A friend recommended Carniceria Los Compadres in Everett, WA, and it did not disappoint. This store is a good size and offers a wide variety of selections. There's a Taqueria in the back, where you can order delicious food, and a butcher that provides all sorts of different cuts of meat. The fresh produce section is well-stocked, and you can find everything you need to make authentic dishes. I decided to try the Taqueria and ordered several different tacos and a tamale. The tacos were particularly impressive, with the shells crisped to perfection. The pork tamale was also quite tasty. As they do make fresh tortillas you're able to call in and request the size and how many you're looking for in the morning. Overall, Carniceria Los Compadres is a great spot for anyone looking for authentic Mexican ingredients and dishes in the Everett area.

There's a case of ready made snacks/desserts up front and a selection of fresh veggies and bags of basmati rice in the back. I took a delicious rose water lassi for the road from another cold case and my husband tried a salted one. Unfortunately, the owner was late enough. There were a few people who waited around with us to see if the store will open. As it did, we all rushed in to get our shopping done. Since it was my first time here, I had to explore the aisles of goods I was interested in. The one and only staff was very kind to show me where things are and explained they are also organizing the store. She was genuinely kind to explain some things to me and even gave me pointers how to make my snacks more enjoyable. I like that! They have a lot to offer from Indian to Pakistan goods as well. Awesome place if you ask me! I found my snacks and they are healthy as well as spicy good. I'm sold!
