I got squeezed in on a busy day by Aber who not only has a glowing personality and is super chill and down to earth, but the man's got chops! This dude can really make it happen, no cappin. Im new to the neighborhood so I walked my son over to get a cut from our neighbor Fern'z and I got sent away because I'm a walk-in. They said, "I can get you tomorrow, just call." Then change your status that reads walk-ins welcome. A good shop would've made sure a local kid looks good for his graduation picture, that's business 101 Fern'z, all business is good business. I wish Fern'z luck, but people feel some type of way when they get turned away and there's no going back. So I recommend go to another shop where walk-ins a welcome. My husband got a cut here on Monday and Fernando hooked him up! He hadn't had a cut in 3 years and was apprehensive about going too short (I wanted him to get a fade of sorts), but Fernando interpreted his request above and beyond what both of us were expecting. He also trimmed up his beard very nicely. My husband says he'll definitely return in a few weeks. It's also really clean, there are drinks available for purchase and everyone is friendly. But I am a victim of domestic abuse and was in the middle of a 911 call and there's a huge dip in the parking lot located right across the barber shop that I completely missed and ended up needed help getting my car literally out of the huge dip. I drive by this place all the time, thought id check it out. This place is nice, Barbers make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Understand that places get busy and you may need to wait, but i was a walk in and and was seated less than 15 minutes after i walked in. Was cut by Alan (Alan the barber) . I've been here a few times with my sister to get haircuts for my nephews. I, myself, have also been given haircuts by three different gentlemen. I've never experienced any trouble and have been treated with nothing but respect for both my sister and I. Fernz attracts a lot of customers and reading another review about cat-calling, I find it hard to believe any of these barbers did the actual deed. I visited both locations and at first I was very disappointed because they do acknowledge you and as far as waiting FYI there is an appointment process be aware of that it is 25 dollars which is a life saver .
