I've…read morelived in Ocala for about 3 years and have been a boarder and employee at several farms all over the Ocala area and I can honestly say this is definitely a great farm. For full care, it's average price for the area and everyone is open to their own feed and turnout schedules. I visit the farm 1-2x daily, and all of the horses on the farm are always happy and fed in a timely matter. The owners are fantastic, they're always a text or phone call away and easy to work with. The other boarders are also very easy to get along with and the barn has a great atmosphere. The grounds are kept tidy and I've never experienced any issues here!

You have the option to add on grooming, exercise, and other services as you wish, my blanket which was placed on my horse by staff when it got particularly cold, was then stored away during warmer months so I didn't have to haul it home with me. The environment is safe and professional. My horse never sustained any scarring or injuries in this facility's care, and I was guided and assisted as needed when I first started out with my horse. Overall there was a great amount of knowledge and support. I'd highly recommend this place, and if more services are needed or wanted for your horse, you are able to customize your care or add extra services for a price of course, as with any business. Or you're welcome to come anytime you'd like to see your horse and add to their care on your own. There was always that flexibility and I enjoyed the independence I also had if I wanted it and when I was ready for it. It's surprising to see a 1 star review here, and it appears to be from the same individual who took the time to create a second account? It is surprising as it is the opposite of the experience I had. It sounds like there was a certain level of disgruntlement here and when there is perhaps a difficulty in maintaining integrity, professionalism, and emotional regulation in the face of something upsetting, one might take to social media and reviews in order to feel they have gotten their revenge and had their say. I am simply mentioning this due to the fact that it's shocking and surprising to see this and is complete contrast to what I and others I know experienced here. I had an overall wonderful experience and learned so much during my time here and know other barn goes here who wouldn't go anywhere else. I would have kept my horse here, but my dream was always to have my horses at home and once my property was ready, I took my boy home. I however continued to take lessons here.

She was always feed on time, in clean surroundings, and checked over regularly for any injuries. The farm owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and responsible. My filly had many horse friends and had the unique opportunity to meet other types of farm animals like goats, cows, capybaras & chickens.
