The popular & intimate venue did not allow much space for conversation, only found 1 seat by the register. Did not see info about wifi but could have missed it as there were def peeps working on laptops- maybe I had to ask for that like I did the bathroom key. Got a good matcha latte in a lovely 'delivery.' Staff was polite, efficient. Dearth of offerings info - again, customers there are likely regulars-- so baristas didn't offer info I didn't expressly ask for. (I couldn't see what the milk subs were for drinks, or decaf options, etc.) The drink was fine but this is not the venue for me. I commuted to get there, & was annoying finding a spot in the close-quarters lot. Then had to stop busy staff to ask for the bathroom key...esplly awkwd since I had to go more than once. (Driving & caffeinating, you know?!) This place was just not my cuppa. .

I got to chat with the baristas, who recommended one of their seasonal drinks. The Blackberry Shortbread Cookie Latte. It was the perfect mix of creamy and sweet, with a distinct "matcha-ey" quality where all the flavors balanced each other out perfectly. I really wish I'd had more time to sit and enjoy it there, the space looked so cozy! You definitely have to give their coffee a try. They have several locations throughout the city, but I highly recommend checking this one out!

I have also tasted their iced white mocha latte and it was very sweet for a "regular"sweetened drink. Any time you place an order, you can customize your beverage sweetness. Their service is a little slow when they're busy but that's ok- it's worth the wait lol. There's tables to sit at while you wait.

I had recently tried this drink at another Haraz location and loved it so much that I officially considered myself a matcha drinker. When I received my drink, I noticed it looked much pinker than it had at the other locations I'd visited. I assumed it had just been mixed and that the usual layers of matcha, strawberry, and whipped cloud had blended together, so I didn't think much of it. However, after taking my first sip in the car, it immediately tasted like strawberry milk. Since I was on my way to work, I kept drinking it, expecting the matcha flavor to come through, but it never did. It was disappointing because the drink was nothing like the one I've had several times at other Haraz locations. I hope this location places an emphasis on training and consistency so the drinks meet the same standard as the rest of the Haraz locations. On a positive note, the staff members were kind, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in.

The book prices are particularly good and make it easy to take a chance on an unfamiliar author or genre. The café serves very good coffee. On this visit I had a cortado, which was strong, smooth and well made. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. What I like most is the atmosphere. During my visit I saw families browsing books while enjoying a drink, friends meeting for coffee and people having informal meetings. It feels like a place where you can spend time rather than simply stop by. The balcony seating looked especially appealing for reading or quiet study, with a good view over the café below. A place with plenty of character, and one I will be returning to again.

They offer a lot of drinks and food and have lots of seating. The outdoor area was beautiful and relaxing-ish (they can't help the cars driving by). I ordered a zucchini quiche and nitro coffee, my SO ordered drip, cortado, and empanadas (Patagonia, spinach, and breakfast). I thought the cortado was delicious. The drip was very weak and the nitro bitter. The quiche was just slightly over salted. I liked the spinach empanada, but found it heavy on the salt too. The Patagonia was pretty delicious and had great flavor. When I took a bite of the breakfast empanada, I couldn't name any of the ingredients in the filling. Overall, gave me the caffeine boost and sustenance I needed, but I probably wouldn't return.

I love when businesses, especially food trucks have details like that. I ordered the seaside macchiato on their June specialty drink menu. I told the lady working that I prefer my drinks sweet so she suggested that I add more sweetener. They worked at a great pace with the line that they had. The wait wasn't too long. Maybe 5-7 minutes. My name was called and I stepped up for my drink. It was so pretty! I took a sip and immediately realized that it was not sweet enough to my liking. I stirred and received the same outcome. I went back to the window and asked for more sweetener. The guy working was apologetic and took my drink back with no complaint. Unfortunately, as he attempted to place my cup on the counter, the cup fell. He apologized again and remade it. He didn't cuss, fuss, or seem angry, he just remade the drink. That really made an impact because I would've expected a bit of frustration and there wasn't any. He remade my drink and explained that how I wanted it made, he had to add one less espresso shot. I thanked him for his patience and remaking my drink. They have great customer service! I give this company two thumbs up.

It always feels like a small victory when a local shop is open early enough that I can skip the Green Siren people and enjoy something with a bit more character. A friendly barista took my order and made a perfect cortado in a proper mug. The milk art was tidy and appealing, the cup itself had a bit of charm, and the coffee was rich, balanced, and exactly what I needed to settle into the morning. I spent about an hour at a corner table, watching the place gradually fill with people meeting, chatting, and easing into their day. Only a handful of us had laptops, which made for an interesting mix of energy in the room. Or at least, interesting to me as I chipped away at a bit of work. The parking lot is far too small for the number of people who clearly love this place, so cars spilled out along the street. Even so, it was a pleasant and productive stop, and a good way to bridge the time before my appointment. [Review 58 of 2026 - 4537 in North Carolina - 25248 overall]
