Despite the name, the shop is actually slightly off the main Arlington Arcade. I came in for a cut around 3PM on a random Wednesday, and despite the barber probably being exhausted and overworked, she perked up and was one of the friendliest individuals I have ever met. For $15, my cut also included the foam and straight razor finish that you would need to pay extra at other places. There is ample parking on the side lot and some in the street, all free. read more

The older gentleman of the three barbers was the one that gave my BF his cut and it was perfect. He wanted a more older fashion haircut, without those close shaves or anything like that. I have been to this barbershop three times, all the barbers here are very skilled and have lots of experience. Different barbers work on different days, but they all know how to give a nice fade(which is what I always get). I took my friend here once too, and he has wavy, dense hair, whereas mine is straight. They gave him a nice lineup, tapered sides, and were able to trim his top as well, and he asked for a beard trim to finish it off. I personally believe that these barbers can give you the cut you want no matter what type of hair you have. Just communicate and ask questions to make sure you are on the same page. Very small location, has a cozy feel to it, as well as being very old school, from the decor to the music playing in the background, I recommend this place and will continue to come here. Great no-frills classic barber shop, especially for the price. Just $14 (no added tax, cash only!), which is a really good price for this area. It appears to be run by four old dudes with big Duck Dynasty beards. Gives it a small homey feeling. I've gotten my haircut here 3 or 4 times now, and never been disappointed. I really liked my haircut. The staff is very nice too. I'm glad they start conversations with you. It makes for a much more friendly environment. I think my hair looked better before I got it cut here. I asked for a comb over and my hair looks like it was just faded from the sides to the top. There's no defined part from the way it was cut. It looks like I asked for a blowout hairstyle. The straight razor edging did not feel very good. It felt like the razor was dull and rough against my skin. read more

I'd been here once, had a gentleman cut my hair did a good job. Went back again yesterday for another cut and had a woman, I believe Lisa, or an L name. Can't really remember, I was focused more on how she didn't listen to a word I said than her name. I asked for a high fade and about half off the top. She proceeds to take the Zero clipper and run it all the way to the top.. So much for fade.. when I mentioned it, she said, "You mentioned you wanted it cut high". Except for, I still said fade and that's not what I got. As she's cutting the top part she takes a large snip and start laughing and says oops... (SHE CUT WAY MORE OFF THAN SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO...) AGAIN! At this point I was already upset about the whole fade thing and I know I can't really glue it back on so I didn't make a fuss, but inside I was cringing as I had just brought her a head full of hair ready to be sculpted and she just ran it into the sidewalls.. After getting home, I realized the part she had buzzed isn't even.. Had to run my clippers over it to smooth it out and the undercut she gave me isn't even a straight line. I'll be wearing a hat until my hair grows back out to where I can style it again. The way she cut my hair made it so I can't even slick it back without the sides falling and looking messy because she cut the sides way too short. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this spot again. read more

Made an account especially for these guys. I had a distasteful experience with them. First time going there to get a haircut. As I am waiting I notice they don't take credit. Before my haircut I asked if it was okay to get a cut than I would come back with cash. I now know to just go get the cash and come back for the haircut to avoid something like this.
