Immediately upon entering the market I found their towns time capsule. The park this market is at is perfect for a stroll and when you buy food from one of the local vendors you can find a nice spot on the grass to enjoy it. There were a lot of Christmas themed booths and toy drives plus a duo reading Christmas stories on stage when I walked by at the end of July. Normally this would be weird but I love the PNWs randomness and wouldn't question it. Or visit one of their friendly booths to inquire about Arlington. Zipped Stocking Co was the first stand to catch my full attention. These stockings are handmade to hold so many goodies. An entire wine bottle can comfortably nest in these and you can zip it up for safe keeping. The feel of these is so soft and they have the cutest designs like festive avocados! Magik Bathtime had really cool bath bundles that they're raffling off and I'm sure everyone would love to win one! I love the dreamy look of their collections. One stand I will definitely be looking up online is Pacific North Tess. Everything about this booth is perfection. They print your dogs custom portrait on a t shirt or sweater, have all too relatable bumper stickers, plus groovy tye dye attire.

I am ALL for buying local, and if you can afford it, this spot could be perfect for you... I think most will find it's not the most affordable. Example-- they are selling a box of apples for $35 but you could easily buy 20 pounds of apples for $20 from many of the local families in Stanwood/Mt Vernon/ Arlington. Garlic bulbs at Garden treasures are 20$ a pound-- again, you can get boxes of garlic bulbs for much cheaper from other nearby family farms. I could go on. Again, if you can afford it, this is a cool one stop shop for good crops. For my family (we are farmers too) it's just way too expensive/ not a good bang for your buck at all... especially in this economy. My suggestion is-- look to FB marketplace for amazing deals on seasonal crops, you'll get a lot more for your dollar and you're still shopping local.

Besides produce, they also have local cheese and snacks along with a couple of grocery items. We didn't go into the nursery but the bouquet arrangements and potted flowers were beautiful. You have to ring the bell at the checkout, and someone will be there right away to help you. Service was friendly and prompt after ringing the bell.

I arrived late, so some stalls were starting to pack up. I counted about three produce stalls. They also have the typical stalls for honey, or cheese, or cookies/pastries, etc. They also have the non-food items such as pottery. I chose a couple of sweet treats of frosting cookies from "Darlene's Baked Goods"; Darlene was also very nice. I am also looking forward to seeing Port Gardner Crafts in the future. I like their thin wall potteries and hope to find a large size mug in the future. If I am already in the area, it is worth a visit. I would not purposely drive here for the market.

Aside from great people, you will find produce, hand-crafts, meals, baked goods, coffee, Kombucha and more that I have probably overlooked. What you won't find is dogs. Sadly, dogs are not allowed. Even nice ones. But now let's talk about goats. Get this: The market opens every year in April (I think) with a goat parade!!!!!!!!! Mind blown. A goat parade? Yes! Goats marching to music! At the end of the street I found a few food options. The most amazing Filipino food from 88 Cues, irresistible salsas and masala chai, and so much more to try. I ended up buying a bowl cozy at this market. The stand I bought it from has been at other markets and each time I wonder if I really need one. Honestly this is the most underrated and useful item in your household and if you are a camping person then you will love a little bowl holder. Mine has a Mexican skull theme and my husbands is super Mario bros. They're so cute and nicely crafted. I also bought some chicken earrings from Alpine Rio creations. They're beautiful and when I asked if they came in a darker wood color, the artist offered to make me a pair. How amazing is that! I loved the studs and will surely be buying more next time I see them, their work is so cute!
