There's a Taqueria in the back, where you can order delicious food, and a butcher that provides all sorts of different cuts of meat. The fresh produce section is well-stocked, and you can find everything you need to make authentic dishes. I decided to try the Taqueria and ordered several different tacos and a tamale. The tacos were particularly impressive, with the shells crisped to perfection. The pork tamale was also quite tasty. As they do make fresh tortillas you're able to call in and request the size and how many you're looking for in the morning. Since it was my first time here, I had to explore the aisles of goods I was interested in. The one and only staff was very kind to show me where things are and explained they are also organizing the store. She was genuinely kind to explain some things to me and even gave me pointers how to make my snacks more enjoyable. I like that! They have a lot to offer from Indian to Pakistan goods as well. I was able to read off the ingredients over the phone and they mixed up a blend that was available the same day. They provided a receipt with the quantities of the order included which I can use to get more made if necessary. When my parents went to pick up the tea they noticed how nice and clean the shop was and said the staff was incredibly helpful. Not only has the tea been helping but it was a significantly better price than the pre-made blend I had ordered. I would 100% recommend Chai Cupboard.
