Certainly left with more than we had planned. Knowledgeable guy at the counter who was very helpful. Am looking forward to checking out their in-store events.

As for the yarn it's exploded since Joann's closed, it seems their storage gills are filled. Hopefully soon they will have another big sale on the yarn to get it moving! Fabrics have also increased and slowly are sewing notions. Seems like the Cricut inventory has been dwindling down and other brands that I do not use are increasing. Also hard to believe that August or even the end of July has become Halloween and Autumn and it was before it was getting sunny.. up here in the mountains! As always friendly and helpful customer service and that they try to keep. someone up front to run the cash register! AFTER several attempts around the country (most don't have a cashier) I figured out the self check out! It seems like a sad ending to fun craft shopping! I miss our quick chat on projects, tips tricks or a sale that I missed! It's just not the same. Also, the weekly coupons - which I noticed around different parts also reduced. Hopefully more BOGO's will come around to help us save money! Looking forward to when I reach my gold level on my Michael's rewards!

Once, the small engine person recommended that I purchase new lawn mower because the cost to repair would come close to purchasing which saved me money in the long run. They always give time estimates for repairs, the closer to prime season the longer the line - plan ahead.

I mostly purchase Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition books, as well as gaming miniatures and painting kits. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have a product available on the shelves, they are very good about fulfilling customer requested special orders. They also runs in shop role-playing game sessions, and even Hero-Clix and Magic the Gathering games! And if you can't make it in for a D&D game, they hold several weekly online events each week.

While doing so I could hear the owner screaming overtop of her about color is perception. I said ok, let me send you some photos next to Mary. We have the ENTIRE collection, purchased directly from them. This was my response via email. "I showed these pictures to the owner of the company. She is aware that there are customers who think the eyes look purple. The company did a lot of research regarding color perception and found that some people are seeing blue, and some see purple. It's all a matter of personal perception." So I called back and stated that this was unacceptable. And the owner again was screaming over poor Jessica. This will be our last purchase @thequeenstreasures.
