I'm a mom of a High School student who was looking for a party buss for the prom. I do not…read morerecommend doing busyness with Hollywood Transportation. I don't believe they know what they are doing. The entire bysness transaction was extremely stressful. First, they said they couldn't guarantee the date until my forms and payment was submitted and approved. That would take a while, but would not tell me how long. Further more, if someone else would submit the form while mine was being processed I would not be guaranteed the bus. I offered them to charge my card over the phone with the down payment to lock in the date but still I could not get a straight answer from them even when I asked, "can you tell me if I have the bus or not?" It took 2 days and many phone and text messages of this back and forth. Still, they would not guarantee the bus. In the mean time I was running out of options, because the closer you get to Prom season the higher the prices and the less options you have available. When I asked Jose the owner what's the delay on charging the $90 for my down payment he said, "how do I know this is really your card." I replied, "What, why would you think such a thing." I've been working with you to guarantee me a party bus for 2 days and to lock in the date, why would I spend this kind of time trying to pay you the $90 down payment and then give you a fake identity, over 90 dallars, who does that?" It appeared as though he was waiting for the highest bidder. I would not have done business with Hollywood Transportation, but a month prior to the prom all other companies were booked with no party busses available. I must have called at least 7 or 8 party services. This was the only party bus company left with a bus, but now I understand why, because who would want to do business with their shenanigans, miss leading practices. The only bus available was for 20 kids, but I had 25 kids that needed a ride. Jose texted me saying 25 could fit on the bus, as long as, some would sit on each other. I agreed. When the party buss arrived the driver said he could only take 20. It took 20 min. trying to resolve this dilemma between the driver Jose and I. I had concerned parents wondering if their child would have to get off the bus. I had kids scared they would not get to ride to the prom even when they had promptly paid in advance to get on the bus. How insensitive of Jose to wait until prom day and bus pick up time to tell me he would not allow 5 students. The only way Jose would let 5 more students on the bus was not for safety reasons but instead he asked that I pay an extra $300. I couldn't believe it. I was being ripped off and so were the students. This should have been a stress free memorable experience to the prom. Shame on Hollywood Transportation and shame on Jose who can not do business with transparancy and good morals. I had no choice but to pay what he was asking for. Jose put it in a text message, "if you don't pay by 9pm the driver will not pick up from the prom location. Having the parents pick up their kids from the prom location was not an option for it was 55 to 60 miles away from home. Please, avoid Hollywood Transportation.

These are all people who really care about making everyone just as comfortable and happy as humanly possible. The first year, the first trip, is so enjoyable. You sit down to a meal with strangers and, unlike the usual travel experience where you talk awkwardly about where you are from and perhaps the weather, you're seated with people who have been on the exact same journey you have. Within 5 minutes, you're friends. The second year, the second trip, you generally start seeing your friends from the first trip while you're still on the airplane en route. When you get to where you all are going, you feel like you just arrived home for the holidays, one of those really, really happy homes, like in the movies.
