I called this place because they had a seat that I needed for a Mazda CX-5 and it was at cheap price 157 , talked to Richard and told him I was coming to get it from Los Angeles all the way to bakers field 2 hour drive , When I got there they first some guy on the front told me they didn't have anything for that car then he found the records that I talked to Richard and radioed the guys on the back to bring the seat , i waited more than 30 mins when I got news , they told me that they Couldn't remove the seat from the car , I told them that I only needed the top that if they could do me a favor and cut it they said no, then I asked if they could sell me the airbag cause that's what I needed , again I was denied that , I asked so what are you gonna do with the seat ? They said they'll scrap it wit the car which obviously I doubt , I figured thet advertised the seat at a too low price and at a higher price , they didn't want to sell it to me for the lower end and came up with all sort of excuses not taking in consideration my drive and all day wasted because they couldn't tell me they were not gonna sell that seat at 150 not apologetic they just said the boss don't want to do anything to the seat not but half or take it apart to sell it even though i told them about my drive and I just went to them for that part no other busses to drive and waste all my day and money on this ordeal , please make sure they have the part ready when you call and don't waste your time and money and get turned back frustrated and angry , to this company please change your listing to correct prices or tell customer you're not gonna sell before they go to your location and waste their time if you're not gonna honor the prices read more

Made an online purchase very easy. For a salvage yard the reviews were pretty good and the owners also answer every review regardless of being positive or not. That is a good sign of a small business that cares. I have a body shop for over 35 years. I was apprehensive since it was a two hour drive each way and I had already gone to a couple of local yards that simply lied over the phone. Unfortunately that is a big risk in dealing with junk yards. Higgins is not a junk yard. When we got there I was completely blown away. The door was clean and ready on a rack. Exactly as described. Called on Feb 24 for GMC Yukon Denali dash panel. Luis quickly found one is good shape and told me it could be out by the next morning. However, when they tried to remove the part, the plastic had become so brittle from sun damage that it cracked. They quickly refunded me my deposit when I arrived and Daniel (I think was his name) helped me find an armrest that I needed for the same vehicle. This is the cleanest "junkyard" I've been to! They take pride in their work and it shows. I needed a seat for my Camry, they had many but the original one I bought had an issue so they found another one but when they brought it out the airbag had blown. Mary went and had her mechanics pull another seat out for me, which needed up being a perfect seat. I had drove 2 hours to get the seat as well, they could have easily refunded or told me tough luck. Instead they went above and beyond to ensure my trip was worthwhile. They even loaded the seat for me. All of this was on a hot day, they treated us like family, never once heard any groaning or issues when I refused the seat with a blown airbag. They immediately went to correct the issue. It's been 6 months and the seat is more than what I wanted, has great cushion and feel, no place else would I be able to get this part quality at such a cheap price read more

Far and away, the best customer service of any used automotive parts around! I needed an a/c compressor and an alternator for an '02 Mazda Tribute. After calling or visiting nearly every automotive recycler in the book, I was greeted with the one person who was pleasant and did not sound disgruntled. The facility was clean, and the used parts were very clean, in bags, and with protective caps installed. Here's the amazing part: They were the cheapest, and offered a 1 yr warranty!!! They were courteous, understanding and took my order on the phone no problem. Not only that but shipping was fairly inexpensive for a bulky, heavy part. To top it all off, it arrived the very next day from Bakersfield to Pasadena. The part was even in great condition. Went there today to pick up parts for my car, called daniel the day before and as little as few seconds on hold daniel knew the parts I was talking about and confirmed that it is available sure enough came and got the parts in less than 5 mins, the drive might be 2 hours long but hell you don't that kinda service elsewhere. Their yard is so clean and organized i would say its cleaner than any electronic store, you would not think that it is a car dismantling place till you walk in the dirt. From the front to the back it look like a car dealership.
