Yes, no one likes their car towed, so it's never a "good experience." But I was there because my car was stolen and they were very helpful with everything. read more

The car simply vanished with no explanation!! There where no signs saying that parking was prohibited! I asked a neighbor, and they said the same thing happened to their car- there's always parking on this street for YEARS. Some lame parking-enforcer is gouging the people of this street/ neighborhood unlawfully. 311 said Archers Towing is the registered servicer of that area. Black & White Towing had the car instead even though it was twice as far away... Shirley didn't explain the "Valley Adjudication Form" very well, misspelling my name on paperwork, too. Now, I have to request a refund from the city which can take a long long time. This entire process gave me a black eye, and I did nothing wrong. I'm out hundreds of dollars. What a ruinous day... read more

My experience at this establishment was disappointing. Based on how I was treated compared with other customers, I believe I was subjected to discriminatory treatment. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to ensure every customer is treated with respect. read more

Thieves. This company is completely unlawful and is in cahoots with the police. The steal property with no remorse. The large woman with long yellow witch nails and potbelly behind the front desk was unhelpful and was openly laughing at us when we called the police as they didn't want to show us the paperwork that provided the information of why our RV got unlawfully towed. It was honestly one of the most stressful experiences of my life coming here. The police never showed up despite us calling several times and waiting 2 hours. This place needs to be investigated. Terrible value, zero customer care. read more

This business took our car in after one day of receiving a parking ticket. We tried to pay the ticket online that same night of getting the ticket and it didn't work online - the ticket wasn't in the system. The next morning by 6:30am the towing company driver was pulling up to take our car. When asking him why he was going to take our car even tried getting the ticket paid, he told us he didn't know anything and to talk to the cops. We're lucky to have credit and resources to pay the towing company after 7 hours of back and forth between cop station, DMV and this towing company. Most who lose their cars to this company are unable to pay, and this company not only gains from their loss since they have a business to sell impounded cars, it also charges people for every day the car is inside their pound regardless. We saw the person in front of us struggling after hearing the cost of getting his car back and being unable to, & then being told that if he didn't pay on that day he'd have to pay more every day. If he left his car and didn't want it, he'd still owe $750 and if he couldn't pay, it would go collections. The woman speaking to him showed no emotion, no compassion, or empathy for his situation. It was heartbreaking. read more

Unwilling to have an ounce of compassion, unwilling to give an additional week before auctioning my car off. I have acquired a loan to pay everything but it's not a Mac Donald's and the loan service takes a few days. They refused. I still have never received any notification who ordered my car to be towed. I am convinced they are again using predatory practices. I'm fairly certain they have "arrangements" with the LAPD/DOT as it's one of their "official" garages and impound yards. They find a viable auto, call a bud and suddenly they receive an order to tow. read more

They answered the phone promptly, were able to understand my needs. Overall I would say they were very helpful and they had quick service.

****Warning**** Got my corvette towed after engine shut off nearby on Sunday which police came by and since my car was dead in a no parking anytime zone so this towing company was available at that time only! And unfortunately . A guy came name Felix and I told him must be so careful since the car is racing low car in perfect body condition. He picked it up and no problem till he dropped it off in my parents house (since was closer) then the hook from the towing truck damaged the front splitter under bumper. So I took photos and videos before and after then called the office a few days later and supervisor name (John) spoke with me and said there is no record! Lol After a few minutes finally found it in system! He said you should come to office and fill out report for damage. I drove there and waited till 6:45 pm (15 min prior closing) then John showed up. He said we didn't do it. There was damage before picking up the car... Then i show every photo and he tried his best to throw the ball at me and saying there was damage before picking up. Then he look in my eyes and said; What do you want? I answered... I want it to get fixed. He said; I'm not going to replace or fix the bumper... So I'm not done with you guys. I paid $250 to get it towed for 9 miles and damage my car? Lol I'm not letting people like you to freely harm society and people and make dirty money. You faced the wrong guy. This towing company definitely steals property, beware. Did not give the drivers name. Missing a black Nintendo Switch console under their supervision, they took the console out of the case and left the case. Taking advantage of going inside the car after they towed the vehicle from where it was well parked after an accident. They have cameras all around their lot, will definitely go to the full extend to get to the bottom of it to find who ever is accountable. No sympathy for thieves. I was anxious about the place reading all the bad reviews, so we arrived 3hrs after it opened, and everyone was actually pretty nice. A family member's car was towed to Black & White Towing after an accident. Never having experienced this before, I found B&A staff to be very helpful. The men in the yard were exceptional. They helped me find important items in the shards of glass and twisted metal. Three of them worked on prying open the trunk. Gabriel and his coworkers (sorry, I've forgotten their names) were respectful and kind. Thank you all for making a really horrible situation just a bit easier. read more

