Example-- they are selling a box of apples for $35 but you could easily buy 20 pounds of apples for $20 from many of the local families in Stanwood/Mt Vernon/ Arlington. Garlic bulbs at Garden treasures are 20$ a pound-- again, you can get boxes of garlic bulbs for much cheaper from other nearby family farms. I could go on. Again, if you can afford it, this is a cool one stop shop for good crops. For my family (we are farmers too) it's just way too expensive/ not a good bang for your buck at all... especially in this economy. My suggestion is-- look to FB marketplace for amazing deals on seasonal crops, you'll get a lot more for your dollar and you're still shopping local.

Honestly this is the most underrated and useful item in your household and if you are a camping person then you will love a little bowl holder. Mine has a Mexican skull theme and my husbands is super Mario bros. They're so cute and nicely crafted. I also bought some chicken earrings from Alpine Rio creations. They're beautiful and when I asked if they came in a darker wood color, the artist offered to make me a pair. How amazing is that! Dalia is the owner and sole operator of Blueberry Acres. She operates during season Mondays-Saturdays from 9:00am-6:00pm. This year (2013) the price for u-pick is $1.90, which is the same as last year's price. Her blueberries are mostly organic. She sprays only once at the beginning of crop. There is an outhouse on site. She takes cash and local checks only. These are the best and biggest blueberries I have ever tasted. Go and experience it for yourself, before the season is over.
