These guys are the best! They moved us in 100+ degree weather, with 2 flights of stairs at each building and each person was always a pleasure to be around. They really wrapped our furniture well and provided 3 wardrobe boxes, too. We are a couple who moved out of a 1 bedroom into a 2, but I swear we already had 2 bedrooms worth of stuff. We were also cost conscious and felt they understood that, so they worked their butts off to try to meet that timeframe. There were no hidden fees and their hourly rate made it easy to know what we were spending. Jaden went the extra mile and showed up at the end to help the 3 other guys hoist our couch up through the 2nd fl balcony because it wouldn't fit through the hallway/door. Wow! I am so thankful I read all the good yelp reviews and called BK! My neighbor was giving away her piano but there were only two days to move it before escrow closed, so I had to hurry!! I was afraid any mover I called with think I was joking because I live in the hills of echo park and have 40 steps up to my house! 40 steps!!!!! But I talked to Jaden, explained everything, and he said he would make it happen. The next morning the owner, Jaden, showed up with Danny and Greg and these 3 guys went above and beyond! They wrapped the piano thoroughly (it's clear they've done this many time before!) They had to roll the piano up the street on a dolly since their truck was too big for these crazy streets. These are good guys. They are punctual, professional, and simply put: they do a high quality job for a fair price. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. In fact, I did. The first time we used their services, we were scheduled to move out of an apartment into our new house while I was 7 months preggers... then escrow went sideways resulting in some extremely stressful residential limbo. Jaden was so understanding and accommodated our situation. When the big day finally came, we came across more obstacles at the new house while my husband had to leave to deal with an urgent matter. The move took twice as long and was three times as chaotic than we expected due to issues with the house. My wife and I used their services in our recent move from Los Angeles to Idyllwild. Jaden was extremely helpful and informative and worked with us to get us as much assistance as possible while still keeping the move within our budget. Greg packed up most of the items in our kitchen and did an excellent job - everything arrived perfectly intact. They helped us pack up a few last items that we hadn't been able to find a good spot for, and they added tape to any of the boxes that we had done ourselves that needed to be more secure. Because of the distance it was a flat rate move that covered a certain amount of driving time, but there were no complaints when the drive ended up being 5 hours instead of the usual 3. I called BK to move a 400 pound armoire. I called a few other places and BK had the best price. I had been using helpers from the Uhaul truck rental for my move, which have been fine - but I didn't want to trust my most expensive piece of furniture to them. Plus if you don't know what you are doing, people can get injured moving something that heavy. What a pleasure to work with real professionals! They came on a Sunday, right on time....wasted no time....fully protected the furniture...were polite and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of BK Movers and the owner Jaden! I called today to see if they would be able to move a large and heavy (500+ lbs) tank at the medical facility I work at. I got lucky and they had a cancelation and were in the area. Within 2 hours of contacting him, they had the tank moved! They were on time, very courteous and accommodating to my requests and needs, and handled the tank with great care. While any movers are not cheap, they charged a fair rate.
