I would argue calling this crust deep dish instead of Detroit style is a little misleading especially with its thick, airy, caramelized crust. Saying that we are happy to have found this Blackjack location is a legit understatement. The pizza is ALWAYS fresh, well made and just delish. Consistency, and quality food is definitely something these guys have got down pat! Delivery's are effiecent and pickups are a breeze! I always order our pizza from here since our address goes to this location and everytime I am met with disappointment to see I have no ranch that I PAY for! This time in particular when our order arrived my husband asked the driver if our ranch was in there and he checked and said yes. Big lie. No ranch! When the owner called me back I said I wanted a refund. I didnt even want the pizza anymore. I only order from here for the ranch with my pizza. Mike the owner didn't like that and told him to do him a favor and never order from there again. Hope you fix your awful business practices or move on! OMG! My 3rd review and OMG- I can't say enough but I'm going too! These guys Rock! I really appreciate their attention to details because I like to change things up as for my pizza and they never fail with delivering the exact pizza we desire and the wings, the sauce- which I always order extra and even freeze for left overs that's just me. Had this place for delivery more times than I can count, so it should speak to how much I enjoy it for cheap pizza. So whole hearted honest truth, not a fan of their regular pan pizza. We used the coupon we got in the mail and paid $18 for large pepperoni pizza, cheesy sticks and a pint of ice cream. It was a great deal. The ice cream was blue bell, so you know it was good. My husband and I have been diehard Garlic Knot fans for years. Tonight we decided to try Blackjack Pizza, since we had recently received a coupon in the mail. Wow! We were blown away! We ordered the Square Pan Pizza, and it was AMAZING! The crust is so much better than Garlic Knot's, the sauce is perfect, the cheese is excellent, and the ingredients are superior! My husband is a ranch dressing snob, and he exclaimed, "even the ranch is homemade "! In the future, we will only order from Blackjack. I never asked for my pizza to be left on my front porch. I'm aware that's an option but I did not ever push that option. We were waiting and waiting well after it said it should arrive. Before I was about to call the store I looked outside and saw the food sitting on the ground. We now get to eat cold pizza because someone was lazy and couldn't ring a doorbell or even knock before leaving the pizza on the ground. Family wanted pizza so we decided to tryout Blackjack Pizza and Salads. Oh my goodness. Spent $80 which included tip. Very disappointed not because of the money spent but the way our food was. The good first is the square pizza & cheese sticks were really good but my cinnamon sticks was so coated with icing that it was spilling out from the box and got a bit messy. The other three pizzas were so loaded with sauce and toppings that they were soggy and super greasy. Last was our wings, they were so so soggy because there was more sauce than wings they had to be thrown away. We dont normally order from Blackjack but decided to give it a shot. I ordered 2 pizzas and cheese sticks. One of the pizzas was burnt and not edible (the crust was black) and both of the sauces were open and on there side in the cheese stick box. Needless to say the box was a greasy mess and there was no sauce to dip in. I gave it 3 stars because they did redeliver the burned pizza (40) min later and the food was good. Truly deeply bad. It arrived cold. The cheese was congealed and flavorless. The veggies were limp and undercooked, even though I ordered extra crispy. And the texture wasn't the least bit crispy, more like stale pita. Meanwhile, the Caesar salad had wilted lettuce, few croutons, merely a shake or two of Kraft parmesan rather than actual cheese, and these weird strips of processed American chicken stuff that were the consistency of tofu in the shape of a julienned carrot. I love the 2 extra large pizza special ... I just wish they would bring back the 5 topping 2 extra large deal ... Not very may pizza places here offer green chile as a topping, but it is amazing and BlackJack offers it and yes it is amazing ...
