Their estimate was reasonable, and they used quality materials for which they are certified installers. Their workers were early to the job site, efficient, and tidy. My roof looks wonderful! The gutter system, due to be reinstalled in a few days, will complete this job. Despite the 2021 worker shortages and the material delays and costs that so many companies are struggling with, Gregory's did not overpromise, yet they achieved what they said they would do. I would hire them again with 100% confidence.

They were not only upfront and honest with their time-table, abilities and recommendations; they were also very open to use a product they typically don't use. Communication was very clear and an understanding of the booked schedule they had was taken into consideration. We were provided a time frame of several months out. We placed our order and followed up with their team only three times; once to determine if we were still on schedule, once to confirm if all product was received and once to confirm installation date. We did not have any rush for this and gave them breathing room to do what they needed to do to prepare. We were fully aware that it would be a few months before installation, which for the job and their schedule, was a very reasonable expectation. The work was scheduled to be completed within one day, but unfortunately things happen; the truck transporting our product blew a tire and was delayed by several hours. Within that time Gregory's crew prepped our roof and kept me constantly up to date with projections. The job wound-up being a two day job, but since there was rain in the forecast for the next day, completion would not be until the following day. This concerned us, as no homeowner really wants a tarped roof to be exposed to the elements regardless of its integrity. We woke early the next morning surprised to find Gregory's crew jumping back into it. Crew member Johnny informed me that he could not sleep knowing the job was not done, and since the storm was not expected to hit until around 11AM, they moved swiftly to finish. End product looks amazing. We are extremely satisfied with their performance. Great guys to talk to, very friendly with good stories who demonstrate personal conviction in their work. Our recommendation: Relax, roofers during this time are very busy, manage your expectation for installation in a reasonable manner, rather than pushing excessively for unnecessary confrontation. The quality and value is there.

Had to actually get back in touch with one of the contractors because he had forgotten to send me the estimate for the project. Got in touch with W & A construction, William P. showed up on time to have a look at the repairs that needed to be done, sent me an estimate in a timely manner. William and his crew showed up on time to start with the project, got to work right away and I was very happy with the results and the price, repairs looked better than brand new. I do recommend W & A construction, very professional business, will call them again in the future.

Got five competitive bids from various contractors in NOVA. Some submitted responses verbally, some thru Yelp, and others with a written proposal. I prefer to do business in writing so sufficed to say, I did not pick the low cost submission. The work included (1) repairing, replacing, painting... 4 trim areas high up on my three story TH, (2) repairing, filling, and painted two Woodpecker holes high up on my home (3) cleaning. caulking, and painting my exterior rear slider door (4) cleaning all my gutters of debris. I received proposals from $2700 to $13,000... a really broad range. I selected W & A for several reasons. (1) the provided the best value with a comprehensive proposal, (2) they provided excellent references. (3) and most importantly .... They were responsive, patient, flexible and willing to negotiate. Let me reiterate the importance of .....William and Anna's customer service through my evaluation process (1) Responsive : when I sent them email and yelp messaging, , they responded with 2 hours (2) they were patient, through out my 3 month evaluation and iterated with me on my questions and requirements changes (3) they allowed payment terms that fit my requirements. The workers were professional and clean. They were flexible working on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. They even took care of a few other smaller items while on the job. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND W & A Construction for your home renovation and repair needs. I'll be calling them again for other home repairs in the future!! Thanks William for your contracting service.

My wife and I used Blaine to remodel our master bathroom and quest bathroom. When it came time to…read moreremodel our kitchen, we selected Fine Line Construction again. There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.
