Food was very good and plentiful. The coffee was great and loved the assorted creamers. Breakfast menu had a big variety to choose from. Service was on point and always there when you needed them. The Restraunt as a whole could be bigger! There is always a wait to be seated. The parking lot is very small to match the building. When you do finally get inside and seated you will enjoy yourself! Let's talk about the service! Ebony was great! She said she made a great iced coffee and she wasn't lying. All of our food was wonderful as well! Amazing food! Huge servings and fresh. Biscuits bigger than my hand! Super service! Friendly workers. Great ambiance. We were there early so it was pretty empty but the jukebox was playing good music. Only slight complaint is how fast they bring the check. Server kept checking on us so not a big deal but does feel a bit rushed. I think that just may be their policy. Go get breakfast! read more

I had a bad experience at my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered an Avocado Toast Meal on Gluten Free Bread. It was supposed to come with Fruit and Eggs. Server said it also came with potatoes and I ordered Hash Browns. Food came out and they gave me Country Potatoes instead of Hash Browns. Eggs were overcooked. The Avocado Toast wasn't toasted. The fruit was missing. It was explained to me that it's not possible to toast the Gluten Free Bread. They took the plate back and left the Sausage. I had a bite of the sausage to try and it was salty. When the food came back, the bread was miraculously toasted. I asked to have fresh sausage because it became cold.. and they had the nerve to come back with the same sausage that I took a bite out of reheated.. that was the last straw. The manager came by and she was pretty great, empathetic and took care of my meal.. as I lost my appetite. With the experience, I am probably not going to come back.. especially seeing Cockroaches crawling up the walls and seeing one of the workers killing it.. My husband and brother said the food was subpar and meh.. it's not worth it.. the tables around us also had issues with order issues. read more

Not impressed at all with Black Bear Diner. The service was fair (server messed up on several requests), but the food was their downfall. I ordered the meatloaf, which was not good at all. It was full of shredded carrots which were not cooked. Who wants crunchy meatloaf??? I also asked for the gravy on the side, and it came out with gravy poured over the meat. The lemonade was so sour that I had to add sugar to make it palatable. About the best thing I can say about this place is that the decor is cute. Probably will not return. read more

The service was great! Our waitress, Santana, was very sweet and informative. The chicken fried steak was very good, and the gravy was delicious. The red potatoes were just okay because they needed to be cooked longer. The pancakes did not come with the chicken fried steak. I would rate the pancakes a 4/10. I chose to get the toast instead of the biscuit, and I liked it. Get your eggs with cheese! Overall, I'll definitely be back. I like the atmosphere and the little store at the front! read more

Came in for a breakfast with the husband. Waited about 10 min to be seated which was not bad at all. Once we were seated our waitress, Julissa, greeted us, took our drink order and promptly brought our drinks, it was around 10:55 am at this time. We placed our order, which was quite simple, an omelette and some biscuits and gravy with sausage and eggs. About 15 min after waiting, they brought our food, which was completely wrong, we figured it was delivered to the wrong table, they apologized and said our food should be out soon. Not worried at this point. Our food was brought out an hour and 10 min (ish) after we ordered it. We were so hungry at that point, but my food was so dried, I couldn't even cut into my scrambled eggs, my sausage was so burnt that I couldn't bite into it and my gravy on my biscuits was cold. Not ONCE did the manager come apologize, or give any explanation as to why it took so long, a few other people around us left without their food as well. Instead I saw the manager just standing and watching the kitchen. Our waitress was very nice and attentive but the quality of the food was so poor and clearly the manager needs to have a little bit more training on how to run a restaurant and address the customers in these situations. I'm not sure we will be back. This was simply the worst dining experience we've ever had. read more

Went there with my family. Waited awhile before food came. Then when food came , the order was totally wrong. Manager came to make it right but we still had to wait longer for the food and still only got 2 eggs when it should have been 3 but by this time we were so aggravated, we just let it go. The toast was cold by the time they got the food. They need better management. We didn't even know who our waitress was until she came with the food. ( which was the wrong food too) she said oh well I don't take the orders. That right there is a problem. Very disorganized! read more
