Came here after reading such great reviews and it did not disappoint! The shop is spotless and has a great vibe. My 2 year old and 4 year old felt comfortable and really appreciated the lollipop when we left. Milan took his time on my 4 year old and left him looking fresh! Can't wait to come back and get my hair cut here. Great to see a small business that cares about great service. read more

My daughter usually cuts her husband's hair. This time she booked an appointment for his haircut for a special engagement. They stayed open late for him and cut his hair and gave him a clean blade shave. I haven't seen him, but I know he's very happy with it! read more

The best barber shop you could ever come to I love their services the owner is the best leader you could ever have!

It took me a while to get around to reviewing the fantastic job that Izzy does at Blend Cut and Shave Studio. Izzy has been giving my sons and myself great haircuts for quite a while now. What a great person and excellent barber shop indeed! If only the world could be filled with more people who put themselves into the moment by moment and really express themselves in the now what a wonderful world it would be... Thanks for being who you are and doing what you do Izzy! Sincerely and with great appreciation, Mark Nickson read more

I was in the market for a new barber shop in the Riverside area because my old barbershop is in Grand Terrace and didn't want to do that drive. I did a search of the best barber shops and this one came up as number one. The shop is right around the corner from my house so that's a plus. Cuts are only $30 so that's another plus. Another plus is that you can make a reservation and they honor it. Not like other shops that make you keep track of who is next or a little notebook you put your name in and pray that the homie doesn't walk in with an "appointment" Angel cut my hair and he did an awesome job. Dude took his time and asked a ton of questions to give me the perfect cut. I like to talk to my barbers to get to know them and he is a good dude. The whole vibe of the shop is cool. I would totally recommend anyone looking for a great cut at a good price to church this place out. This place is cash only and could use a little more signage since it's kind of hidden but other than that, totally worth a 5 star. Looking forward to going back and getting another cut read more

Awesome service, fast efficient and clean, Izzy accommodate your schedule and mindful about your time, highly recommended

Cool shop. A little hard to find. Parking is a little tricky. Talent in the shop seems pretty dope. My guy did a clean fade, cut, and beard clean up. I would definitely recommend. read more

Hands down the best place in Riverside for a cut! Izzy runs a great spot and all his barbers are quality in both their work and relationships. They also offer hair product for whatever your style requires. Call ahead for an appointment unless you don't mind a short wait. Hanging out at Blend is never a bad time either! read more

Consistently good cuts. While other shops are focused on getting the most people in and out as quickly as possible Blend is focused on giving you a quality cut every time. I've tried other shops a few times and keep coming back here. read more

I'm not the "5 star review" kinda guy cuz hardly anything ever lives up to the hype. I was having lunch with my wife up the street, was looking in the area to see what we could do and came across this barbershop. Needed a haircut, saw the amazing Yelp reviews and figured id give it a shot. Didn't have an appointment, didn't call, just walked in and they initially were booked up with existing appointments, which I totally understand but they told me to check out the shop across the street. I walked across the street to the obnoxiously green barbershop only to be quoted $40 for a cut. No thanks. On my walk back to my truck, the owner of Blend Cut and Shave came out, asked me what happened. Told him I didn't wanna pay $40 for a cut so I'm just gonna wait til I can get in closer to home and he told me to come in and he'd take care of me. When I tell you I am AMAZED...you gotta go see for yourself. Not only did I get the best haircut I have EVER had by any barber, but he was FAST. Down to every last strand of hair I have never had such a clean cut. It was good conversation, a great environment, very reasonably priced, and an overall clean and lively barbershop. I live 30 minutes from this shop, but I will be making the drive from here on out just to get cut by Izzy. This man genuinely cared that I was taken care of today. He didn't try to upsell me, didn't try to compete with the price across the street. He was honest and humble and for that I will be returning. Look no further. Book with Izzy. I promise you'll thank me later. P.S. Wifey LOVED my haircut....and let's be honest guys, that's what really counts. read more

For anyone looking to get a fresh fade, look no further and check out my man Izzy. This shop is well organized so you won't be having to wait too long. Make sure you make an appointment tho because Izz can book up fast. The spot itself has some sick modern decor with ample parking around the building. Best barbershop in Riverside no doubt read more

Looking for a closer barbershop, I Called yesterday to make an appointment and was happy to hear they had an appointment for 0700 Saturday morning. For me the earlier the better. Walked in this morning and the guy said they changed it to 1000 without letting me know. This is not the way to make new customers, truly Unprofessional!!! read more

