This place is the spot for a haircut. All the barbers are dope as hell and know how to fade proper. I followed my barber to this spot Big Rob aka hotdog rob. What can I say that hasn't already been said about this place. The attention to detail offered by the barbers here is unmatched by any other barber shop I have been to. They take close to a full hour on your hair and really make sure that it looks its best! Roman has been the one to cut my hair recently and I always walk out of there with the best haircuts I have ever gotten. I've been going to electric for close to a year now found these guys while searching for a new barber so I went through a lot of bad haircuts before stumbling across the guys at E/B. I've had my hair cut and beard trimmed by all three of the barbers and I was impressed by every cut I got. Found Electric Barbershop by accident one day through Instagram and it led me to a place that I'll continue to support for a very very long time. Never liked getting haircuts before because it seemed like I could never communicate exactly what I wanted, but here at Electric Barbershop none of that has ever happened. Ron, Roman and Ruben are all highly skilled barbers and a big part of that is that they really make sure to be on the same page with whoever is sitting in their chair. They run the shop like it is their home and you will get a good sense of that when you walk in. My haircut terminology is complete trash but that doesn't get in the way here, the end result is always spot on. Nowadays I always look forward to the next visit. With an appointment wait times hardly exists and I advise that you give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking. This review has been a long time in the making. Had a few more visits since starting the first draft and all I can say is that you won't find another place like this. Come experience it for yourself. These guys deserve the support 1000%. What in the literal sense of the word fuck did I just walk in to? I came in to this shop expecting a half assed, rushed haircut from mediocre barbers, but what I received was the exact opposite. These men were without a doubt the most cordial, the most respectful and the most talented barbers I have ever come across. I came to Electric barbershop for the first time this Saturday and had an excellent experience. I had an early flight that day and they made accommodations, so that I would be able to cut my hair at an earlier time. Just FYI I'm driving from Pomona to Downtown Riverside and it's totally worth the drive. I cut my hair with Ruben and he does awesome job! Make sure too book him! 5 stars for a 5 star experience! I actually sent a yelp message well after hours asking about availability, not expecting an answer until the following morning. Much to my surprise I received a response the same night! It's really the little things that matter, and that definitely said something. I reserved a slot with Ruben through their website (I honestly don't know why more places don't utilize online booking). Ruben even called me about 10 minutes prior to my appointment just to confirm. Upon showing up I was immediately greeted by just about every single person in the shop. I gave Ruben a rough run down of what I wanted and he knew just what to do. No rushing either, this man takes his craft seriously, and makes sure he does everything just right. The overall atmosphere was great. Everyone super chill, joking around, and never making it feel like there was some inside joke or whatever, just everyone being super engaging, even customers with other customers. Have to say that this shop is top notch. I have been looking for a good barber that could not only do a good fade but also trim and shape my beard. I walked in with my beard being trimmed uneven from my last barber and was even considering shaving and starting from scratch but Ron was able to save it. I have gone to a lot of different shops in the Los Angeles area and driving out to Riverside is 100% worth the drive. The shop is an old school man's barbershop. This was my first time coming to this barbershop. I recently moved to jurupa valley and my brother recommended me this shop and I have to say it's amazing!! I was immediately greeted when I walked in the shop and I felt welcomed here. Ruben cut my hair and he was very detail oriented asked me what exactly I want with my hair and I have to say he delivered it. The price is reasonable it's $25 for the haircut but they do more than just a haircut. Wow!! Right as I walked in I noticed 3 gentlemen, all young in age but elderly in their barbering craft. I am immediately properly greeted and exchange pleasantries. I am then offered a variety of ice cold beverages. There is timeless classic music playing in the background, anything from reggae to rock to hip-hop. The shop is decorated with an array of art and collectibles, very interesting to look at. Now for the haircut, I had the privilege of having Roman cut my hair (the one with the elegant beard in the left corner). He inquires on exactly how I would like my haircut and he executes with precision. His expertise with the scissors leaves my comb-over looking flawless. His gentle and detailed use of the clippers has my fade looking smoother than butter. His samurai abilities with the straight razor leaves me looking sharper than a freshly forged sword. He then combs my hair with uppercut deluxe pomade, which has me looking like Van Gogh himself styled my hair. Thank you guys for the great experience.
