JT coaching helped me to get clear on my personal, relationship and career goals for the next 12…read moremonths. I chose to work with him on my career goal in particular regarding launching a new business. It fit nicely into my already existing 90-day challenges that I use, and enhanced my motivation and drive to maintain my productivity. I created a statement for my business, much like a company mandate, that acts as my compass to ensure my efforts are always aligned with it. For those of you that stray off course, or who are easily distracted, this is a big help to stay on track. Moving forward, James is offering his accountability service as an additional mechanism for me to ensure that I stay on track. This way, all the great momentum generated from our coaching sessions keeps on building. I gotta say that for those of you that are willing to do the work and assignments throughout your coaching sessions, I think you're really going to benefit from them and make progress towards your goal. As for some of the details, we met for 4 weekly sessions that were one hour in duration, and we had mid-week check-ins to make sure that I was on track to completing my assignment(s) for the week. These check-ins lasted anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes and I really think they were a fantastic way to ensure that I completed assignments. And I am grateful that I did the assignments! One thing I really like about James is that he isn't totally rushed. In two of the sessions we went slightly over the one hour allotted because that was just the way the discussion flowed and I can tell that he cared about getting it right. That means a lot to me. One of the things that I would have liked at the start of the sessions was a more detailed outline, because I have a fairly prgmatic personality. As we progressed through the first session though, he made it more clear to me. Full disclosure, I think that when you seek out a coach, you need to be willing to change and do the work required for change to happen. It's not something that you approach as if the work is going to be done for you or done on its own, because quite frankly, the progress is yours to make and achieve. Anyhow, overall I would say that if you have an important issue that you need help getting though so you can move forward confidently, I'd recommend you check out JT Coaching to get it taken care of.
