I'm a customer of Walmart at least once a week, this is my second time checking out with Danny not only is she courteous kind and genuine,she put all my groceries and acessories in my cart, because I had lower back problems. This Wal-Mart (pronounced Wal-Mart's in these here part's) gets three stars because the employees are attentive and not rushed by the year 2012. Of course, this could also be a big minus in your book! Me personally, I don't mind a little rudeness if the service is swift (like one would get in Manhattan) and I don't mind slower service if you get a grand helping of Southern grace and a side of sweet sugar apples, babies. Jajaj!!! Step into this Wal-Mart and experience the look, feel, dress style and ways of 1990. It is seriously a trip and a half! We shopped here a few times while on vacation. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cleanest Walmart I have ever been in.

The only reason why I go here is because I have to unless I want to travel 30 minutes to an hour to a decent one in this small town it's either here or Dollar General. First thing I hate about them is they are definitely coupon Nazis and 2nd be their awful customer service. Shout out to Debbie in electronics.. she treated me and my son like we were invisible today when I needed help... The Marion Virginia Walmart was the absolute worst shopping experience I have had with a retail store in quite a while. In fact, my most recent experience at this store was quite exceptional and not in a good way! The employees, particularly the CSMs at this store do nothing but complain, play games on their cell phones and completely disrespect the customer on all levels. They try at every turn to avoid honoring price matches or coupon discounts and will even go so far as to peg you as a 'troublemaker' if your purchases require them to override too many items. I am an avid user of coupons and price match deals whenever applicable. The Marion store manager actually made the statement that I nearly stole one item by using their price match policy and refused to honor the same price match on the same item the next day when I returned asking for 1 more of the same item for the same deal to complete my Christmas shopping. Whilst I was attempting to request the price match on my item, a CSM who has a known and persistent bad attitude made it a point to summon multiple store associates to the area drawing attention and pointing at me. I was profiled at this store and treated like a common criminal. She also had the manager come over at which point he expressed his personal views on my price match which was basically that my deal was so much of a discount that I might as well just steal the merchandise. This store does not honor existing price match policies or coupon policies even whenever copies from corporate are produced for them and referenced to their exact location from which they can obtain their own copies along with the printed competitor's ad. If you don't want to be profiled and treated like a common thief, stay away from the Walmart in Marion Virginia. It's not even a super center and the selections are poor at best when it comes to the rest of their departments. And a note to any of the employees who may be reading this-- I do not care what you think. If you don't like what I have to say then maybe you should stop judging everyone based upon their outward appearance or presumed level of intelligence.
