Skip to the bottom for the overviews of the Review…read more I would like to share my recent experience as a new customer seeking custom modifications for my vehicle. My initial inquiry was regarding an air suspension system, but after further consultation with the knowledgeable technicians, I opted for a custom muffler, pipe, exhaust, and resonator delete. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and expertise displayed by the technicians. Despite my limited knowledge of car culture and my numerous questions, they consistently provided insightful answers and examples. Their honesty, educational approach, and understanding of my requests were greatly appreciated. I was usually an extra 30-45min just to example to be the pro and con or just answering my questions. I am typically very selective about who I allow to work on my vehicle. However, from the moment I entered their establishment to inquire about a basic estimate for my initial plan of installing air suspension, I never felt as though they were solely interested in acquiring my money. Furthermore, I was under significant time constraints, with only two weeks to complete a substantial amount of work. They collaborated with me and even worked (almost 2 hours past closing) overtime to ensure that my vehicle was completed on schedule. Additionally, whenever the project exceeded their initial projections, they would promptly contact me, either by phone or text message, to provide updates and seek my approval. And even discount the cost when I didn't even ask which help me alot and even lyft ride to and back. I was genuinely surprised by their willingness to go above and beyond in these seemingly minor aspects. These small gestures greatly contributed to my trust in their expertise and professionalism, ultimately leading me to confidently recommend their services to my friends and family. In conclusion, I am highly satisfied with the outcomes of their work and the reasonable costs incurred. I would definitely consider them again for future projects. The scope of work performed over the five-day period includes: - Custom muffler installation and hardwiring. - Fabrication of a custom lobster cut exhaust pipe. - Assistance with additional fabrication for exhaust tip alignment. - Comprehensive system diagnostics. - Replacement of the engine thermostat. - Provision of detailed responses to numerous inquiries. Quick Overview of the Review; * After consulting with knowledgeable technicians, I chose custom muffler, pipe, exhaust, and resonator delete instead of an air suspension system for my vehicle. * The technicians were professional, honest, and patient in answering my questions despite my limited car knowledge. * They prioritized my needs and worked overtime to complete the substantial work within my tight two-week deadline. * They kept me informed about any additional costs and even offered a discount without me asking. *Lyft service provided. * Their exceptional service and expertise have earned my trust, and I highly recommend them to others. * I'm delighted with the outcome and will return for future projects.

I'm a long time customer of Bob's Muffler and have given them a positive review in the past…read more They've done an entire exhaust system on my 2010 Ford F150 Raptor and put a mild/medium muffler on my wife's Lexus GX460. Also lots of miscellaneous exhaust work in between. This last Monday I once again took a new to me vehicle (2020 Tacoma V6) in for a little less restrictive muffler. After some discussion, I (we) decided on an 18" DT free flow muffler, intended to result in a little rumble and less back pressure. Unfortunately, it was a bit too loud and had some minor drone on the highway. I went back on Thursday asking to go to the 24" version of the same muffler. My intent was to ask Kim (Manager) to slide me a bit on price, understanding the primary responsibility was mine. She would not hear of it. She swapped the mufflers out, charging me a small labor fee. I actually asked her to take more money. She declined, saying she wanted me happy, period. THIS is the reason good businesses survive and thrive. I have sent and will continue to refer friends to Bob's as/ where possible for the simple reason that they are the best and they completely own the entire process. I'm hopeful this review helps you to become a Bob's customer too!

I have a 1990 Toyota truck that I use every day for work. On this truck, the speedometer sends a signal to the computer, which tells the transmission when to shift. When the circuit in the speedometer failed, the transmission started shifting very erratically, and the truck became undriveable. I couldn't find anyone who was willing to work on a 35-year-old speedometer. Out of desperation, I gave the details to ChatGPT and asked for a recommendation. It pointed me to iKarz Speedometers & Automotive in Bakersfield, CA. I called and spoke with Chris, who told me they had all the necessary equipment to troubleshoot the unit down to the component level, repair it, and then test it to ensure everything met factory specifications. I also asked him about replacing the burned out Hi-Beam and Over-Drive and indicator lamps while they had it, and he suggested that he could replace all the original dash illumination lamps and indicator lamps with new, brighter, longer-lasting German-made bulbs. I overnighted the instrument cluster to him via UPS. He came in when they were closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving to receive it. They started work on it first thing Monday morning, and had it repaired, tested and shipped via UPS Next Day Air on Wednesday. My truck is all back together now and it is shifting flawlessly. It is such a pleasure to drive again! In an era where real customer service is hard to find, Chris and iKarz Speedometers & Automotive, delivered in every way. I am totally satisfied with their work and highly recommend them without hesitation.