Awesome spot to come for a cut. Got my cut with josh. Couple things that occurred during my cut that just showed they go above and beyond. 1) Josh took extra time to cut my hair. Average clean up is what...maybe 30 minutes? He spent little over an HOUR on my hair. Mind you a mid-cut/fade is something they can do in their sleep probably. And they took me in on the same day appointment which is rare. 2) The relationship they have with their neighboring businesses must be great because there was a night market setup that happens every 1st and 3rd Saturday's of the month and my car was parked in the area where it had to be cleared by 3pm. A next door neighbors business owners kid came by to let me know I better get my car out of there. 3) They care about their customers and future customers. That irate customer that complained about their 7:00am being switched? Loll. Grow up. Honestly mistakes happen regardless of who's fault it was. It is sad that it comes down to keyboard warriors that may discredit someone's business. Anyways, if you made it down this far. The first reason is the main review you need. read more

Definitely recommend this shop to anyone with any kind of hair! They'll be able to do whatever kind of style you are lookin for. Izzy just opened his new shop here! He also brought Timothy with him from the old shop. We were super excited to come out and support him as this is his opening month! He can take any hair style and tailor it to how you ask for it. Any guy that goes in, comes out looking way cleaner than before. My husband and I drive from Irvine to get my husbands' cut with Izzy because he's a true professional who not only makes you feel comfortable in the chair, but leaves your hair looking amazing for weeks! He has 4 chairs set up so I do recommend calling ahead of time and booking an appointment. He has a really calming black, grey, & white color theme with family appropriate music playing. He does cuts-$20, shaves-$24, or $40 for both, beards $12, kids under 12 for $16, & clean ups-$10. It is cash only so make sure to stop at your ATM before arriving. The shop faces Magnolia Ave and is in a shopping plaza with antique shops, thrift stores, and unique boutiques. So ladies while you wait for your guy to get cleaned up, you can shop around! There's also a bus stop right in front so you if you're coming by bus, you get the elite drop off treatment! read more

Izzy has been my barber for 5 years so needless to say, I find his services exceptional. It's only right that following what was nearly a year long battle with cancer, my first time back in a barber chair would be his. To see a young entrepreneur such as himself doing what he loves, the right way, while maintaining integrity, honesty, and quality is truly inspirational. I myself, aspiring to be a business owner can truly attest to the difficulties in maintaining an inviting work place with a smile. This is a barber shop where employees are happy to be there. Where customers feel at home and where everyone feela welcome. Kid friendly, non-judgemental, and all around a primo shop. Great location. Great services. Congratulations on the new venture and best wishes on many years of success. Thanks for getting me vacation ready and I'll be back in 2 weeks! read more

Israel always takes care of me. I always contact him directly, so I know what his availability is. He usually gets me in same day depending on his busy schedule. Love love love how they left my sons hair. Barbers are nice, recommend making an appointment.

Had an 11:30 cut and beard trim I called and booked 2 hours prior. Wait 20 minutes until 11:50 to be told only the cut is happening, no time for a beard trim. Don't go here if you're a timely person with things to do. Not sure how this spot has 5 stars? Found my first time going to a barber shop in this town incredibly wasteful of my time, pretty damn turned off by the entire experience. Will not be going back and would not recommend to ANYONE. read more

THE BEST experience I've ever had taking my son to get a haircut. I don't normally write reviews but this place is seriously the best. From the moment we walked in everyone was super friendly and welcoming. All the barbers were very kind and genuinely want to make sure you have the best experience. I've been to multiple barber shops and never felt welcome and most of the time I felt out of place especially when it's a first time visit so I would resort to finding a family place or a kids haircut place with toys where I know I won't be shunned but most of the time these places just give an average cut but not here!... the barber who cut my sons hair did a great job and was super kind and was talking to him and really made us feel comfortable. I would 100% recommend this place!! read more

I've had my hair cut here a few times over the past few months and I've been happy with the jobs the barbers do each time. I've had Calvin, John and new lady (sorry I don't remember her name) cut my hair and they all did a good job. I'm not super picky about my hair cut so, while the details are all a little different from barber to barber, I've always been happy with the outcome. The rest of the barbers are friendly and greet you when you come in. The price is reasonable- $20 for a regular hair cut (cash only, so don't forget to stop a the ATM). I've never had a problem getting my hair cut when I come in without an appointment, but I still suggest having an appointment, things just go much smoother that way. read more