Came to pick up my parents car that was stolen at approximately 12pm since they would charge extra $50.00 after 1pm and last night I couldn't pick it up because the closed @7pm. When we got here we tried to start the car but looks like who ever stole it used up all the gas and dumped it the vehicle. I went couple blocks down to get a canister and some gas. I asked the gentleman that I have never done this and he help when I get back. He said absolutely. It literally took me 10 min there and back. Well, he left for a dispatch and no one was available to let us in to go to the vehicle. We had to wait for 20 more min until someone else arrives. Finally someone does and let's us in to the storage to go to the vehicle and put gas. I asked him to help and he refused with attitude and I explained to him that the other employee promised us to help. Let me start by saying my mother is 70 years old, there is no way she can possibly do this on her own. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of that Hispanic employee. So after 30 minutes of trying to do this myself and that employee not giving a damn that I am having difficulty with this situation and all fuel is leaking on me and I'm already dirty. Ends up that who ever stole the car punctured the tank and all my gas I'm inserting is leaking out of the bottom of the car. Now I'm even more mad. We asked if they can tow the vehicle to the dealership and they said no, so now we call AAA and wait another hour. What a day this is. Three hours for nothing. read more

Because I was robbed at gun point my car was towed here for finger printing. I explained to the people that my car, tools, phone, and all cash I had was in the car. With the 20 or so people working at this place not 1 of them had the decency to let me use a phone to make a call for help. this company makes it so hard to get your vehicle back you can't pay them over the phone are used credit card everything has to be cash so if you guys ever get robbed make sure you keep some spare cash in your shoe or some thing so you can get your car out.fuck there service! WORST TOWING COMPANY!!! Stay away from these losers. They will damage your car and not want to help with anything!

Unfortunately the people here are fucking useless. Was given wrong information by 2 different employees on how to get my vehicle back and how much it would cost. Ended up spending $600 just to get dmv paperwork up to date only to go back to the tow yard and find out it was nearly triple the amount of money of what they originally told me to get the car out. If I had the correct information in the first place I would've happily just signed the car over instead of paying those dmv fees for nothing. Only one employee told us the damn truth and felt bad for us. I wish she would have been the first employee we talked to. She would have saved us a bunch of money in the first place. Your employees all need to get on the same page and at least be truthful instead of screwing people over. Fuck you guys read more

This company needs to be investigated by both the BBB and the Bureau of Consumer Protection for fraud. One of my cars was stolen and abandoned in front of a fire hydrant and it was promptly towed by this shady company. I only discovered this because they sent me a letter stating my car had been towed and was subject to a lien sale. I promptly called them to let them know that I would be arriving with the police report and my identification to prove I was the owner and I would have no issue paying for any impound fees. When I arrived in person, they said the car had already been in the lot for 3 weeks (even though I had just received the letter a day prior) so the cost would be even higher than the amount that was on the letter they sent and here's the kicker, they wouldn't let me obtain my title in the glove box even though I had my license with me. Lol. I'm guessing they do a multitude of insidious things in order to keep your car in impound as long as possible so you keep accruing fees. And you'll love the angry woman behind the counter, she's a real peach. read more

Black and white towing have no customer service. The lady in the office was extremely rude, would actually ignore us when we had questions.
