter to me and I like the environmental care. Lots of take and bake options in the freezer. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!

Very nice and clean store with a variety of selections in all departments…read more Produce was average. Apples were withered as if they'd been frozen before delivery. Strawberries were all spoiled. Red seedless grapes were few to pick from that weren't smashed. Kind of disappointing because this is the 2nd store I've been to and the first to have poor looking produce. Red Meats were bright and colorful. Pork rib selection was very limited -only carried St. Louis and we're very expensive ($25) for one slab. A large variety of seafood selections. Customer service was beyond reproach! I went through the self checkout and the young lady assisting was so kind and helped me numerous times navigating through the menus. The menu for checking out produce is not the easiest and can be a little cumbersome. I was able to use my own bags as some stores will not allow it.

They are known for their Bourbon Beans so we tried them. They were fantastic. They're still growing and have a ways to go with their place, but I would defintely recommend stopping there for your lunch or dinner, and definitely would trust them with your catering event like tailgates, parties and graduation open houses. They're difficult to find and need to work on signage, but once you're there, you'll be in BBQ Heaven!

The brisket had a good mixture of lean and fatty meat, and a perfect smoke that really didn't need any sauce, but the bourbon sauce added a savory heat that was excellent. The real surprise was the bourbon beans! This blend of black and pinto beans with peppers, onions and bacon is sitting in a brilliant sauce with an amazing sweet heat and is thin enough to imbue the flavor without being a thick brown-sugar soup... a definite must have! The staff were very friendly as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was price and setting. Based on the interior which appears to still be under some construction, I'm assuming they have only recently moved into the space... which is fine, however, for table service I would expect something more that styrofoam to-go containers and plastic utensils. And, although the quality of the food is quite good and portions are nice, $21 for one bbq meat and two sides is a bit on the high side. So, if you are moving through the area and are looking for good bbq, (and don't mind paying a bit more and being served in styrofoam) it's definitely worth stopping by.
