Not a wise boarding choice, horses kicking and biting, goats ramming not only the horses but you when you go into the pasture. When I got my horse out she had half dozen scars she didn't have before. If you want to pay $475 mo to have food tossed to your horse 2 times a day and nothing more..... it's risky at best! And they pilfer your belongings, still haven't gotten my horses $175 blanket and long lunge whip...They claim they don't have it but they do! Big mistake boarding there. read more

Fantastic business. I have boarded and taken lessons here. My horse was well taken care of and my equipment/tack and supplies were safe and sound inside the air conditioned tack room. You have the option to add on grooming, exercise, and other services as you wish, my blanket which was placed on my horse by staff when it got particularly cold, was then stored away during warmer months so I didn't have to haul it home with me. The environment is safe and professional. My horse never sustained any scarring or injuries in this facility's care, and I was guided and assisted as needed when I first started out with my horse. Overall there was a great amount of knowledge and support. I'd highly recommend this place, and if more services are needed or wanted for your horse, you are able to customize your care or add extra services for a price of course, as with any business. Or you're welcome to come anytime you'd like to see your horse and add to their care on your own. There was always that flexibility and I enjoyed the independence I also had if I wanted it and when I was ready for it. It's surprising to see a 1 star review here, and it appears to be from the same individual who took the time to create a second account? It is surprising as it is the opposite of the experience I had. It sounds like there was a certain level of disgruntlement here and when there is perhaps a difficulty in maintaining integrity, professionalism, and emotional regulation in the face of something upsetting, one might take to social media and reviews in order to feel they have gotten their revenge and had their say. I am simply mentioning this due to the fact that it's shocking and surprising to see this and is complete contrast to what I and others I know experienced here. I had an overall wonderful experience and learned so much during my time here and know other barn goes here who wouldn't go anywhere else. I would have kept my horse here, but my dream was always to have my horses at home and once my property was ready, I took my boy home. I however continued to take lessons here. read more

These stables are as clean and tidy as they come! You can really tell they love their animals and treat the horses, whether theirs or boarders like pure gold! They also offer lessons for all experience levels and helped me to learn exactly what I was lacking as a rider and how to collect myself and my horse gracefully without making me feel like an idiot! I would definitely recommend Charlie at old wire stables if your looking for a new hobby or just brushing up on tour skills!!! read more
